I would like to make my travel resolution to be to visit family in the states of Va, TN, and SC this year :)

My wife is planning on retiring this year so we are planning a trip to Florida to hopefully catch one of the final shuttle launches. I traveled to Florida last May and saw one by myself which was spectacular and was on my bucket list. I traveled all the way from Western Canada to Florida and back and stayed in Best Western Hotels every night of the 3 week trip with the exception of one where they claimed not to have a room available. This is another story for another time but has been settled.

I would like to try and talk less and listen more. I know I talk too much and it has been a problem with my partner who is a very slow talker and gets constantly cut off by me and with my friends, as soon as I interrupt I know I did it again but I can't help myself sometimes. I need to try and correct this and I made myself a new year's resolution that I will give it my best effort this year!

Last year I made the drive to the Pacific Northwest! It was a dream of mine since I was in high school. The ocean was gorgeous! The enormous redwood trees were AMAZING. It was the best trip I'd ever taken! This country truly is gorgeous!

My travel resolution for 2011 is to get my tourist visa for China and to take a citytrip to Shanghai with my partner.

When it come to travel - resolutions were easy to make, hopefully easier to keep! Our VERY first resolution is just that - to travel more. We are proud elite members of the Best Western program in conjunction with Harley Davidson and vow this year will be a "frequent travel year". We take part in a program from Harley Davidson called the "Tour Card" - in summary, you are asked to visit about 20-30 HD dealers all over New England - hence causing a lot of overnight stays especially when we go to Caribou, ME from Springfield, MA. (about 10-12 hour trip one way). We'd really like to complete the card AGAIN this year, but much more relaxed than we have in the past. Motorcycles are a great way to "tour" anywhere - not just New England!

I would love to be able to finally visit my family in the east coast again. I don't have the money to travel there, and I really miss them all. Hopefully I can save up this year and go on a trip out there this summer :) That's what I'm striving for, anyway!

I like the idea of a travel resolution. My travel resolution for 2011 is to take our family to Florida and stay on the Gulf Coast side near Tampa. You have a nice looking location on Treasure Island that looks inviting. We were in Florida a couple of years ago and the kids loved it and want to go again. So do I.

My New Year resolution is to say "Yes" to more travel opportunities! I am lucky to have friends that love to travel, and I need to take advantage of that and travel with them more!

My resolution is to go at least twice this year to go somewhere on a weekend to a place where I've never been before. The plan is sleep in late, maybe lounge by a pool, take in a cultural or see a historical site. Be a Lady of Leisure!!

My family travelled to Brevard, NC, October, 2010, and had a great time visiting the little shops there. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and delicious food at Mayberry's Restaurant. I highly suggest trying their Mayberry’s Grilled Peanut Butter with Banana Sandwich. It was scrumptious. We made a day trip to Sevierville, TN, and took in the outlets and a nice winery trail. We did some Rainbow Trout fishing and caught enough for a good fish fry. The mountain scenery was gorgeous with the beautiful changing leaves. This was a trip my family was looking forward to taking in 2010 and we were all thankful when it became a reality!

My resolution is to take my son somewhere new this year. Hopefully out of province!

Last summer we went on an amazing west coast starting in Vancouver, and stopping off at Seattle, Portland, the redwoods, and San Francisco.

This coming year it will be hard to top that, but I resolve to travel to at least two new cities and hopefully a new country!

I have resolved to go to my 40th high school reunion in Valley Station, Kentucky this summer. I'm going to take my darling husband, born and bred (and refusing to leave NJ unless it's to a tropical island) New Jerseyan that he is, who claims he doesn't need to go. I told him it wouldn't kill him to go, but it might if he didn't.

I am trying to quit smoking. It's not going well but I keep trying, I've quit for a couple days and then my truck blew up. I smoked. I quit again for a couple days and my hard drive went out and my fiancee and I broke up over $49. I am going to try and quit again in a couple days after I throw out everything else that is getting ready to break. I can' t take any stress when I quit and this life makes it very hard.

I'm a chronic studier-abroad. In college, I spent two semesters in Costa Rica and Uganda, respectively. So my travel goal for 2010 was to spend another semester studying (for grad school this time) on a new continent. January through May were spent in beautiful Cambodia! It was amazing.

Last year I made a resolution to go to Disneyland as a family for my 30th birthday. We made it! Beyond that, we had the classic American family road trip on the way back up the coast.

Essentially, California is one giant amusement park.

Our family loves traveling and recently we have been visiting our National Parks and Monuments. In 2010 we took a road trip from Florida, our home state, to the West. We visited the historic missions of San Antonio, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Guadalupe Mountains National Park, White Sands National Monument, Great Sand Dunes National Park, the Black Canyon of the Gunison River National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Hot Springs National Park and the Vicksburg National Battlefield. This year our traveling plans include visiting the parks in Washington State. We will be traveling to Seattle, the North Cascades National Park, the Olympic Peninsula National Park, Mount Rainier National Park and Mount St Helens National Monument. Needles to say, we have enjoyed staying in the Best Western hotels where we always encounter excellent quality at a reasonable price. In 2010 we stayed twenty two nights in the Best Western Chain. Our loyalty was rewarded with two free nights at an excellent Best Western in Key West Florida.

Definitely, my dream has always been a summer visit to Ulaanbaatar!

That was a blast and we hope to do it again soon. We try to use Best Western every time we travel. We love that we can get the travel cards and use as we need them. We paid for our hotel last time we went to LA and it was effortless.

This is the year we will take our first big family trip...we are going to Disneyland!!!! I have never been before so I think I am just as excited as my five year old twin boys.

My travel resolution for this yearm is definitely to drive the Oregon coast with my daughter. I used to camp it as a teen with my family and have always loved it there. Now I want to take my 10 year to all the beautiful places I loved growing up, we had planned on driving up last year during summer but I had to have knee surgery and ended up not going. This year its the top of my travel list.

In January I start to search the travel sites as a gardener does the seed catalogs. This year I would like to do Italy - but perhaps with a small group rather than our usual independent travel. I have also been looking at something to St. Petersburg and Moscow. Possibly with a river cruise included. The Quebec four-ways Elderhostal has been calling for a couple of years. So many places that call - such a hard decision to be made.

Last year I was able to make my trip to Forks, WA I wanted to so badly, this year I want to go again. More road trips

In 2009, my now husband and I got engaged in Greece. In 2010, we honeymooned in Hawaii. This year, in 2011, we definitely have big shoes to fill! For our one-year anniversary, we'd like to fly to Northern California, rent a car, and drive down the coast until we reach Southern California (while seeing the sights and enjoying some delicious food along the way!)

With a 21month old who loves the beach and a baby due any day now, we are hoping to take a couple of weeks to travel along the Oregon Coast this summer. We are going to save the BIG trips for when the kids can remember them.

My 2011 travel resolutions are to travel more & visit a place we haven't been. My daughter is 5 and we are trying to see a new place every year. I didn't get to travel much as a child and think it makes for great childhood memories. I want her to see places that she would normally just read about in books. TAKING A ROAD TRIP THIS SUMMER FROM FLA TO CONN AND BACK . HAVE RESERVATIONS AT BEST WESTERNS ALONG THE WAY.

We are frequent Best Western guests. Our first trip this year if to the Nascar race in Vegas in March. Then on to Phoenix and Yuma to see friends. Summer will bring a trip to Mount Rushmore, as well as Montana, and British Columbia. We love Best Western.

I plan to visit national parks in the western US and stay at nearby Best Westerns this summer.

Two summers ago we headed to Seattle (from Kansas) to see some elderly relatives. About half-way there, my husband got sick, and we had to turn around and come home. In 2010 we didn't have time or money to take a vacation. This coming summer our goal is to make it to Seattle while our relatives are still in reasonably good health. A $250 gift card would definitely help us make the decision to travel.

I would love to travel to the beaches in North Carolina. My parents travel up the coast for their anniversery last year the the pics were just beautiful and now I'm ready to visit for my self.

We are from CANADA. I would like to take my wife to see THE OPRAH WINFREY Show in Chicago and would love to stay at A BEST WESTERN in Chicago.!!!!

My wife and I were married a couple of years ago. We put all of our wedding costs on a mileage earning credit card. That gave us a big amount of miles and combined with continued accrual of mileage for our regular spending we were able to finally cash in those miles for tickets.

In November 2010 (our anniversary), we were able to take a trip to Argentina and Brazil. It was a fantastic trip and will give us many memories to think about and share with our children (when we have some!)

We haven't decided what 2011 has in store, but we're looking to continued travel and new experiences.

2011 travel resolution is to allow more time for travel to the U.S and Europe.

Last year we had planned to go to China. But, an opportunity came up to go to Israel that we couldn't pass up. Our trip was with a well-known politician/talk show host whom we got to know personally and we figured this probably wouldn't come along again. We went to Israel instead and had an amazing trip. So, our travel resolution is now to save the $$$ to go to China in a couple of years for our wedding anniversary!

I want to go places I have never been to. We are on this planet a short time.

My travel resolution is to spend time in New England this summer visiting some of the historic sights, a bit of shopping and also taking in a couple of baseball games in Boston. We always look for a Best Western stay at as they provide the best value for your travel dollar.

2011 travel resolution is to visit a very old friend who recently located me. She was made of honor at my wedding and was one of the first friends when I moved to Floriday. Now reside in Texas and plan on taking my husband with me to visit. We all love to salt water fish. My husband has never been to the Atlantic coast.

2011 travel resolution is to travel to South Florida to visit a dear old friend that recently located me. We became dear friends in 1969. Lost track of each other over the years after I moved back to Texas. My husband, my friend and I all love to salt water fish and are excited to be getting together again.

Our travel desire for several years was to do a cruise to Belize to visit Mayan ruins. We were fortunate to be able to accomplish this in December. For 2011, our family hopes to make several 3-night 'short' trips to regional sites and in December be able to visit Europe (again).

In Novemeber, we will be taking my folks & in-laws to Mexico. We hope to become pregnant on that final trip....

My husband and I took a motorcycle trip from Minneapolis to Laconia, New Hampshire, to attend the oldest bike rally. We'd thought about doing this for a number of years. It was wonderful!

I would like to surprise my wife with a 40th anniversary trip to Italy for us and our 3 grown children to see where our ancestors came from.

We had to transfer to B.C. last year and my daughters were upset because they had to leave all their friends. I would like to take them back this summer to visit them all in Spruce Grove Alberta.

My travel resolution is to go to Sanibel Island off Florida with my twins. My 16 teen year old daughter,one of the twins, has loved the idea of looking for and collecting shells since she was a small girl. She has been to Mexico and Hawaii a couple of times, but growing up in Alaska has not given her very many chances to gather many shells. We have both read about the wonderfulness of the island and it's extensive shell treasury. We want to dig our toes in the sand and run through the waves. Next year my daughter will be a senior in high school and then off to college. She will have very little time to vacation with her poor old mom. I would like to have one more vacation with my twins before their agendas change. And I hope there will be a Best Western on the island to complete this wonderful vacation.

My resolution is to get out of my comfort zone and go with a group of high school students to Europe in March.

I will be traveling to Florida in February. I would also like to drive to Arizona and do some driving around Canada.

We are hopeful to make ends meet to enable our 16 year old son the opportunity to play in a junior golf tournament that he qualified for in Texas this spring.

My travel resolution for 2011 was to see the homeland of my stepfather and go to Russia to see the Hermitage and Moscow and my reservations are made. Yo oh, heave ho! I'm goin'!

My new years travel resolution is to travel to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. My spouse and I also plan to travel to Italy and Paris for our anniversary. We also made a resolution to take a road trip starting from New York and going to the places we grew up in all the way to California where my husband use to live. We love to travel and this year we want to make it big and better. So hopefully we will get started in February by going to Niagara Falls.

This is a "TWO-IN-ONE" comment. This past summer in June, my wife and I traveled to Israel with a group from our church. It was one of the best trips we have ever taken. To be up close and personal with our Christian beliefs and history was awesome. We will never read the Bible the same again.
Now, we are hoping to travel to Hawaii to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. The first time we traveled to Hawaii was for our 25th Anniversary, and this seems only fitting that we go back to this wonderful part of our country to enjoy all the beauty to be found there, to celebrate this very special occasion in our life together.

My goal for 2010 was to be out of town during the Olympics and I went to Orlando with friends. It was lots of fun and I'll have to go back to see the new Harry Potter park.

Unfortunately, there is not much money for traveling this year. Short trips to Seattle will be the most common travel (at least the Cdn dollar is good!). I'd also like to see if there are any specials to New Orleans.

Take the family to Hawaii

My travel resolution for this year is to finally cash in my air miles for Best Western cards and use them on our Family vacation in Phoenix Arizona.

My son started playing hockey last year and we had the opportunity to travel all over our region for games and tournaments. It reminded me that we have so many wonderful and amazing areas within a days drive that our 2011 resolution as a family is to take a weekend trip at least every 2 months (hopefully we will make 6 trips this year) to a new town or distination that we have never been before that is no more than a 8 hr drive from our front door.

My son is already scouting the internet and travel books looking for fun new places. We are starting a trips next weekend taking a driving tour of the dam's along the Washington/Oregon coast. \

Hopefully this will be family memorie that we will all have forever and can look back on for years to come and remember the great times we had together.

My travel resolution for the year 2011 is to visit our daughter in St. Louis. MO.

Four years ago my wife and I planned a trip to Orlando to visit Disney. Four days before the tyrip I had the misfortune of falling on a patch of ice and damaging the ligaments in my left leg, to a point that I was akmost two months without walking and am still exercising to regain strength. Not easy at 68. However, this Feb. we have booked at the Best Western in Kissimee Fla. and are planning to drive down and spend Feb. in some heat. Looking forward to my first visit ti Disney and the many other attractions around the Orlando area.f

I would love to spend a nice family vacation in SC or Kentucky this year... My daughter is getting ready for college and this may be one of our last family vacations.

Nearly recovered from a foot injury, 2011 will be the year of making up for the travel we missed....relaxing in Anza Borrego, sailing in Belize, snow shoeing in Yosemite, hiking the alps or maybe Lofotens...or wherever we get to.

I ve stayed at Best Western Hotels oll over US and Italy. For my personal resolution is another trip to Europe. For my family its a trip to Disneyland with the grandkids.

I traveled with my kids last June and stayed in the Best Western's hotel in San Jose. Then, we traveled to Redwood and stayed in the Best Western's hotel for two night last summer again. I had very good experiences with Best Western's. Very clean, good quality, reasonable rate, and friendly employees.
This year, we plan to go on vacation again in April. I have been looking for hotels. Finally, my husband and I settle down and will stick with Best Western's hotels because of this positive experiences.

My travel resolution is to visit my best friend in California. Due to financial restrictions and major health problems on her part, we haven't been able to see each other since June 2009. I think this year is the time to fix that issue.

This Year will be the trip we have been planning for awhile. Ride the Pacific Coast Highway & visit Yosemite State Park on a motorcycle.Spend some time around California & neighboring states. We have talked about this for years & the time has come for my wife & I to have some quality time together. Can't wait!!!!

My 2011 Travel Resolution is to take a vacation with my family. Our daily lives are so busy with work and school, and we find it hard to all be together. The best memories we have made are on little road trips, and big journies we've made together as a family.

I have a daughter named Virginia and we plan to visit this state in 2011

2011 is the year where we follow through on a resolution and that is to take the family to Vancouver Island in July 2011, we have two weeks set aside for the vacation. My sister and her family, my parents and my aunt and uncle along with all 5 of us are going to Vancouver Island to see the many wonderful things that are there. We decided not to put this off as our 17 year old is excited about coming with us to see Vancouver Island and we can't miss that opportunity as this may be our last family vacation together, once he goes off to school we will not be able to go back in time. Everyone is excited about this trip.

i would like to tour the ozark area this coming fall and end up near north little rock, ark. for a visit with some old friends who live in that area.

We have experienced the BW at The Grand Canyon, Florida Keys and San Diego as well as numerous as I travel in sales in the Ontario marketplace. My next trip is this week to Sarnia and three nights at the BW newly renovated in this well known industrial town. Best Western is my first mode of accommodation when I travel and I love to build my points for free travel accommodation with my wife on vacations. We will be travelling to the Philippines in 2012 and will check out Best Western there also. This trip is not yet confirmed.

I have tried to make a point of visiting one large metropolitan city or resort every year. Last year was New Orleans, what a town... Not sure it's one I want to repeat but it was definitely and experience. This year it's Vegas. Garth Brooks, here I come!

My wife has always wanted to visit the wine country of Italy and we finally got our passports and are looking at various escorted tours to pick the best one for our taste. I resolve to make her dreams come true this year.

Last year our resolution was a "visit Family" year, we hoped to vist all of our close and extended family living in Canada - we were able to see all but one family member who was away on business. This year we plan to take one big trip to Australia for 6 to 7 weeks and our resolution is to see and do everything we can while we are there. I hope everyone gets a chance to see and do new things in this New Year.

I'd like to travel to China to see the terra cotta soldiers in Xi'an!

My Travel Resolution for this year is to travel more 'streamlined' and stress free, even if this costs more money, or adds a few more days to the holiday. I want more relaxing time and not so much hassle getting from A to B. Flights with no stop overs, etc...

my resolution is to work work work and save save save to take a dream trip to trace family roots in the sicily and malta area for 2 weeks hopefully around november.

As a full-time working mother of 4 children, my husband and I wish to travel more with our kids and spend less time @work. We have 3 vacations planned from March-July. We just spent a winter wknd in a cabin with the kids and enjoyed nature, sledding, hikes, and cross country skiing. Traveling with our family definitely makes days at work seem easier...:)

I would like to spend the summer driving across country with my 3 sons. We live in the Los Angeles area. We would drive along southern states towards Florida, up the east coast, and return to LA via Chicago, visiting family and friends we haven't seen in more than 10 years. I want my children to see as much of this wonderful country as possible! Of course, we would stay in as many of Best Western's Hotels as possible.

I want to make a trip from Saskatchewan over to Vancouver then down through Washington and see some friends there then northern California to see the Redwoods and some other friends in San Fran. then east to oklahoma and up through michigan along the great lakes and back to Saskatchewan

Our family visited Yellowstone and the Tetons last July 2010. Plan to visit Mount Rushmore in 2011.

I would like to be able to join my extended family on a spring vacation in Orlando. Many of them are teachers, and they like to spend spring break in a warmer climate away from home. The kids enjoy all there is to do in the area, the grown-ups just like to relax!

Last year I was able to travel to Fraser Park Colorado where I took an hour long hot air balloon ride around the Rockies. What a phenomenal experience floating on the wind currents and passing through snow covered mountains in June! This year my husband and I would like to visit Maho Bay--an eco camping resort- on St.John's Island in the Carribbean. It is a place we have visited before and had the times of our life there. Unfortunately the owners's lease is up and they cannot afford to purchase the property so in 2012 the campsite will cease to exist. We want to have the Maho Bay experience once more before it closes.

Jan. 24 11 Will be leaving North Bay Ontario on Feb.1 11 by car. Trip one way is 4600 km. Will spend at least 8 nights at various Best Westerns and we will return in the middle of march

I took a 34 day cross country trip from Lexington, Ky to Seattle, Wa last summer and had a blast. I stayed in many Best Western's a long the way.. I love to go!

We would like to visit my sister in BC again, or spend some time in the Rockies.

I started outrigger paddling in California in 2009 and last year I was able to participate in a race in New York. I had never been to New York before so it was fantastic to make the trip into a mini vacation that I was able to share with other members of my crew.
My travel resolution for this year is to attend an outrigger race in Hawaii, again combining this wonderful sport with a mini vacation with my paddlemates!

My husband an I celebrated our 25th anniversary and fulfilled a +20 year travel dream by driving cross country from London ON to Los Angeles,California in May of this past year(2010) We took 22 days and drove 10400 km to travel across the plains, though the desert, some old RT 66, Los Angeles, CA and Rt 1 up the coast to Monterrey in Northern CA., Grand Canyon, and the Colorado Rocky Mtns. We stayed in Best Western hotels almost every night and enjoyed the quality of stay we experienced!

The kids bought a family cruise so we could all spend some quality time together this year. My resolution is to take that cruise with a stopover in Florida. It's been many years since we did something as a family and the wife and I are looking forward to it.

Want to visit Hawaii this year. Am planning to go to Oahu or Kaui in September or December.

We are finally going to Newfoundland this year! It's been 3 years in the works. We will drive from Ottawa bringing our camping gear for the first part of our trip in Gros Mourn National Park, then head out on the road and see as much as we can in 2 weeks. Last year we went to two National Parks that we've wanted to visit for a long time, Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. Both were fun, interesting, and beautiful! We hope to visit another 1 or 2 of our awesome National Parks again this year.

I wanted to see one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. On a trip to Las Vegas last year, I took a side trip to the Grand Canyon.

I found the American Southwest to be so fascinating that I went back a few months later to visit New Mexico. I stayed in Albuquerque for a few days, which was very nice, and then went on to Santa Fe, which was even better!

I spent the last couple of years restoring a 1969 mustang and I am planning on driving it from calgary to california down the pacific coast highway then where-ever the wind (or my budget) will take me!! sounds like fun doesn't it! :o)

My travel resolution this year is to get to California and FINALLY meet my great niece Emma who will be 1 year old on Feb 6th! I haven't had the time or money to get out there & meet her yet, but I vow to do that this year!!

My travel resolution is to get over to England to see my son as I have not been over to see him in 3 years.

Last year I did not travel because I had to pay for my daughter's wedding. This year will be different. My wife and I will climb aboard our Harley Davidson motorcycle and ride from San Diego, Ca to Ann Arbor, Mi. and back. Our resolution is to stay at as many Best Western's as possible on our trip. They are very good to Harley riders and we love the clean rooms.

My 6 year old daughter Rylee just donated 10" of her hair to cancer and I would like to take her away for a couple nights during the March Break for some well deserved fun! So proud of her :)

I've must travel to see my sister in Anchorage, Alaska this year. It's embarrassing when I tell friends and co-workers that my sister has lived in Alaska for 6 years now and I have not taken her up on her offer to be my tour guide!

Finally got to Tennessee. Took my Mom to Memphis and had a great time. Loved going to Elvis's house (Graceland) & the Smoky Mtns., etc. It was beautiful. My next adventure will hopefully be at the Grand Canyon or any place USA. Love this country.

My 2011 travel resolution is to see the dc cherry blossoms with my dad this year...

My daughter and have always wanted to see Disneyland with Christmas Decorations and the Halloween decorations. In 2010 we accomplished both. It was so fun to see the park all decked out and different characters dressed according to the season. We received credit from Delta for giving up our seats and taking a later flight. This was enough to pay for airfare again to accomplish both goals and mark it off our Travel To-do lists. Now on to more travel check offs on our list.

My 2011 travel resolution is to book my travels farther in advance. I do not want to get stuck staying somewhere that is not first choice or 2nd choice, i would find myself feeling forced to stay somewhere that i wouldnt dream of staying but i already had tickets to an event nearby. Also not to stay at a hotel that does not offer some sort of shuttle or could refer me to a shuttle. when i am out of town i like to stay somewhere that also knows the surroundings.

I want to travel down to Lake Tahoe, and then make my way back up to Canada coming back up the coast through Oregon and Washington. And stay in as many best westerns as possible!

Once again planning on staying at Best Westerns on our college travels - in the next couple of months to continue looking at schools and then in the fall to visit my daughter wherever she ends up!

My goal is to make a trip up the west coast, east across Canada, down the east coast and west through the south. Stops as necessary or desired.

Just got back from visiting Idaho tosee my son on his B-Day. Stayed at BW and hope to many more times this year as we visit friends and family.

We own a business together so it is rare that we get to take a vacation much less together. We have had some touch times lately, but we have decided to stick it out, so a romantic vacation would be a blessing.

I plan on traveling to Yosemite and Lake Tahoe this summer! It is a wonderful spot to take visiting family members.

We are staying at your new hotel n miami on the 27th of Jan, can't wait. Then on a Caribean cruise and then back to miami to stay with BW again for three days then back to Vancouver Island. Ready for a much needed vacation it's been many many years....Now we will travel twice a year....

We finally made it Sturgis bike rally last year after saying we were going for the past 5 years. We did stay at Best Westerns along the way and our stay in Rapid City for the bike rally. We are again planning on going this year (2011) and will use Best Western again. The $250 travel card would help greatly.

We've already spent a night in a Best Western this year! I LOVE the beds! And we're planning on driving from Ontario to Florida this April, so we'll really need a place to sleep along the way, there and back again! And then we're off to London, Ontario for another week of curling, so we'll be needing another hotel then as well!

I have always wanted to see the history in Salem Mass with a side trip to the ocean for a whale watching tour. There's nothing better than a little history mixed with the great outdoors!

This year I planned on going to California and the travel gods are in my favour as I am off to Los Angeles very soon. I have always wanted to see the Pacific ocean.

I started outrigger paddling in California in 2009 and last year I was able to travel to New York for the first time to race there. What a great experience to paddle on the Hudson, past the Staten Island Ferry, the Statue of Liberty and under the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges! My fellow paddlers and I were able to race and share a mini vacation together that was just fabulous!
My travel resolution for this year is to race out of California again, and my destination this time is Hawaii! What a fantastic way to combine sport and travel; to be able to experience different cultures and be able to experience it with my fellow paddlemates!

We are planning on going to Carlsbad Caverns, N.M. March 2nd. Our 50th wedding anniversary is March 3, and we will be at the Best Western to celebrate. We love Best Western.

Our travel plans in 2010 were terrific. Punta Cana, DR and then onto Kona, HI. We included San Diego, CA, a cruise from Vancouver, BC before that, and then onto Ottawa, Ont. My resolution for Hawaii is to go during the summer months.

My resolution is to return to Hawaii for the 3rd time. I love the awesome snorkeling on the islands and absolutely fell in love with the sea turtles there. In my opinion, you haven't lived a full life until you have snorkeled with the sea turtles!

I stay alot at the Best Western, we are going to travel to Idaho for a week in July and will be staying with you. We love the breakfast thay haveand we stayed at the Moses Lake one and it iwas great. The one one the beach at seaside was a real treat, my grandaughter loved being at the beach and having such a nice hotel to come back too. We proabaly stay at least 4 to 5 times a year at your hotels but this year it will probably be more.

I accomplished my 2010 resolution by going to Brisbane Australia to watch my son graduate from medical school. Fortunately, it happened just before the floods reached a dangerous level,and we were able to continue our holiday in New Zealand visiting my sister in law and her family for Christmas. My son is now doing his residency in Townsville Australia so our 2011 travel resolution will be to visit him there and see the Great Barrier Reef.

My Parents & Sister All Ded Within A Year And A Half Of Each Other. So My Resolution Is To Live Each Day To The Fullest. And To Make My Sons As Happy As I Can. I Would Love To Take Them Back To Japan Where We Lived For A Year . My Sons Were Very Young And Don't Remember Living Their.

Today is my husband's birthday. It would be a great gift to go to Winnipeg to see our son Jim, his wife Michelle, and their two children, Ben and Kate. Since they moved last summer, we have not seen them. We miss them.

Taking a cruise for the first time! We will drive from Ontario to Port Canaveral, Florida. We are giving ourselves a week to get there. That's a lot of day trips along the way. When travelling in the U.S., I bring along the book "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives". We enjoy searching out unusual places.

This is retirement year! We plan to do up the East Coast in a casual, fun, relaxed manner. Planning on seeing the fall colors and whatever catches our fancy!

I discovered a couple of years ago that a good hotel can be a mini-vacation from the stress of life. This year as I travelled back and forth to help my mom with Alzheimers in another state, I took an extra day coming and going. I stayed at a hotel and I slept, shopped, sewed, read, watched TV, went for walks, etc. Those hotel rooms allowed me to get in the right frame of mind before dealing with my mom and they allowed me to de-stress before rejoining my family back home. I used to say I did not have the time or money to do such things but de-stressing is wonderful insurance against possible stressed induced illnesses. And they have a calming affect on me. I recently included my husband in these extra mini-vacations and he enjoyed them too. My resolution is to not wait until I can afford a lovely vacation to some special place far away but to take advantage of mini vacations throughout the journey of my life.

Last year I put my feet in the last of the 5 great lakes. This year I plan to travel and set foot in one more of the 8 states I have yet to visit in the contiguous USA. I also plan on visiting Quebec City, Quebec.

I ackomplished a travel resolution in 2010. My brother, sister and I were able to travel to the Mayan Riviera with my mom for her 60th birthday. She was surprised at the airport because she thought only my younger sister was able to make the trip. When my brother and I walked around the corner to the gate my mom broke into tears of shock and excitement. It was a wonderful trip and one to tick off the travel resolutions for 2010. Now for 2011 I would love to take mom to las vegas for her actual birthday date in March.

I WILL PLAN AND MAKE A TRIP TO IRELAND THIS YEAR. I AM A THIRD-GENERATION FAMILY MEMBER AND NONE OF US HAVE EVER TRAVELLED TO OUR BIRTH HOME. I THINK THIS IS NECESSARY.

I am resolving to take my wife on a Meditteranean cruise in the Fall and stay a few days in Athens.

My resolution was a return trip to Auburn California and your Best Western Golden Key for a second visit, which we are doing on February 11, 2011. Yea.

Our resolution this year is to take our 9-year-old daughter to see an important part of America. We are taking two weeks to tour South Dakota's Badlands and Custer State Park along with Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons. I say it is for her benefit, so she will appreciate what we have here in our great nation, but I am also really looking forward to seeing all the beautiful wilderness too.

I would like to visit as many parks and wildlife refuges on the East Coast so that I can get to know this part of the country better. I've already hit a few, but there are many more to go.

My travel resolution for 2011 is to drive across the U.S. again from Baltimore to Spokane to attend a convention. It would also be great if we could drive to Florida to see our family.

Our travel resolution is to do more of it! Four years ago we spent 2 weeks in Tennesse & South Carolina, and absolutely loved it there. We will be celebrating 33 years of marriage this Sept, and hope to celebrate it back in Tennesse & North Carolina.

I have always wanted to go to hawaii and swim with the turtles. In Nov. of 2010 I was able to go snorkeling with turtles. I was in the water for over an hour enjoying over one dozen different turtles in the area and lets not forget all the coral reef and all the fish, and an octopus that was found. It was truely a once in a lifetime experience. I cant wait until I get to travel this year and try and do better than that trip.

I run a 24 Hour Special Needs Childcare and a safehaus for Victims of Domestic Violence, so I don't get to travel 'away' very far, for very long, without much 'orchestration'. I have come to totally enjoy my weekend getaways, and find them very replenishing and invigorating. I live in the BEAUTIFUL Pacific Northwest, and my goal for 2011 is to visit as many Best Westerns within close proximity (Washington, Oregon, Idaho) as I possibly can. Just the thought of it excites me!!!!!

We took our first real family vacation last year and look forward to another one this year!

For my 50th birthday in December I swam with sea turtles, and saw humpback whales (including babies) breaching ... from our balcony in Maui!

Wife and I would like to travel Washington and Oregon with the grandchildren. Both states have wonderful sights and activities for all family members.

I am a life-long NJ resident. In 2010, for my 50th birthday, I had the pleasure of entertaining my best friend from Louisiana, here in the northeast, and we cherished every moment we shared. We visited Washington, DC, Arlington National Cemetery, the War Memorials, several Smithsonian Museums, and more. Her visit also included a jam-packed day trip to New York City, of which highlights included the Empire State Building, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Grand Central Station, the American Museum of Natural History, and Rockefeller Center. This year, I'd like to fly down to New Orleans where she could share with me the pre-Mardi Gras parades & festivities in her hometown of Houma. She & her family ride a float in one of their biggest parades and have a non-stop, fun-filled day from the time the sun rises! I'd love to join her.

Our travel resolution is to take advantage of the GREAT country we live in. There are so many wonderful things to see and do that we have never taken advantage of. We really hope to give our kids great learning opportunities by spending some time each year driving to a great new destination as well as having some awesome family bonding time! We are lucky enough that our kids are still young enough to want to go anywhere we do and we want to spend quality time with them and encourage the relationships we have with them now to grow.

From MPH. After catering to tourist and business, military, and government personnel, I am going to RETIRE after 45 years and have other people cater to me.Cruise in February to the Bahama's and cruise to Alaska in the summer. I definately need some "R&R", looking forward to retiring.

Our travel resolution is to visit my sister and family in Minnesota this year. She only found us a little over 5 years ago after having searched for us for 25 years. Before that we never knew she even existed. With her came a wonderful brother-in-law and three grown nephews and their families. Since we are now in our 60's, we have a short time to make a lifetime of memories. We want to spend as much time as possible with them. So our travel resolution is to definitely visit with them...as often as possible.

I would love to take a trip across country with my daughter and husband, this has always been a dream. I would like to camp along the way and see the grand canyon and visit my cousin who lives in North Dakota. Next to go into Washington State and down the coast of California and into New Mexico.

We have been retired for 6 years and have been to England, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Hawaii and many other places in the US and Canada. But, we have never travelled across this wonderful country that we live in. This year will be our 40th wedding anniversary so we have made travel in Canada, especially the Atlantic provinces, our priority.

Even though it's fun taking trips as empty-nesters, my 2011 travel resolution is for my husband and I to have family vacation with our daughters. Any destination would be enjoyable, as long as we're all together.

My travel resolution for 2011 is to take time off work to relax. To take time to visit the Western States and enjoy the scenery and do some long overdue sightseeing. There is so much to see on the North American Continent, why go overseas!

my husband and i want to stay @ bestwestern in every state. he has been staying @ bestwesterns since 1962 on the way to the seatle worlds fair from oklahoma.

I achieved a long overdue travel resolution last year. I was able to drive on a road trip with my mom and two of my teenage children through Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Illinois on a very fun road trip that led us to the homes of cousins and aunts and uncles that we have not seen from 14 to 25 years. We were able to see historic sights, monuments, old friends and family along the way. I was very glad that I made the trip, and it made me realize that I need to get out more and visit more of the US. It is beautiful, and a personal visit with distant relatives and friends is so much better than a long distance one online. Road trips with family that I see every day help us to bond at a deeper level, too. Good times.

I am planning on a trip to Montana in July, and that gift card would come in handy. My sister and I are planning this trip to get some R&R from all the stress of her treatments from cancer. We have always wanted to travel to the West since we live in the Southeast. :) Pick me, please, please, pick my entry.

This past year my wife and I resolved to see more of our own state of Idaho as it seems so many of our vacations take us to other parts of the USA, Canada, or the rest of the World. I'm happy to say we accomplished our resolution as we made four different road trips of 3-4 days each throughout different parts of our state. We enjoyed it so much we're even considering duplicating and/or expanding on some of these same trips this year. Also happy to say we utilized Best Western for the majority of our stays during our travel.

I have always wanted to see San Francisco and this year I plan to go. I understand there is a Best Western in Fisherman's Wharf. Since money is tight I will be able to walk to many of the sights I want to see from there reducing transportation costs. I am finally healthy enough to be able to walk the distances. 2011...we plan a big road trip in Canada and Eastern USA. Many kilometers to drive and many pictures to take. After, that I will make a book. Resolution ; always try to find a new place to visit every year. It is not very difficult.

Our travel resolution is to visit close friends in Alberta this summer. Time passes so quickly, we need to take the time to spend with those who are important to us.

Most of my travels are for business and the effort and outcome feed my brain cells and, of course, my wallet. Still, I need to FIRMLY resolve this year, to tack on a day or two after I've finished my assignment, and take advantage of where I am and what's going on at that particular time and place. So, additionally, I resolve to feed my heart and soul, too, by being more flexible in my travels and enjoying "the journey"!

It took a French tour guide in Colmar, France who relayed the beauty of Big Sky Montana and Colorado to inspire me to start seeing the wonders of the United States. There really is no place like home!

This past year my wife and I resolved to see more of our own state of Idaho through three to four day road trips throughout the summer. I'm happy to say we accomplished our resolution taking four different trips to different parts of our state each time. We enjoyed it so much we're considering duplicating and/or expanding our efforts this year.

We did not get to take a real family vacation last year so it would be nice to resolve to go somewhere memorable with the kids.
Finances will dictate where we go but we will resolve to go somewhere for at least 4-5 nights away from home.

My son is home right now and getting ready to delpoy to Afghanistan. He has a few weeks left and my only wish for travel this year is to be able to afford to hop on a plane when he calls to say he is leaving in a few days and go to him. Just to spend time with him before he leaves for over a year. To take with me my husband and daughter. We have always been a close family and growing up he had a lot of problems and was on several medications. For him to commit to this is a major step in his life and we are all so proud of him. He went from caring about nothing but himself to being a proud soldier and wanting to protect this great country we live in.

My 2011resolution is to take my fiance to Chicago so we'd spend more time with my family relatives before and after the baby is born. And of course, I must say I'd take him to different places the city has to offer! He loves adventures as much as I do.

A travel resoultion that I accomplished in 2010 was to cruise with my family. Will do it again some time.

I resolve to visit my daughter in Europe during her study abroad.

I have a goal to visit Alaska. Probably this summer, $$ depending. Not necessarily a cruise up the inside passage that would still be nice. Somehow I want to find myself able to photograph various wildlife, eagles, bears, visit the varoius tourista towns...bring something inuit home... mainly photograph anything that moves, growls, flaps wings, or makes a big splash.

I plan to travel across the U.S.A. from Maine to California with 12 friends on motorcycles this May. We plan to make several stops to see this beautiful country. We traveled a few years ago to Montana from Maine and said our next trip would be all the way to California and now we are doing it!

I would make a resolution to do a family trip to Florida. It would be cool to take the family to Disneyworld. I stayed in a Best western for many of our family vacations.

Never been to Taste of Chicago! I resolve to go in 2011!

Over the years, I have been to most of the states in the US. My resolution is to expose my young nieces to as many of the beautiful places as I can even though we live 1600 miles apart. This summer I am taking them to Southern California (Del Mar Best Western) so they can experience the Pacific Coast and all the wonderful attractions in the area.

Our travel resolution this year is to ski as many resorts as we can including at least one we haven't skied before

I have goal to visit Anaheim, Califonia this year to attend a church conference and visit Disney Land.

We had a girlfriends getaway weekend in 2010. We all enjoyed ourselves and are planning another getaway in 2011!!! At 60+ we still ROCK!!!! (maybe a tad slower but we still enjoy ourselves)

On July 1st my husband and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversay and would like to make a trip to Florida. We aren't sure where we would like to go, but would like to visit Florida

My travel resolution for 2011 is to save enough money to take 3 trips this year. One to Seatle, WA , Baltimore, MD , and Alexandria, Virginia.

Plan to go to Glacier National Park before all the glaciers disappear. My husband has been there and says this is one of the most beautiful places. Can't wait to stay in one of the historic lodges.

I am going to make certain that my husband's birthday out does the 60th birthday trip he gave me last year (12 days in Magical Ireland) His dream is New Zealand! 6 weeks on two islands - it will be fabulous sun, fun, fjords, mountains, the Ring, wine tasting, cruises and all! Happy Birthday Honey!

My husband (72) & I (67) visited New Mexico for the 1st time for both of us last year -- and added on Colorado & South Dakota (a new State for me). We have fun wherever we go and we are thankful to be able to travel and see new things. He retired at 70 (had a Heart Attack & Cardiac Arrest & 6 bypasses 11 years ago and we feel that everyday is a day we might not have had) . So, we want to do all we can in the time we have.

Last summer we did a fabulous mc trip to southern france, sétè and up via Normandie to assen Holland. this year we´re planning a trip down to Croatia via auswitch by mc of course.

My travel resolution is to go to Manila, Philippines in 2011 to visit family, and soak up a lot of sun.

My New Year resolution is to save enough money to travel up & down the western coast & visit our children & grandchildren in Washington state for the summer.

My resolution is not for myself but for my daughter,my son moved to Alberta 3 years ago and would like to have her visit him and family.Would also like to pay them an overnight stay at the Best Western in Banff.They should move back this summer but would like to have her see the beautiful rocky mountains.........

Included in my resolution for 2011 are changes to my financial plan that involve saving money and vacation time for various travel around North America and the world. 2011 promises to be a fantastic year!!

My resolution is to plan more travel with our grandchildren. Last summer we took 4 of them on a trip to Washington, DC; Philadelphia, PA; the Amish areas near Lancaster, PA; and Thomas Jefferson's home at Monticello, VA. Everyone enjoyed the trip and there were so many things we all learned!

My 2011 Travel Resoultion is to visit Seattle and have a seafood dinner at a nice waterfront restaurant for my wife's birthday in June.

Ohio in June and Hawaii in Oct. That's it for this coming year.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary this year. We are planning to take our "second honeymoon" trip to Maui with our daughters, sons-in-law and grandsons. Beach, sun, sand and family to help celebrate...what could be better!

Last year we were able to take two family vacations to Kentucky and my husband and I were also lucky enough to take some time for ourselves in Las Vegas! This year I think we will take more small family vacations, maybe travel to areas of Oklahoma that we have never been before!

My travel resolution is to take my four kids to see Mount Rushmore this Summer, the rooms are all ready booked. As a child my fondest memories are of our family trips, I can still recall what the Best Western looked like in Carlsbad, New Mexico as a 10 year old and I can tell you it looked very similar last Summer when I took my family there. Memories are what we build to gether as families, my kids are always looking for the Big Blue sign when we get to the town or city that we are planning on visiting. As an avid Best Western user I can tell you that these travels together are great as every property is unique, the sign may be the same, however the Vacation starts over again when we get out of the van at each Best Western we visit.

In 2010 I resolved to finally achieve Star Alliance Gold status to make traveling in 2011 more convenient. I finally accomplished that in November, 2010.

I promised myself and my son years ago that I would love to take him one day to swim with the dolphins! I think now he is the perfect age to take him along with his brother and sister this summer! I hope I can keep my promise to him! I love them very much!

My wife and I finally got to complete in 2010 a life-long dream vacation to Greece and the Greek Islands in particular. Part of the adventure was by land to see many ancient sites and part of it was by sea through the islands during late July in 100 degree temperatures. Even at our ages we enjoyed it all and plan in 2011 to see the pyramids in Egypt.

In June 2011, 6 of us are flying to Vancouver and driving back through the mountains to Calgary. I know it will be a great trip.

My wife will have her bbbbbbbbbbbbig 50 birthday on 29 January and I want to surprise her with a nice get away to a nice sandy beach.

My resolution for this year is to finally go on a cruise of the Mediteranean.

I would really love to get an RV and just drive to the Grand canyon! This has always been a dream of mine to do! It just seems like something always got in the way of that, Kids, work, everything! I want so bad to go there and stop and see everything along the way! hence wanting the RV for the trip! This to me sounds so exciting! I've never been anyplace! and now that I'm retired and my kids are grown? I want to go! It would be a dream come true for me.

I am going to try and not miss so much work this year.

My wife will celebrate her big 50 birthday on 29 January and I want to surprise her with a nice getaway to a sunny beach.

My travel resolution this year is to get to Florida. Hopefully I'll see a lot of the tourist sights, have great weather at the beach there and checkout if there might be a space shuttle event happening as that would make it a once in a lifetime event!! Hope so.

Our dream vacation this year wil be to fly to Hamburg, Germany and cycle along the Elbe over a two week period to Dresden. Then take a train to Prague, Czech Republic and cycle back to Leipzig via Dreden. That wil take another week. Loaded toring is always fun when you are in Bicycle Heaven, completely free of automobile traffic. Good accomodation and restaurants along the way.

This last summer my 14 year-old son made the All Stars Baseball team and they were in the playoffs in Coos Bay, Oregon. I was chose to looki up play to stay as I am can't camp and have oxygen and a CPAP so I searched Best Western meet the needs and close to the Ball Park. I signed up for the rewards program and told other parents on the team where to go that was close to Clyde's Field and that had a indoor pool, hot tub, microwave, refrigerator and a morning brunch for those hungry boys.
Was very impressed as this turned out to be our vacation of the year and my sister and her family also came and got rooms too as her son was on leave for a few days from the Army. We stayed four days and even though we were at the baseball a lot it was so nice coming back to the motel to rest, I could use my wireless laptop as they have free internet and pay bills etc.
This was the first time all of us have gotten together with family and friends and combined this baseball tournament even though we did not come in first place it didn't matter we had fun. Our last day we went to the beach and enjoyed a beautiful sunny day with family and friends. We had 4 rooms and next time I know I can bring my dog if I need too but unfortunately they are not allowed at the baseball park, but we will go back and stay again as they made our stay very enjoyable. Thanks Best Western so the memories and a vacation for us all. My new travel detestation for 2011 will be Seattle maybe this summer for visit my Best Friend! Unless we on the road again as a winning team who knows? But I will find a Best Western for use they love our pets!

My husband and I haved resolved to make this year the year to take a cruise around Australia, then travel to New Zealand to visit with friends we haven't seen for years. We love both of these countries so we are planning to combine the long distance travel from our North American home with lots of visiting and exploring new things.

To visit my son in his new city Salt lake City ,Utah and ski with him and also to make a cross country trip out there with my daughter in the early summer to see national parks on the way!

I didn't really travel anywhere significant in 2010, but in 2011 I am hoping to travel to Boston to see some baseball games at Fenway Park. I might also try and sneak in a trip to Las Vegas this summer. If I can make both these trips happen, it would be a pretty great year.

My resolution this year is to travel to different places in Atlantic Canada and have more outdoor adventures with my friends. 2011 is going to be different and active for my friends and I.

Back to Vegas. This time without the snow. Who would believe snowballs in the desert. Like to see the Grand Canyon this time. Too cold on the last trip even for a Maritimer

My travel Resuolution is: My son and I are hoping to take a trip through Arizona and New Mexico this summer, visiting historic sites and attending a Family Renunion in White Oaks, NM.

I have resolved to spend more time at the beach this year probably in Florida. Since we like Florida's hot weather, the further south the better,but Daytona Beach is our favorite.

My resolution would be to make a trip to the interior of Alaska this spring or summer. We took a cruise years ago on the coastal passage and enjoyed it so much!

My 2011 resolution is to travel to Italy.

I have resolved to visit Canada,,,,Jasper National Park and Lake Louise . It is our 25 wedding anniversary and we have been planning a motoring trip through Yellowston and Glacier National parks on the way to Canada.

I'm looking forward to travel for pleasure this year, at least 2 trips to mountain locations. Last year all travel was business, need to chage that this year.

Travel to Newport Beach, Orange County and take the grandchildren to all the wonderful places to have fun in the California sun.

I live in WV and have been taking online classes since 2007 for my Master in Education degree from Colorado State University. My travel resolution this year is to fly to Colorado with my husband in May so I can participate in the graduation ceremony. Hooray!

I will make a trip to desert this year.

Met for the first time in my life in 2008 and 2009 my brothers and sisters and I am 76 years old. I wish to see them again in the western U.S. and western Canada as the greeted me as their sister although they never knew I existed.

Been promising myself for years I would dirve interstate 90 from its beginning in Boston to where it deadends in Seattle. Finally did it this last fall. Took 6 weeks but the site seeing was great. Upstate New York and the vineyards of the Finger Lakes, Chicago, Badlands National Park, Mammoth Site in South Dakota, Space Needle in Seattle, Glacier National Park, Olympic National Park with Mt Ranier and St. Helens, Columbia river George, Custer Battle Field at Little Big Horn, and on. Trip of a lifetime everyone should try.

my resolution for this year is to finally go to see my best friend that I haven't seeing in 7 years and she lives in Missouri, that would be the best thing that I could do this year, to get to see her, her husband and her baby boy. take a trip with my boyfriend to California so he can finally meet my family and we can spend sometime together. best western is the best hotel I have ever stay at, thank you all.

2010 was a fantastic year...I took my kids to Costa Rica for 2 months, ran a 1/2 marathon for the Canadian Diabetes Association in Brazil and spent a few days in Vegas with some girlfriends.

I know that this year, I will continue on the adventures. I think this time will be several road trips to visit friends.

My husband and I both grew up in large families that could not afford to take vacations. When our girls were young, we always saved all year, to take our three girls on trips, especially to National Parks. Never anything extravagant. We are both nearing retirement age, but after 20 years, I lost my job last May.
We would dearly love to go to Alaska someday. Maybe we can make it in 2011.

I would like to make it to a Best Western in another country this year.

My mother was of Irish descent and had always wanted to go to Ireland to kiss the Blarney Stone. Sadly she passed away from cancer before she had an opportunity to travel. In 2010 I was able to go to Ireland for an entire month and was successful in my goal to climb the tower, lean out backwards over the top, and kiss the Blarney Stone for my mother!

Our vacation this summer involves starting from Hamburg, where we have a Best Western Hotel booked for 2 nights. A gift card of 250 dollars would be an excellent start for our trip. We plan to ride from Hamburg to Dresden, Germany over a 2 week period, taking a rest in Magdeburg, Germany. From Dresden we will take a train to Prague, Czech republic and ride our bicycles to Leipzig via Dresden over a week. Hope to have good weather and not too much gravel.

My 2011 resolution is to travel to Alaska to explore both the land and water.

My goal last year was to go to Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.

My new year wish is to visit my family in India, and while i'm there, stay at one of the Best Western hotels in India. I have stayed at Best Westen in the US quite often but never in India.

I would like to travel tosee my sister in Texas. It's been about 7years. Due to work, kids,living far away and family illness, we haven't connected other than by email, letters or phone. We share so much on the phone but to be with her and just sit and laugh over some food from Olive Garden (her favorite) well that would be the best. I have to try my best to make this happen. Persoanlly I just want a hug =)

My travel resolution for 2011 is to travel to the Ukraine to check out my family genealogy.

Traveling the roads is the best way to go....You see so much more, than by flying. We hope to get to NC , traveling from Louisiana, through Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. Also to California,via Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona . Finishing up with going through Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, and Illinois on our way to Wisconsin, Iowa, and Missouri...There is so much to see in the US.....and since we are in our 70's we need to see as much as we can, while we are still able to travel here there and everywhere.

I like the idea of a travel resolution; it keeps me ejoyful through the year! My travel resolution for 2011 is to take my family to New York City. Also, Miami, Florida and Boston, Mass. We're been wanting to go to New York for yeeeaaars and I would really want this year to be the one.

A long time friend of mine moved to Maine with her husband several years ago, and I have been promising her that I would make the trip to see her just about every year since then. However, I have yet to make it! This is the year, though, and I have gotten a week off in August just to make the trip!

I made it to the Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany. It was fantastic.

We would like to go back to Europe in 2011 & travel on our own. We have been there on a tour & it was great, but it would be interesting to meet the people & see the country on our own.

Last year I was surfing Ebay and I saw a Nissan Xterra up for bid. On an impulse I bid on it, a very low bid, and I will be danged if I didn't win it! I am a 58 year old grandmother with a 4 wheel drive and I intend to use it. I have outfitted the back to flip down the seats and a SUV air mattress fits right in. I have my kayak on the top and assorted camping equipment and I am ready to go in the spring. I hope to travel down the coast of Florida and perhaps hope a sailboat in the Keys for a jaunt around some islands.Hopefully I will camp in my X one night and hotel it up the second night as long as I am on the road. I hope to meet many interesting people on my travels and make many new friends. I can't wait to get on the hiway and use my Best Western card! Next year, the Pacific North West!

My travel resolution is to see fewer places more thoroughly on one trip, rather than flying through a lot of places in a hurry!

Because I feel that travel is one of the best ways to educate children, we plan to take our six year old out of state every year. Our daughter will fly for the first time soon, but in the meantime, we will drive to Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Making memories and learning about various regions is a wonderful to expand knowledge!

I'd like to gain Best Western elite status by staying enough times at my favorite BW property in Nederland, Colorado!

We believe that travel is a big part of expanding a child's education, so we plan to take our six year old out of state every year. Our daughter will fly for the first time soon, but in the meantime, we will drive to Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. In fact, for her seventh birthday, our daughter requests returning to Navarre Beach. Making memories is a wonderful way to enrich one's knowledge, and we look forward to family travel time for many years to come.

Finally managed to make it to Moad Utah in 2010 for an absolutely wonderful stay. Visited Arches National Monument and was awestruck. Drove through Bonneville Salt Flats area, enjoyed Boise on the way back, and of course the High Desert in Oregon. And of course we stayed in BW's all the way! Diamond Elite baby! :-)

We are grandparents and would love to return to Disney World with our little grand children and their mother.....who lost her husband 2 years ago.

We're going to do a "Christy Long" (comment January 18) and do a Pacific Northwest tour in September, including Mt. Lassen (which we missed in April 1990 due to snow), Dunsmuir/Mt. Shasta, Grants Pass, visiting cousins in Portland, and then down the coast through the redwood empire. Overnight stops are planned for towns with a Best Western, of course!

My last year resolution was to visit LA, San Diego and drive around beautiful Oregon Coast, as well as to explore the ancient part of our planet - Israel, and see pyramids of Egypt! Luckily, my husband and I were able to enjoy all of the above, except for Egypt! So, Egypt stays on our "to visit" list! This year we are hoping to fly over to Florida and hopefully see New York and San Francisco, before we expend our family!!!

My 2011 travel resolution is to take my partner to the Great Lakes of Canada and Niagara Falls. To satisfy the wanderlust - Niagara is better than Viagra!

This year my travel resolution is to add one week to the bike trip. Last year I made the Diamond Elite Level and enjoyed the nights I could with BW. The only way to travel.

I want to visit Georgia this year to research my family history. I would love to see where my great great grandparents lived and maybe find some long lost relatives along the way.

I was able to travel to Barcelona and stay at the Best Western near the airport and I hope to be back this year!

I resolve to take my wife to Florida for a vacation. She has been disabled for a few years now and we had to curb our travel together as she had doctors appointments constantly, so even though I make my living traveling natonwide climbing flagpoles to repair and paint I have had to go alone and she has been stuck at home. We need a short vacation and need it soon. It was 30 below zero yesterday. We will go to Florida soon, for a vacation. not as polepainter.com

i have wanted to visit my relatives in co, hi, nj and fl, and have made the resolution every year. but something always comes up and i never get to go. i'd really love to visit my cousins this year.

My travel goal this year is to earn enough points/miles to get a free ticket to Europe, especially Italy, in 2012 for an international convention I plan to attend.

I resolve to never compromise to save a dollar! Best Western is quality I can count on!

Last year we extended one of our many sports trips with our kids into a great vacation in Oregon, staying at BW all the way.

This year, I would like to do the same. A couple of the destinations it looks like the kids are heading to are Tuscon, Arizona and Calgary, Alberta.

Since sports travel usually involves not much more than sleeping and breakfast at the hotel, it was wonderful to relax, enjoy the amenities and see the sights in the areas we visit by staying a couple of extra days!

Plus, it would be extra great to sneak away with my husband for an adults-only weekend ;o)!

Every 4 to 5 weeks for 5 years I have traveled to Framingham to be with my children. BW knows me almost like family. I use rewards to take my kids somewhere every year!

My travel goal last year was to go see Mesa Verde National Park and other sites in that region. We did it and enjoyed BW all the way! This year we will go to Washinton D.C. and surrounding areas. Super excited!!

In 2010, we made a trip to Western Colorado. It was a beautiful time and we enjoyed staying in the Best Western Durango

We will be moving to Florida from California, and staying at Best Westerns the whole way there.

My husband and I have been enjoying touring Washington, Oregon and California. We especially enjoyed our stay at Stevenson Manor in Calistoga. It had everything we needed and more. The staff were very accommodating and informative. We enjoyed a limo wine tour and cycling in beautiful weather when we weren't in the pool, sauna or steam room. We are looking forward to another trip in 2011.

I really need to start doing the traveling I haven't been doing in the last 10 years. Especially to the desert southwest high country.

My husband and I finally made it to Europe this past summer. After going on a 21 whirlwind tour of 10 countries, we definitely got the travel bug and want to go back. This Feb. we'd like to visit Vancouver and this contest could make that dream come true. Although it's great visiting foreign lands, I think it's important to see all the parts of Canada first!

My New Years resolution is to travel more with my family. I am on the road 40 weeks a year for business and nothing personal and it stinks. My family deserves better and taking them away to an exotic location is a resolution I am going to keep. Family and health must come first.

We stayed at your Best Western Desert Inn, West Yellowstone, MT for two nights on Jan. 20-22nd, 2011. Did the Snowcoach Tour through the park. Great fun time. We enjoyed our stay w/you. I resolve to get my four children to join the wife and I for a beach vacation in SC or FL this summer.

My travel resolution is to have a true vacation with my sister. We've lost all immediate members of our family in the past 10 years and need to get away from everybody except us. It would be nice to just have some fun together for a short time. To actually enjoy a vacation without making sure everybody else had a good time before thinking about ourselves. I know that's selfish but I can't help it. I think we deserve it.
I'm doing my best to have that happen. And if it doesn't then my back-up resolution would be to spend Christmas with her. We've not been together for Christmas in decades.
Either way, spending time with her is my main travel resolution :)

My travel resolution for this year is to visit at least one state I've never been to which would help me in my long term goal of going to all 50 states.

My Travel Resolution is to take the time to get the address on my passport updated.

My resolution is to get to Salt Lake City and spend a full week at the Family Search Library, researching my genealogy.

My husband and I attend a lot of classic car shows during the spring/summer. So, 2011 will be a repeat of 2010 with numerous stays at Best Western within California. We're looking forward to it!

I have spent a portion of my life at sea. Another portion going north fighting my way through droves of "snow birds" heading either to Arizona, California, Florida or Texas. Somewhere a switch was thrown in my head and my wife and I are resolving to both take a cruise and go to Arizona this year. Its partially the adventure but stronger is the lure of friends and relatives who are in these locations that draw us in those directions.

My husband and I were very fortunate with our travel plans last year. We were able to take a trip to Venice, Italy and from there embark on a cruise to the Holy Land. It was a marvelous trip! It was an experience we'll never forget. After being there, our Church affiliation has so much more meaning to us.
We have been truly blessed.

Decided to explore southern Texas this year. Want to see how the climate is in the winter compared to Arizona, which has been a frequent destination for us.

In 2011 I would like to visit Washington, D.C. since I haven't been there in many years( since I was a young girl). I would especially like to revisit the Smithsonian Museum and the Jefferson Monument, The Smithsonian because I found it very interesting all those years ago and the Jefferson Monument because my daughter went to the University of Virginia (Mr.Jefferson's University), and I have never been to the Jefferson Monument. Also, this is a trip I could take by car and save some money on airfare.

We hope to visit grandchildren in Ontario in the fall if health allows.

I have a 45 yr. class reunion to go to in Washington State...we live in Indiana, and we are considering taking the train... Gorgeous country between here and there, and we thought it would be a new adventure to go by train instead of plane!

I'd like to visit Alaska again, Tennesse (Graceland), South/North Dakota.

I have spent a portion of my life at sea. Another fighting my way north through hordes of "snow birds" heading to Arizona, California, Florida or Texas. It was in my mind to never consider traveling by ship or to the south in the Winter. A switch has been thrown in my head and my wife and I are resolving to do both this year. It is not the weather or the seaborne adventure that is such a draw, even thought that figures in. We have relatives and friends in the South and in Europe that these trips will permit us to visit.

I have longed to compete in a National Field Trial Championship with my English Setters. 2011 the championship is being held in Washington State. In order to get from Dallas it will be a long drive.....I always try to choose safe, clean, and best value hotels! .I wold be getting to see a different part of the US than I've ever seen and stay at my favorite hotel chain while travelling there and back home. It will be the longest trip yet we've made!

My new year's travel resolution is to visit Key West with my best friends Clarence and Lisa and my husband. We have visited a couple of times, but would like to check out the restaurants and night life without the kids this time :)

Since my dad died in 1999, I have taken my mother to visit family in South Carolina once a year. She is getting older and won't have many more trips. I would like to take her to visit family twice this year--once on spring break and once later in the summer.

My daughter is planning a beach wedding in Florida later this year and I desparately need to lose weight...so no more sugar and no more starch...wish me luck!!!

I hope to go back to Mexico Beach, FL for a week in the summer with all the kids, like we did when they were younger. We would go with another family and it was a blast. Maybe the trip would be like a last vacation together.

Our plans for travelling in the tear 2011 is to take a motorcyle ride down to Chicago starting point to follow the old Route 66 all the way to LA. Something we have always wanted to do.

My resolution is to visit my aunt in Washington DC. I have been wanting to visit for a while now. I plan on making 2011 the year to make that trip.

My New Year resolutionis is to travel to Germany with my husband to visit our son who is attending a University in Berlin for a year. We also want to see and discover as much as possible while we are there, most of all I want to see my son.

My resolution is to just enjoy each of the separate trips that are planned.

Going to TX to see my daughter graduate from the Air Force Basic Military Training. Then going to TN for a dog show followed by a huge dog show in MI again followed by a dog show we are putting on in PA. Then that will be followed by our third cruise out of FL. Have already booked one of the hotels but are still studying the other areas for where to stay.

This year is one journey after another....

I am 72 years old, still working, and had planned to go to St. Petersburg, Russia, but have decided to instead to visit cities in the US this year and stay at Best Western Hotels.

Best Western Hotels are a very good value for my money.

Last year we had a family visit in Thailand and enjoyed staying at a Best Western in Phuket. Terrific. This year we will be looking for a BW in San Diego.

My wife and I have a lifetime resolution to visit all of countries national parks. In 2011 we hope to cross a few more names off of our lifelist. Best Westerns are

My travel resolution for 2011 is to go to Hawaii and visit my son who is in the Navy.......While there, I plan to visit the Arizona Memorial and the sites around Pearl Harbor as well as the other wonderful islands of the area. So much history and beauty there.........

This year's travel resolution is to go to San Francisco to see my neice, and then to save money for the big trip to Ireland/Scotland/England next year !

I have two travel resolutions for 2011 -- two things to cross off my bucket list. One is to see the Great Wall of China. The other is to see the Grand Canyon in Arizona. I been trying to get to both places for the past four years, but somehting comes up each year to stop me. 2011 is now my target year!

Our travel resolution is to be packed and ready to go and then when we get the urge to follow that urge and go! My husband was recently diagnosed with an illness that will greatly limit his ability to travel in the future therefore our new motto is "Why wait for Spring -- do it now." We plan on doing as much travelling as possible-- whenever possible.

Because my husband has been recently diagnosed with a disease -- we have a new resolution --"Why wait until we can retire -- do it now!" Our bags are packed and ready to go whenever we have a whim and we will follow our whims now and not wait until the time is right. Travelling is a high priority for us now more than ever.

My travel resolution for 2011 is to make a in-town getaway with my husband. With grandma on-hand to babysit, we plan to take the night off, book a hotel downtown and enjoy a grown-up night out: no pyjama tag, no teeth-brushing tussles, no 6 a.m. wake-up call. We talked about it last year but just didn't get around to it. 2011 is the year we make it happen!

In 2011 we plan on visiting the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands and Mesa Verde National Parks.

My husband and I finally took our long awaited trip to Italy in 2010, where we both have family roots. We visited the tiny town, Millesimo, where my Father-in-Law was born almost 100 years ago. We also visited the church where my husband's Grandparents were married. It was very large and very beautiful. Quite a surprise for such a small town. After that we checked into the Best Western Hotel Laurin (in Santa Margherita near Portofino) and what a delightful place. The hotel was right across the street from the ocean and the room had a balcony with a table and chairs. If only the weather was better we would have loved to sit out there and watch the wharf activity. We're celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this year. Hmmmm, I wonder where we'll go?

My travel resolution is to search out art schools for my daughter. We will be checking out Indianapolis in January, Savannah, GA in March and Boston vicinity in June. Then we will try to sneak in a couple weeks in Colorado for an art workshop. Whew!! and she isn't even in college yet. Help me out here!!

I would like to travel further west since I have never been further than Dallas. I would love to do more international travel.

My resolution is just to get away and relax.

I'd love to visit Spain and travel to all the amazing cities there:Barcelona, Madrid, the wall city of Avila and Toledo, Jerez de la frontera, and see a bullfight and a Flamenco Show and visit all the amazing Cathedrals and see all the Roman ruins and awesome castles especially the Alhambra.

My 2011 travel resolution is to spend time with my grandsons. We live in California; they live in Louisiana. We only get to see them once a year. I want to be the kind of grandma who is part of her grandchildren's lives; it's hard to do that long-distance. Bradley is five, and he wants to go to the Children's Museum in Lafayette again. David is two; I think he will remember us this year.

My goal is to travel at least one vacation each month! That was my Dad's goal and since he has passed away, I feel the necessity to honor that in his behalf. My husband and I began 2011 at the Sea of Galilee in Israel with my mother. Our February trip will take us to Buenos Aires and a cruise from there to Antarctica! I do hope to waddle witht he penguins! God has created this great big beautiful world and I want to see as much of it as He allows!

Our son graduated from college last August. We stayed at the Best Western Inn at Longwood in Boston for a few days to attend his graduation. Our son continued in college and will hopefully graduate in May with his Masters degree. We were impressed with the hotel and hope to stay there again when we go in May. We are very proud of him and looking forward to visiting Boston again.

We have raised 11 children in our lifetime and most vacations were "family" oriented. Now in our "more mature" years (I am 70 and he is 80) my husband and I want to travel as much as we can while we are still physically able. With all of our children; plus 40 grandchildren we have many options if we want to visit family but truthfully it would be wonderful if "just the two of us" could visit some historic places here in the good old USA.

My resolution is to visit Alaska this year, which will be my 50th state. It's been several years since my 49th state and Alaska hasn't happened by chance so it's time to make it a resolution.

My resolution is to have a family trip to New York City. Including me, that is 9 members. Haven't had a family trip since 1999! I'm graduating from college this May so it would be a great gift if my entire family could come to New York City and see me graduate.

In 2010 we adopted our second child from the same birth mom in TX and we will be going back in 2011 to finalize the adoption. We stayed at several Best Western's in TX the staff are so nice and the breakfast waffles are the best . We would love to return in the furture to reunited with there birth mom and her son. We truly are blessed.

My new years resolution is to travel more in 2011. To make things easier Best Western Hotels are everywhere, so you can be in the best spots and still have a great room. My travel resolution for this year is to take my 82 year old Dad fly fishing some time this summer.

We have visited a number of destinations and done many road trips across North America, but this year we would like to visit Hawaii.

Last summer our family travelled down the Oregon Coast to San Fransisco, Yosemite and Death Valley National Parks, Las Vegas, and Bryce Canyon. It was a beautiful drive seeing oceans, redwood forests, different land formations, and the hoodoos.

I went to Alaska in 2010, and saw both Mt. Denali under crystal blue skies, visible from top to bottom, AND the Northern Lights! So I was able to check two items off my "must see" list of life! I don't know if I'll get to see anything that dramatic in 2011, but I will certainly head out in my travels with the hope that I will.

Hawaii 2011 Resolution - a family reunion cruise (first time) which visits 4 of the islands. For one week after the cruise, my husband and I would love to enjoy and explore an island area where we can relax with plans to do only what we choose before returning to our high desert mountains of Colorado.

A resolution worth keeping is to travel with my dear spouse down to the Philadelphia area from New England this April, spend a long weekend there to relax, see our beloved daughter and her first apartment, and to visit an art museum! Ah, a pure, sweet and attainable mini-spring break...

Just got married last week ! My husband and I have the world to see together !! Let's see..... Goa, India ... Tel Aviv, Israel for starters ....... the list is long !! ~;-)

Cruises are not so popular among Japanese people. They think that cruises are onlly for rich people. However, there was this man who tried to let Japanese know cruises are for everybody and it is really fun. He built a website similar to Cruise Critic in the U.S. And thanks to him, many people srarted to think that they could take cruises too. The website growed into a big community. His dream was to take a Mediterranean cruises from Rome, and he was actualy planning it for last summer. However, unfortunately it was too late when they found he had stomach cancer, and he passed away in April 2010.

As a person who love cruises, I was really happy that his website was attracting more and more people everyday. I also planned to take a cruise from Yokohama, Japan, so I can see him befoer the cruise. But I put it off because I found different cruise that was cheaper and had nice ports. I thought I could see him next year. I was wrong.

After he passed away, I felt regret that I changed my mind because I wanted thank him in person for opening the new world of travelling for me.

Now I won't make same mistakes. This year I am going to Galapagos cruise that I have dreamt since I was a child. I won't put it off anything any more. I will work really hard to afford to take trips I want to take. I will make my dreams come true. I will not have any regret!

I am so excited to go back to my favorite best western in Costa Rica. They have the best of all worlds. Hotel,casino,dennys restruant,big pool and lots of birds so you only haveto stay there and if you don't want to stay at hotel you can take a charter to the mountains its the best. We have been 100 times over the last 15 years.

My wife's family has a reunion every three years, and we were unable to make the last one. In 2010, we made sure to attend in Colorado Springs. We enjoyed our best experience staying at the Academy Hotel, and spent hours taking in the scenery that Colorado provides!

Hi, I love Best Western! I have stayed with you time and time again. I have wanted to get out of the state of California forever! I own a condo in Vegas, so I don't stay at Best Western, but I would like to see what you have available to me in the many other states of America! I have always wanted to go to Hawaii and to Florida and Alaska! If you have the availability, I would really like to go back to my homeland...Ireland! I recently lost my only sibling, my sister Dixie, suddenly on 12/27/10...before we were able to complete the Ireland trip we had planned. This year in 2011, I want to travel to Europe, especially Spain and Armenia. I just got my passport for the first time a few weeks ago and needless to say I have never been outside of the u.s. I really want to explore other countries and experience different cultures. This is something I want to do while I am young and still have a chance. And this is just a tip of the iceberg, but will be a nice start.

I have wanted to take my husband to Disneyland. He has never been in his life and I was privileged to have been taken as a child. He had a harder life as a child than myself. I managed to save my tips and my mom gave me airmiles and saved and saved and managed to take him to Disneyland this year!!! It's amazing for him to experience this. Another goal would be to save up and take his 2 kids and mine. A family of 5 will take some serious saving. A gift card would help us so much. And by the way, I bought only best western cards with the airmiles and we loved our hotel at the Best Western Stovalls Inn in Anaheim Caliornia. Beautiful place. Thanks!

My travel resolution is to view the Grand Canyon from the glass skywalk on the edge of the canyon.A once-in-a-lifetime experience will be intensified by looking straight down thousands of feet into the heart of one of the greatest travel spots in the United States of America.

2010 - Thanks Best Western for making my 3000km road trip from Calgary, AB to Tillamook, OR a memorable one! The falls, the ocean, the big cities and small towns, wineries and breweries, the gorge and the mountains made one amazing romatic experience for my girlfriend and I.

I resolve to travel beyond the continental US this year. I would like to go to Canada or Hawaii, and I think my budget will stretch that far. Europe may have to wait another year, but I'll get there eventually, too.

I resolve to do more travel in 2011 than I did in 2010.

We have and Alaskan cruise planned for May of 2011 and I would like to accomplish one item on my bucket list in the fall of 2011. That would be the wolf howling with the naturalists in Algonquin Park. Aside from that a Panama Canal cruise, a South American cruise.......maybe all, maybe some, but the resoloution has been made.

My resolution would be to drive up the California coastline starting in the south and traveling to the north!

I'm retiring this year, so my travel resolution/s is to create my own "bucket list". I'm starting with Alaska, and taking my husband and family !

We already have our first trip planned for this year. We are going to Phoenix, Arizona in March with family members. We will be staying all week at the Best Western at Dobbs Ranch in Mesa. Our next travel resolution is to go out to Oregon to visit our daughter and grandkids.

I would love to be able to go to Springfield, Ohio and Columbus, Ohio this year to see friends I haven't seen in 30 years. I have not been able to travel just for pleasure over the last 20 years. Someday, I would also love to be able to go back to Belgium, germany and France. My biggest travel dream is to be able to take my 17 year old daughter to Greece for her senior trip.

hello, my resolution for 2011 is to see family more

I have combined my travel resolutions with goals for the year. This year, my daughters, ages 12 and 14, and I are traveling to Nashville, Tennessee to run in our first half-marathon together. The three of us are slowly working our way up to the 13.1 miles we will complete together. We are all getting healthier through our improved eating and exercise. Although, the best part about this goal is spending time with my daughters! And in the end, our travel destination is both the goal and the reward for all of the hard work we are putting in to train! After Nashville, maybe I will let them pick the next destination for our second half-marathon. Here's to a year of health, travel and time with family!

We have 4 kids...a 13 year old son and triplet 9 year old daughters. I have always told my son we will plan a trip to the Grand Canyon! (his dream) Just the two of us. He's constantly complaining that the triplets take too much of my time and there isn't enough left for him! Hi I'm Tom from Northwest Indiana and I have son that is getting Married on Nov. 11, 2011 and we hope to get to the wedding there in Sarasota ,Florida. Our focus has been to get there and also take a mini vacation while there. we are focused to just that this year BUT the economy has already set us back and we still hope to make it. My 2011 resolution is to get to California.

I want to achieve 1 item on my "bucket" list, which only has 3 items, visit Hawaii, visit Statue of Liberty and attend a live Rose Bowl Parade and possibly help on one of the floats as a volunteer.

It would be nice to see my daughter, Jenny, in North Carolina. My son, John, is off to a new job on an island and it would be wonderful to see him also. Best Western has always been good to me and has provided excellent places to hang your hat at the end of a, sometimes long, travel day. Thank you, Best Western. My husband and I accomplished several travel resolutions last year. We were very lucky and blessed to go to Hawaii and attend all the away football games for the University Of Louisville. We had to make up for lost times because in 2009 we had many plans to travel , like we always do, but I had pneumonia twice and was hospitalized for about a week each time. So this year our travel resolution is to go to all of the football games for the University of Louisville and another dream is to go to Alaska. But unfortunately I was hospitalized with pneumonia the first week of January. So this year we again will have to see or just go to a fewer places than we want but then make up for it later.

Typically take one summer vacation week with my family (wife & kids) and usually have unused vacation leftover at the end of each year. 2011 travel resolution to spend two straight weeks this summer with my family.

I would like to visit grandparents in Oklahoma and take my triplets to their birthplace in Arkansas.

My job requires that I travel quite frequently year round. I enjoy using Best Western locations whenever I do, because of the value, practical locations and high level of consistent quality of the chain.
After purchasing a new long distance motorcycle last year and doing a proper shakedown with short-distance experiments, my wife and I plan to exploit its full capabilities in 2011.
Our Travel Resolution includes plans for a trip into New England and possibly a dip into the Southern US. My wife is already planning the details and we both agree that Best Western will be our choice for resting our less-than-iron butts!

My resolution is to go to Wisconsin and visit my dad. He is in Bad Health, Kidneys are bad, legs are giving out of him, he can see anymore and I just need to visit him soon. There is a great Best Western there. I have a son in Green Bay and a Sister I have not seen in 6 years in Kenosha. Need to see family, but mostly Dad.
And no Better place but to stay but Best Westerns along the way.

My travel resolution is to complete my vacation in one piece. Last year our vacation was ended abruptly when someone turned left in front of us. We ended up with a totaled car, a night in the hospital and a summer of Dr. visits trying to get back to normal. We hope to visit Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons this spring.

My travel goal this year is to go to Disneyland, with my mom. The happiest place on Earth!

Today is my husband's 60th birthday! I haven't been abroad since we went to Israel on our honeymoon 33 years ago. I would like to see all the places I've read about in literature. That's truly one of the main items on my bucket list.

In September 2010, I took my two teenagers, mother-in-law and aunt on a cruise. It was a special trip because my aunt is entering the late stages of Parkinsons and had never been on a cruise. It was great for her to go while she was still able to enjoy the trip. She had a great time! My daughter turned 17 on the cruise and got her first kiss! Talk about an awesome birthday!

I would very much like to travel back to South Carolina on my Harley to visit my daughter's grave. It has been many years since I have been able to make the trip.
On a lighter note: I want to ride up to see the Great Lakes & then ride out west on a solo ride. Staying at Best Western's are bike friendly and you can park right outside your room!

One travel resolution my husband and I fulfilled in 2010 was a tour of Great Britain. We started in London and took a bus trip up to Edinburgh, Scotland around the west coast to Wales, with a stopover in the Lake Country. We visited Stonehenge and saw Shakespeare's house in Stratford-Upon-Avon. although the weather did not cooperate the entire time, we had a wonderful time.

Both my wife and I will be retiring this year. My wife loves Greek Mythology and a visit to Greece and the islands is definitely on her "bucket list". We have been saving for a few years to make this trip happen. Every little bit helps to make the trip possible.

Visit New Zeland

Our resolution is to drive to the U.S. this summer again for 3 1/2 weeks. We did it three years ago and enjoyed the driving trip so much that we are going back for a second time to catch all the stuff we missed the first time. We'll start at the Shasta Dam, then San Francisco, L.A., Anaheim, and end in Vegas. The Best Western travel card thru air miles are always a big part of our trip, and we enjoy these hotels immensely.

The resolution we accomplished in 2010 - we finally made it to Alaska; we combined land tour with cruise. Outstanding! But since it was expensive, will probably visit family and nothing too outlandish for 2011.

My resolution is that I just made plans to go to Florida in Feb to get away from the chilling New England weather. I hope to travel to other places this year like maybe Vegas again. I went there 2 years ago and I loved it! Thanks for the chance.

My daughter and I planned to travel the California Coast to San Francisco or all the way to the California/Oregon border for 2010 but things got in the way including time off from work. We are trying to plan this trip again this year and are hoping that our health is better than it is right now. It has been over ten years since we travel the California coast and my daughter has never been to San Francisco. I would love to take her this summer if possible.

It's been so cold, I just want to head south to Legoland whenever my kids have a school break!

My husband and I recently retired and are planning a trip to visit our son and daughter in Santa Monica and Phoenix area. We will be traveling by car and mapped out our trip to include stops in San Antonio, Tucson, Phoenix, Santa Monica, Las Vegas and Denver. We are looking forward to visiting our son and daughter as well as escaping some of the winter cold, and enjoying some warm weather.

Our travel goal for 2010 was a trip to Hawaii and we did it! We spent Christmas and New Years in Hawaii, two glorious weeks. We stayed at the start of our trip at the Best Western close to the airport. How nice when we were tired to be welcomed to a Best Western and be so well taken care of.

My New Years Travel Resolution is to have a fun filled summer vacation, when-ever and where-ever it may be. Plans for our summer vacation are not yet finalized. We have 6 children and finding a place to stay the week or two ends up being costly (when you add a Mom and Dad to the cost). We'll make it a wonderful vacation no matter what and make lots of memories.

Last year my boyfriend and I had planned to go to Michigan for the June NASCAR race ( BIG FANS) but with the way the economy was, we had to cancel. We were really upset about it. Still shedding tears! It sucked missing this race! Nothing like seeing Carl do the back-flip in person!! I'd love to surprise my boyfriend with a Michigan race!! So AWESOME~

My wife and I are planning out first cruise this year. We are in the process of booking a cruise to the Caribbean this fall. We also have a wish to go on Amtrak snowball express to Winter Park, Colorado for a 4 day/night ski trip. We normaly drive to Colorado and stay at the Best Western Lodge in Nederland, CO. for skiing at Eldora Mountain Resort.

I have decided to start a travel journal. I meet such interesting people when traveling. Their stories add to the landscape. Even business trips can become an adventure!
Aside from that, I hope to work in a trip to see an aging relative and to get to Anaheim to see my daughter perform at the National Dance Competition with my family.

This year, we plan to have at least one hotel night a month, someplace in Northern California. I want to go back to our yearly extended stay in Mendocino as well. Also, returning to Vegas would be marvelous. And if that isn't enough,(and when is there ever enough travel?!) it's time to start saving for that trip to for the 150th anniversary of Gettysburg.

Since moving to Florida 4 years ago I have loved visiting all areas there.
My resolution for 2010 was to go back to our home state of RI for the Holidays. We did and stayed at the airport Best Western, however, the blizzard was more than we bargained for!. Next time we will go in Summer.

My resolution in 2010 was to travel to Port Alberni on the Vancouner Island to see my brother in law and his wife. We did go in early november and ended up adopting a puppy to bring home with us. I only see my family once a year and I enjoy every minute with them in Va. We would love to go to VA Beach this year to have the family gathering for the little ones to see and play at the beach.

Instead of sending postcards with the standard "wish you were here" schmaltz, I'll send letters with my impressions of people, places, and experiences, more in the vein of a travel journal entry. I'll ask the recipients to save the letters for me, and then will put them in a scrapbook, à la "The Jolly Christmas Postman" children's book, for interactive and more entertaining reminiscing.

Visit to Africa, Ghana were my daughter is station for the Peace Corps, I always wnted to visit Africa and that is my travel resolution for 2011 to see the what's know to me as he " Mother Land".

As my daughter tell of the lifestyle of the people and how different the culture habits are; how little money she spend on everything...I must see for myself. I take two to three cruises a year and now I going to try land travel and Africa is just a great starting place.

After that a trip to: Key West for a mother daughter trip with my sisters, mom and my other daughter.

I can not imagine life without Traveling to see God's great earth!

Take my daughter to the International Anime Festival in Tokyo. A few years ago, I adopted a 10-year old. I have been trying since that time to make all of her dreams come true. She is a very good artists and is really interested in Anime. She is also fascinated by all things Japanese. I would like to take this mother-daughte trip together!

Having previously visited 49 US states, all of Europe, all but 3 Canadian provinces and several Mexican states, I am really trying to get to Alaska in 2011. I have been putting it off since I'm not really fond of cruises and that seems to be the favorite means of getting there. My goal is to fly to Juneau and take several day trips, staying, of course, at BW Grandma's Feather Bed, the smallest Best Western property. According to everything I've read while researching the area, I think this will give me at least a good thumbnail look at Alaska.

My wife and I would love to take a driving trip this winter to visit some of our favorite cities in the southwest. These cities have many delightful museums, restaurants, and shops and include Taos, Santa Fe, Albequerque, Prescott, and San Diego.

My travel goal is to go to one of the beaches in Florida with my two little girls...living in South Dakota, they've never actually been to a WARM beach with WARM water!

My travel resolution is to travel to Mn. to see our daughter and new son in law, then proceed to Ca. and visit our son in Oakland. from there mosey across this great country and visit Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, and end up in Pa. and Md. to visit the rest of our family. Then come down the coast to Fl. Best Western all the way.

My travel resolution would be to go see the remaining members of my father's side of the family. They all live in California and Arizona and I have not been to see them since 1983.

My husband passed away last year and was to sick to go to the Oregon Coast as we had planned - so a trip to the Lincoln City is planned along with a trip to Vegas, I also just got my Pass Port and would like to travel this big world - I will take Danny in my heart and share it all with him and make some new memories!

This year's travel resolution is for variety! We intend to mix it up with travel to visit family, more travel to visit friends, and perhaps a romantic journey to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

We just accomplished one of our travel resolutions for 2011. It was a visit from Edmonton , Alberta to visit some of our friends that are lucky enough to be able to winter in Yuma. Funny how time slips away when everyone here is close and we don't visit close to home and we spent a few days with ALL of them in YUMA. What a great visit and catch up. Of course we are hoping to make our next resolution to visit more friends/relatives in Ontario later this year. Good luck to me!!

Our family has made a resolution to take at least 6 getaways and/or camping trips this year. With our children getting older and soon going off to college, we want to travel as much as possible with them and make as many great family memories as we can before they are all grown up and go off to make memories of their own. Every two months, we hope to take a car trip some where new and exciting or head out on a camping adventure to a spot we've not yet been. Our family is determined to finally visit my 16 year old daughter's place of birth -- Bucharest, Romania. We saw it once in September 1995 when we picked her up; she was 1 year old and her adored big brother was 7. All of us are excited to return and see again the natural beauty of that country and the gracious warmth of its citizens.

My travel resolution is to visit the exchanges students we have hosted over many years. I would like to experience their culture like they experienced the culture of the USA while they were here.

My resolution for 2011 is to see as much of the United States as possible. There is so much history to learn and I want to find out as much as I can. I also wish to visit friends and family while traveling. Our family is streched across this great country and gives an opplortunity to learn and grow together.

My resolution is to return to the Beautiful city of Dubuque Iowa in 2011. I was there with my family in January 2010 and had a great vacation. It was freezing cold and snowy but we loved every minute of it. The dog also had a great time. The Best Western in Dubuque has a great staff and is pet friendly. The resturant was great also. We can't wait to go back this year. This time in the summer. Although in the winter months there is plenty to do inside the Hotel. There is something for everyone from swimming to exercise room to shooting pool and alot more. It's great for adults and children and even your pet. What a deal.. We will see you soon.

Last year, we made a trip to Japan that we had wanted to do for years. We visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kanazawa, Nagano and Ueda. One of the best places we stayed was the Best Western in Shinjuku Tokyo.

We have been on a cattle drive (horseriding) week in Arizona...
We have spent three weeks hiking in Jasper, Banff and Glacier N.P. and been able to meet Grizzly bears on one of our hikes.
The last accomplishment has been the relocation from Italy to the US in October... Much more than just a travel...!!!

I did manage to get away to Mexico 2010 but only for 10 days so in 2011 I would either like to get away to Mexico for 3-4 weeks or take a nice long 1 month or more holiday to Portugal.

Our family 2011 travel resolution is to pack less (less is more)! We just tried it over x-mas and our out of town family/hosts couldn't believe the four of us packed a weeks worth of stuff in four carry-ons. (We shipped x-mas gifts ahead of time.) It is so nice not to deal with the extra baggage in more ways than one.

Most of my traveling has been for business without my wife. She has been left home to work and until recently to take care of our children. We have had a few nice vacations but not nearly as many as I would have liked. For the past two years our oldest son has been attending college in Washington D.C. We have hoped to visit him and to see our nations capitol for the first time. He will be concluding his studies there in May. I have resolved that we will visit him this spring.

Would love to travel cross-country Canada with the kids this summer. it's been a dream for a while. Maybe this is the year!? Life is short and you should put things off only for so long...

I love to travel! My goal is to visit all 50 states before I die. I have been able to see many of the states but I still have a few more to visit before I accomplish my goal. This year I will finally get to see Alaska. I can hardly wait to see the glaciers, do some whale watching and see some totem poles. Maybe I'll even strike it rich panning for gold. I will turn 65 this year. Here is my bucket list of things to do this year.Go to visit Key West, Florida,water skiing one more time, clean out my basement and all closets of things that are as old as me. For this 'Baby Bommer' to do all of this will be a challenge.

It would be great to travel to Texas, driving through Colorado and New Mexico. I have been there before, and Texas is a beautiful state.

My New Year's travel resolution is to take at least one four day trip a month in 2011. I enjoy traveling around the US and seeing how things have changed in the past 20 years since the last time I traveled to several states in one year.

Last year my husband bought me a Harley Trike, so at age 55 I learned to ride. We traveled all over California, Oregon and Nevada. This year we're planning on even more rides and even a long one up thru California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. In the 7 months I had my Harley last year I managed to put on almost 6 thousand miles. This year I'm planning on doubling that!

For a long time we have wanted to see the Grand Canyon. Finally in 2010 we made the trip, taking our 10yr old granddaughter with us. It was a wonderful trip for us all. Then, towards the end of summer, my wife's parents joined us on a trip to Alaska. Another wonderful trip - one that my father-in-law wanted to do his whole life. America has so many beautiful places to see and we plan and hope to see much more. Our favorite place, one we have visited several times, is Yellowstone National Park.

I hope to spend more time with family living outside Chicago and less traveling internationally which prevents me from accomplishing my current travel goal.

my husband steve and i plan to visit as many usa national parks as possible within one year. included in our list are mount rushmore (sd), wind cave (sd), badlands (sd), yosemite, sequoia, king's canyon, lassen, joshua tree, pinacles - all in california. we want to help the national travel economy as well as get our money's worth out of our annual n.p. pass!

During our 46 years of marriage we have enjoyed many travel excursions throughout Canada and the United States. Since my retirement in 1999, we have ventured into a new phase - that of taking a cruise every winter into the warm sunshine of the Caribbean, Panama Canal or to Puerto Vallarta and other ports on the Pacific. We especially enjoy the island tours. In future years, our dream is to expand our horizons even further by taking in the sights of the Mediterranean or northern Europe!

My travel resolution is to take my daughter across from Vancouver Island where we live to Saskatewon to see her Great Grand Parents that just turned 80 this past year in December. They live so far away and I am a single parent most of her life so I haven't had too many chances to spend time and visit with them and the rest of my family out on the pairies. We haven't done a road trip since she was 5 years old and can't wait to get the chance to do it again with her!

In 2011 I would like to go to South Texas and see a friend in the Harlligen Area and go to the beach at South Padre Island. Also I would like to go to San Antonio and visit The Alamo again. I haven't been to The Alamo since I was around three years old.

What I'd really like to do is to pick up my friend down there then go from there out to Arizona and go gold panning with her cousins, and then drive up to Alaska. I've never been to Alaska or San Padre. As close as I've gotten to Alaska is last year when I drove up to visit my sweet cousin in Sequim, Washington State. Beautiful country. Who knew there was a REAL rain forest there?!!

Astoria WA to Ocean Shores crossing the Megeler Bridge across the Columbia river. Our dream trip tro Hostfest in Minot ND was not doable because there were no motel rooms available in September for that event.
However, We will travel in 2011 to Ocean Shores,WA and again to Port Angeles WA taking the CoHo ferry to Victoria BC for the Phoenix Walks events.

lAST SPRING WE MOVED FROM BC TO NB, AND THIS YEAR I AM PLANNING AS A VACATION TRIP TO TRAVEL (BACK AND FORTH) BY CAR THROUGH THE COUNTRY. I WILL TAKE MY TIME TO EXPLORE THE REST ( EVERYTHING INBETWEEN) OF BEAUTIFUL CANADA AND STAYING EVERYWHERE I LIKE.

In 2011, we are planning on going to manistee MI for my 40th class reunion. We moved to Texas 20 years ago, for a job and raising a family has make it very difficult to travel the 1800 miles to go home. So our resolution is to be home for the 4th of July, even though both my wife and I have lost our jobs this winter.

I am a hiker, and a photographer. On Oct 1, 2010 I broke my ankle. So, my resolution is to hike my favorite Mt Rainier trail, the Naches Trail from Chinook Pass, by Oct 1, 2011. I love hiking anytime, but the fall on Mt Rainier is spectacular, and quiet. This trail has wildflowers, lakes, and unparalleled view of the mountain. I spend 4 months in WA and the rest in FL using Best Western to guide me back and forth safely.

My travel resolution is to head out West to AB to take in the dinosaur fossils, visit a pregnant friend (who should have the baby by summer!) in Calgary, head up through the mountains to take in the spectacular views, hit Edmonton and visit my brother (plus the west ed mall!!), on even more North the Fort Mac (where I have not been yet) to visit another brother and then back home to MB. This year my resolution is to finally get our Disneyland vacation!! We are a family of 5 who unfortunately had to postpone our trip last year. Life threw us several curve balls the last 2 years. So this year we are back on track and will hopefully get our family vacation. This will more then likely be our last family vacation with the 5 of us, as our boys are now teenagers and are starting to do there own thing. The last time we went to california we travelled all throughout it and stayed at several best westerns along the way. This time we plan on doing the same thing and would like to add a stay at the BWPPI in Anaheim. How awesome to stay right across the street from the happiest place on earth!! I can't wait! Hurry up August and get here soon!

This year I would love to take my wife on a trip down the oregon coast. She has been working 2 jobs this year and she deserves a vacation. She has always wanted to go and hopefully this year I can surprise her with a trip!

This year my family made the resolution to go somewhere warm for a Christmas holiday instead of buying each other presents and making a big Christmas meal. We think the price of the meal with all the fixings (cheese ball, spinach dip, several items of baking, turkey, cabbage rolls, perogies, etc) would likely be around $400 and the amount we spend on gifts would total over $1,000. In 2010, my boyfriend and I FINALLY got to go on a trip together. Not just a weekend a few hours away, but a REAL trip to Dominican Republic. We both worked really hard over the christmas and new years holidays and in January we jetted off for an amazing week on Punta Cana's gorgeous beach! Wish we could do it again, but we might have to stay a little closer to home right now. The gift card would be a great weekend away to the mountains though!

A death in the family last year inspired me to make some personal changes. I vowed not to wait till retirement to do the things that I want to do. I made some significant changes to my work life and reprioritized my family, friends and travel. My resolution started in 2010 but continues in 2011. I have trips to Ottawa, Edmonton, Miami and a cruise all coming up in the next month!

For several years I have gotten interested in Photography and one thing I really am determined to photograph this year is some wild horses. There are so few in the United States now. I would love to go to the Wild Horse Sanctuary in South Dakota, but can't afford it yet. There are a few wild horses in southern Missouri and I'm determined to at least stay at the Best Western this year in West Plains Missouri so that I can look for those horses. Wild horses are the most beautiful thing there is and it's a shame they are dissappearing more all the time.

I resolve to see something of the parts of my own state of Louisiana I haven't visited and nearby states, such as Arkansas and Texas, now that I've finally retired.

I would love to take an extended weekend trip to coastal Florida

My husband and I are big Nascar fans. We would like to see some of the races this year. The first is planned for Martinsville in April. While there we plan on taking some extra days to see the Nascar Hall of Fame.

Ever since i was young, i have looked at magazines and videos about
other places and wished i could go there. i have worked very hard all my life and a couple of years ago, with help from Best Western, and AMA travel I got
to go by train to vancouver for a week. i made myself dizzy walking 3 times around stanley park as i wanted to see the ocean before i died. i didn't quite see the ocean, and i was too scared to take the ferry to victoria, so
i was content just to see the various water around vancouver. i went in february when there was hardly any people around and had a wonderful time eating fresh fish etc. at the markets and riding the little boats back and forth in the bay and to north vancouver. it is my dream that i could go
back and take my husband with me and have him hold my hand and go
on a real big ferry across to victoria to see the flowers. my girlfriend and i were all set to go see her son there but she got cancer and passed away and her son moved back here. please, please put an older woman out
of her misery and send her off somewhere like they used to do when people had outlived there usefulness.

We resolve to take more vacations this year to truly take a break from day to day life.

I took a promotion and traveled to central California for training for a total of 6 weeks. Because of this, I missed my usual trip to Arizona for spring training to see the Giants. I would love to get down there this year.

I will repeat my annual trip to FL--Treasure Island, Orlando. Then move up to Myrtle Beacjh on the way home. In all of these places i have found great Best Western hotels and wil continue to use them. Great rooms, convenient to all entertainment & great wifi. Best Wastern is the Best.

I have a DIAMOND rewards card which I hope to keep by staying at BEST WESTERN during the year 2011. I never had a problem with my stays.

I am planning a trip to Europe and hope to find a Best Western in a couple of places over there and will check out the net of course but will be needing a hotel in a couple of cities so think I should collect the points offered by Best Western if they are available. I like the standard you find in the Best Western and always find them clean and with good quality bedding in all of the hotels I have stayed in so far.

My resolution for this year is to travel more. The past couple of years I have had problems with a bone disorder I have in which my bones break easily and was not able to go many places. I resolve to visit as many National Parks as I can in my life, starting in 2011. This year I will visit AT LEAST 1 National Park and I will continue wit at least one every year after that.

I did not get to travel to where I wanted to go last year, I lost my Mom so it was not a good year. This year will be a much better year and I AM going to go to a few places I wanted to last year. (Hawaii, Mexico, Sonoma, Santa Barbara) I am going to Dallas again on business this year though and staying at the same Best Western I did last year. Thanks! Happy New Year!

A travel resolution I accomplished in 2010 was to visit some college friends that live in British Columbia. Last time I saw them 7 years ago they had no kids now they have 3 kids. I resolve to cross 55 borders (ok, I didn't specify which kind, did I :-) ) before I turn 55 in August, on my trusty steel steed, Blue Ice (2010 Harley-Davidson CVO Softail). Three years ago (was it that long??), I covered over 1,000 miles solo on a 2008 105th Anniversary Fat Boy Softail -- in three days! I stayed at a Best Western hotel one of those nights, and they took great care of me. I'm looking forward to continuing that relationship in the pursuit of my goal . . .

I resolve to always keep a local Best Western hotel number in my cell phone for all emergency purposes in 2011. When the great ice storm of January 2011 hit Atlanta, GA, most residences were unprepared. Many people were unprepared to be stranded several days. Some were even stuck over night with cars frozen to the interstate! Southerners rarely get the treat of snow and the threat of an ice storm is even less. Being a single parent with a house that was totally electric, this could pose several problems for me: 1) I would lose power, 2) I could lose the internet needed for my online class from the university, 3) I would not be able to use my sleep apnea machine, and 4) my son and I would be very cold and suffer from frostbite. Being a Best Western rewards member, I called a Best Western local hotel. They confirmed they had free wi-fi, a back generator, free breakfast, and a restaurant onsite as well as a gift shop with my necessities. We stayed 4 worry-free days! Thanks Atlanta Area Airport Best Western for a great staff who took care of us!

I have always wanted to take my family to a nice beach down south.I hope to be able to do this in 2012.

Travel resolution 2011 = Israel

A travel resolution I accomplished in 2010 was finally traveling to the east coast for the first time. I went to Miami, FL to see Backstreet Boys perform an acoustic set.

My travel resolution is to visit every province in Canada. Only 2 more to go, Newfoundland in July 2011 and the Yukon ( not sure when) I always stay at Best Western's. They make you feel at home and are always there to help when you are in a new city.

My travel resolution for 2011 is traveling to San Francisco at the end of March with my husband. He has to attend business conferences and I was lucky to get the opportunity to go with him. Winning this would come at a wonderful time because we would like to extend this stay by two days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary but simply cannot afford to pay for a hotel due to our daughter getting married in May. Thank you for the opportunity to enter this contest and even if I don't win this I know that this trip will be memorable because my husband had a heartattack last July 5th and we now know just how precious time can be, we will enjoy our anniversary and remember just how close we came to not being together for another one.

For the last few years, my husband and I have been traveling the United States during our vacations from work to try to reach the high points of each state. Last year our daughter, how was 24 years old, joined us to try to make the summit of Mt. Whitney, the highest point in California and the highest point in the United States. Although none of us made the summit, I made it to 12, 200 Ft (not bad for a 64 year old lady with MD) and my husband and daughter missed the summit by 900 ft elevation not distance because of the weather conditions, In 2010 we we finished all of the high points east of the Mississippi. We will make another attempt at Mt Whitney later this year. We plan to go to the great plains states and Utah, Arizona, Texas and New Mexico as well. And, we stay in Best Westerns somewhere along the way, always. We can count on fair prices, decent breakfast, and a good night's sleep

I was not able to accomplish my travel resolutions for 2010 so I am hoping 2011 is my year. I really want to take a trip with my husband. We have only gone away without the kids once in the 25 years we have been married. i resolve that 2011 will be our year!!

My resolutions for 2011 is more Best Western stays. Then driving. My husband is always in a rush to get to our destination and drives straight through with a few hours of snoozes. I'll be making it happen this year that we drive 8 hours and stop and stay over night...

I have lots of travel plans for 2011. I'll be going to St. John's in New Brunswick in April of 2011, and hopefully staying at the Best Western there. In May, I'll be going to Mexico for 2 weeks (Cancun/Playa del Carment). In July, I'll be doing the Acadian Coastal Drive in New Brunwick, and staying at the Best Western Hotels along the way. I may also climb Mt. Washington (New Hampshire) in the summer and stay at the Best Western there. In August, I'm planning on going to Grand Manan Island and St. Stephen (New Brunswick). In September or early October, I'll have one more trip to Canada to wrap things up for the year, and that will be to see the Hopewell Rocks and Bay of Fundy during the fall season when the leaves are changing colors.

This year I am planning on going on a trip to La's Vegas with my family and i am bringing a friend we are planning on going in may but the only problem is that I am having trouble saving my money lately I've been paying rent and my roommate does not make enough money the IRS is cutting half of her paycheck and owes money for her credit cards and lately I've been paying for it. hopefully ill have enough money to go on this trip for my friend and I both of are birthdays are in may we will be turning 22 and we are hoping to celebrate in Vegas

Defiantly in 2011 my husband and I plan on visiting Charleston, SC! We traveled there in 2010 for a long weekend and absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back! I would also like to try to take a trip to Vegas or Arizona. I'm from the south and have never traveled out west.

I always make an effort to stay where there is a Best Western when I travel because they have great locations & accomodation for my needs. My resolution for 2011 is to do my best to travel to the British Isles where my Godmother is recovering from unexpected heart surgery. I have not seen her for approximately 15 years. I think, because she is in an isolated location with very few people to surround her during recovery, my visit would be the best medicine for her. Flight costs are horrific and I am doing the best I can with my pension to put a bit away so that this reality can come true. Thank you for your consideration.

My resolution for 2011 is to go places we have never been before and also to great places we have traveled to in the past. For example, we shall be in Savannah, Ga., staying at the BW River walk on Feb. 8th, which we did some 30 years ago. Then this summer we shall be in Cagliari, Sardinia at the BW, then off to Ravello, Italy (Amalfi coast) where we shall stay at the BW Marmorata. Then, we are off to Germany ( Miesbach) and Salzburg, Austria and will stay at the BW's where we stayed in 2010. And in 2010 we quickly qualified for our gold card, so in 2011 we surely shall qualify for the next level card (platinum). During 2010 we made some stops in Latin America like, Quepos, Costa Rica and San Jose too, staying at the BW's and we shall make many more stops to come in the next years as we intend to stay at all the 4000+ BW's internatioinally.......................WHY???? Simply because the service, decor, facilities, etc., have been excellent and the staff and managers go out of their way to make it all happen for the best. It is obvious to see that all said people are well trained in all aspects of good Hostelry. This is a good time to Thank you all for your great abilities.

I resolve to travel to one of the many countries I have not visited every year and also to make it to one of the destinations I've been longing to see.

I made a resolution to get a job that would help me travel the world... and I accomplished it last July! I now get paid to fly all around North America, which helps me work towards my goal of hitting all 7 continents!

I've been to all the western states except one: Hawaii! In 2011, I resolve that I will finally make it to the Aloha State!

I would love to get back to Hershey Park in Pennsylvania. The last time I was there, I was 10, and got separated from my family of nine, and was "lost" for a short time. I hope to make this next trip less scary, and more fun, this time with my own daughter.

I want to go to Alaska....I retired in 2010....This year I will start my plans...

My travel resolution in 2010 was to swim with Dolphins at Discovery Cove in Orlando Florida. We did and it was better than expected! I recommend this place to everyone. My 2011 travel resolution is to go back to Southern California this summer.

Our resolutions this year was to road trip to Texas and we are living that right now we have been on the raod for 10 days and finally got to Texas, plan on spending 2 weeks here and there until we return to Ohio. My travel resolution is to take the opportunity to travel. Being a full time student/Personal Support Worker and Mommy, I think it's time I do something for myself!

One of my biggest travel resolutions is to run a marathon in all 50 U.S. states. After that, I would like to run one in all 7 continents.

My travel resolution is to go back to Lancaster PA. at the Best Western Eden Resort and relax for 2 whole weeks in one of their beautiful 2 story suites with my husband.

Need to be more assertive with my backcountry hiking and snowshoeing, especially at Bryce Canyon and enjoying the amenities of the new Best Western Grand Hotel located at the entrance to Bryce.

My travel resolution for 2011 is to get to the East Coast and I have just booked my flights for this coming May to arrive in Halifax and do some touring around the maritimes. Cannot wait!!

And maybe, before the year is out, head out west :)

For the past 20 years, my resolution has been to visit New Zealand and Australia and by golly, my husband and I are leaving in three short weeks. Yipee!!!. Upon our return we will need another short break as three of our girls are making us grqndparents once again - a lot of baby-sitting ahead for us.

We were planning on an Alaska vacation this year, but with 3 feet of snow on the ground, somewhere warm and tropical is sounding alot better right now!

I achieved a major travel goal in 2010 by taking my first mission trip to Haiti. In 2011 I would like to either travel to Haiti again or assist one of my children to go on a mission trip to Haiti.

After 31 years of marriage, my wife and I have decided to visit the Florida Keys this year, maybe in April. We usually travel somewhere every year, either by car, plane, or cruise ship. We've never travel to the Keys though, so this year that's were we will go.

My travel resolution for 2011 is to attend the Graduation at Oakwood University for some very special Seniors that will be graduating. This year

I spent all of 2010 traveling...for school! I reached Diamond level in way less than a year, which meant 35+ nights away from my husband and baby. Now that I have graduated I would love to spend 2011 doing some fun traveling. I'd like to take my daughter on a much needed vacation...somewhere warm and sunny! Perhaps Florida to visit with friends :)

I live in the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains. While I am not a hiker, I have traveled over the eastern US and have crossed the Appalachian Trail several times. I learned that the trail continues into Canada as the International Appalachian Trail and that it ends where the mountain range goes into the water from the Gaspe Peninsula of Quebec. My travel goal for 2010 was to see where our magnificent mountains continue their march into the sea. My husband and I did just that in September of 2010 and it was a spectacular experience.

My travel resolution for this year is to finally make it back to Texas. The last time I visited relatives in Texas was in 1979 and it's time i meet so many new relatives as well as to travel to Charro days in late Feb or Mariachi Festival in San Antonio in either March or April. I've had something come up with my children or job that has put off my trip for the last 3 years. This is the year to complete my dream.

My husband and I love Florida and have resolved to make the 20 hour drive necessary to visit the Florida Keys this year. Best Western Inns and Suites is always on the top of our Hotel availability list. This past year we stayed at Best Western Indianapolis and visited our Indiana State Fair for the first time. Had an awesome time. Awesome, I say.

My travel resolution for 2011is to visit my 3 children. I have an eldest son in the Navy, my youngest just graduated Marine boot camp and my middle son will entering the Airforce boot camp in April I plan on visiting all my boys in their adventures, Best Western is my first choice of hotels. I will be staying in as many as possible.

My husband is from San Francisco, CA and I am from St Petersburg FL, every year we have to take a trip to both places to visit family. Just once I would love to go somewhere outside the US. This year we are hoping to go to the Virgin Islands. Somewhere warm, sandy, sunny, just the two of us.

My 2010 travel accomplishment was I spent 131 days of the year at Disneyland. It truly is MY happiest place on earth!

My wife wanted to make trips to Boston and Vermont last year. It was a little tough being new parents, but we got to visit both spots, all three of us, and we had a great time.

My 2010 travel accomplishment was staying at Best Western in Akron, Ohio for the All American Soapbox Derby Nationals. We have stayed there every year since 2004, but this year we convinced many other racers that this was the best place to stay. It definately was. That week the hotel was 98% owned by soapbox families and the staff was definately accommodating and excellent. Thanks to all the staff and see you in July 2011.

I am excersing more and started my program to quick smoking, hopefuflly since my husband was out of work for two years, we will travel to Tampa, FL for a much needed vacation. Also being a better listeners. It's would be a blessing to vacation for a few days. Get away from all the negativity for a minute

My daughter is going to Argentina for two years as a missionary and we hope to be able to go visit her!

I'm currently in the process of deciding between various PhD programs around the nation and so my travel goals for 2011 include visiting seven different states and determining where I'd like to spend the next 4-5 years of my academic career. While I'm traveling for practical reasons, I'm resolving to sneak in at least an occasional detour to see some of the sights of the U.S. that I've never seen: including a trip to the Grand Canyon.

My travel resolution is to go to places I have never been to. My first stop is Costa Rica.

My travel resolution this year is to visit a country I've never been to before as well as to sightsee using my own power. So that's what I'm doing this May -- going to Italy's Piedmont region and biking for 7 days through the countryside, about 40-50 miles a day.

Our travel resolution this year is to visit Amish country and stay at the Best Western in Intercourse Pennsylvania. We've already checked out the rates and availability! After a winter of snow here in Vermont we're ready for a trip this spring.

My 2010 travel resolution was to go on a cruise. I entered very time consuming contest entering MANY enteries for months to win and I did win. I won a cruise to the Bahamas and had a AWESOME time :)

To travel with an open heart for all the people we travel with and learn to enjoy every trip taken. The world out there has so much to offer.

My resolution will be to convert all my family and friends to Best Western hotels. Very often last year my husband I stayed with Best Western--weddings, family get-togethers, etc. Where we stayed everyone else booked. It made it more convenient for us all. I think we have some converts.

My travel resolution for 2011 is to attend my niece's college graduation. As a graduate of a state university, I've lived a life of well-educated drudgery. The Wellesley campus has nurtured and challenged my niece, and she's prepared for a real career, one that fills the soul as well as the wallet. Thanks to reasonably priced hotels like Best Western Framingham and The Inn at Hunt's Landing in Matamoras, PA, I've been able to visit her on campus and watch her transformation.

To return to Honolulu before the end of 2011. Our son and daughter-in-law live there and we haven't seen them since May, 2010. We miss them and love the easy going, beach oriented lifestyle of Hawaii.

Although I am lucky enough to have just enjoyed a great family vacation in Puerto Vallarta, in 2011 I would like to travel and enjoy Canada more by driving down to the east coast from Ontario and visiting the only province I have yet to travel to, Prince Edward Island.

See America! Too many people go outside our Counrty to see places and take a vacation. There's so much to see right here in America. My Wife and I plan on visiting every National Park Site, starting in Maine and working across the Counrty. We aslo want to meet the people in each of the Regions to see what makes this Country so great.

2010 was my year to FINALLY travel overseas!! I am 51 years old and had never been to Europe. I travelled to Ireland and England in Sept 2010 and now I can't wait to see more!! The Best Western Skylon Hotel in Dublin was a fabulous hotel for our start and end in Ireland.

This year we stay in Canada and travel to Newfoundland! We've been planning this trip for 2 years and can't wait to see this beautiful part of our own country!!

I retired this February. Our first trip will be to New Oleans after Marti Gras. Looking forward to many adventures in travel in the years to come.

Last year I stayed at a Best Western in Valpariso, Chile. Other trips included stays at Best Western in Kelowna, Abbotsford & North Vancouver, Our 2011 travel resolution to stay at Best Westerns during a 2 week road trip from Vancouver Island to include Calgary & Edmonton. They are a great place when traveling with children.

My husband and I would like to take our daughter to as many dive locations around the world that we can. We are currently living in the Virgin Islands, and have been enjoying the diving here, and we are in the process of getting her involved in the wonderful world of scuba diving. She is 18 years old, and we would like to do this before she goes off to college and we are no longer cool to hang out with.

I have made several trips.Drove from S.Texas to Niagara Falls via Colombia Mo. and picked up a friend .In 2008 And drove back up again in 2009..We stayed at a Best Western Fire Side Inn on the Canadian side for 3 nights.They had a very nice cafe type free breakfast.On the way back stopped at Best Western in Marion Ar..
In 2010 I drove to Burns Oregon in June and stayed at the Ramada Inn in Santa Cruz N.Mexico and one in Salt Lake City Utah on the way.,Did the same two stops on the way home.And I will say never again.dirty,noisy and somewhat rude and had to beg for a coupon for free breakfast.
I drove back again to Burns Oregon in September,but that time I decided to make my reservations with Best Western.I stayed at one on the way up in Santa Rosa N.Mexico when I walked in the room there was a note saying Welcome Harold Have a nice stay thought that was very nice.. And again due to time Ramada in S.L.City U.but on the way back i stayed at the BEST WESTERN EXECUTIVE INN at Midvale UT. and had a reservation at B W. in Santa Rosa NM.but ran into an ice and snow storm E of Albuquerque and had to go back
What I am trying to say is this.I now belong to Best Western Rewards and am planning a driving to Las Vegas in April don't have any other plans after that (YET) but you can bet my stays will be with Best Western from now on.

I would like to stay an extra day or two for 'leisure' or 'fun' instead of just staying for business. Life is too short and we need to enjoy ourselves. Many times we take care of 'business' and forget to relax.

In 2010 - we celebrated our 30th anniversary and took our first vacation ever. We spent time on the East Coast visiting history and the ocean. That was a dream come true!

Now we know why people take vacations. We spent our next to last night at a Best Western outside of the Asheville area and woke to the beautry of the mountains.

In 2010 I saw the Rockies! Friends couldn't believe it when I'd say that I'd never been to Colorado nor seen the Rocky Mountains. I've traveled so many places, in the US and around the world, so how could I not have seen the Rockies? Using our son's Centre College soccer game against Colorado College in October as our excuse, my husband and I spent 10 days hiking around Manitou Springs, Buena Vista [where we stayed in a beautiful Best Western with a grand view of the Collegiate Peaks from our room] and Rocky Mountain National Park. I had heard the term "majestic" used to describe the Rockies -- what a perfect term! What a great trip! And Centre won their game too -- GO COLONELS!

My travel achievement last year... Was flying from Chicago to San Francisco on First Class with an economy class price tag!

At the start of last year, I moved from Saskatchewan to the West Coast. In doing so I wasn't able to bring my car with me. During the summer I flew back and picked up my car and drove it through the BEAUTIFUL Rocky Mountains in just under 3 days. Where did I stay in my travels? Best Western of course!

We've committed as parents to road trip again from our home near Salt Lake City to Rice Lake Wisconsin (wife's family lives there) with the 5 of our 8 children that still live at home. It's about a 3,000 mile trip, and we've done it a few times before.
Have you ever traveled 3,000 miles in a van with 5 kids under the age of 16? It's a challenge, that's for sure. But well worth it to spend time with family. It's a two day drive, but we love to stay half way (Nebraska) at a Best Western so the kids can get out, swim, have a nice sleep and breakfast before hitting the road again. Anything else would be, well crazy :).

My resolution is to travel by car from Nova Scotia to Destin Florida for a holiday and to stay at the Best Westerns along the way so I can collect points.

Ah, to be sitting in a Irish Pub this summer at closing time and the patrons break into the Irish National Anthem. Tenors, basses, altos all singing in unison. Now that would be a wonderful evening in a beautiful country. That's our travel resolution for this summer.

I stay at the Best Western for all my business trips where Best Western is available. I am saving the reward miles I accrue for a trip to Hawaii at the end of this year.

My New Years Resolution in 2011 is backpack and travel Italy/Spain, Europe. Taking pictures of sculptures and visiting museums, indulging in fine wine while learning culture and history. I've always wanted the opportunity to have that experience before I settle down with family and kids, hopefully I can this year.

my travel resolution is to motor to Destin Florida from Nova Scotia spending my nights along the way at the Best Western's so I can accumulate my points

This past summer our family of six drove across Canada out west to the Rockies, Yoho and as far as Golden B.C. We headed south through the States and back north-east home. We had a highlight stay in the Thunder Bay Ontario Best Western near the airport . There we signed up for the rewards programme and were given exceptional service!

Resolved in 2010: to visit at least 15 holy wells in Ireland in just two weeks. In fact, I managed to visit 21 holy wells (and finding them is sometimes part of the challenge). Resolution accomplished!

My husband is 80 and we are going to drive from Peterborough to California in April. We are taking our 60 yr old daughter with us to help drive.

We will be stopping at Memphis to see Graceland. Texas and Las Vegas on our way. In California we are going to San Fransico and then drive down Hwy 1 to see the Ocean and Mountains. We will visit Hollywood amongst other famous places.

We will be staying in hotels all along the way. This a quite a feat at our age, but we are going to do it!

While driving across South Dakota we encountered a huge thunderstorm causing us and most other traffic to stop along the interstate. The winds were reportedly over 90 mph. A couple of brave and foolish souls continued on. We had reservations at the BEST WESTERN in Mitchell S.D. When the storm died down we cntinued on and within a couple of miles saw those cars that continued blown off the road.! It was very comforting to check into the warm and safe BEST WESTERN in Mitchell. The proprieter was very friendly and attentive. The next day we continued on to the Black Hills where we again stayed in a very nice BEST WESTERN for 3 days of horseback riding, fishing, cave exploring and hiking. One thing that impressed me was how many people from around the world were at the same BEST WESTERN. We met several couples and families frrom Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Russia! Thanks for playing a pivitol part in a trip that my children will always remember!

My 2010 travel resolution was to travel with my husband to strengthen our relationship. I also wanted to go somewhere nice with my children, spouses and grandchildren. My resolution was met and exceeded.
Not only did I have a great time with family but we were treated with so much kindness by the people in the travel business. I'm really thankful for the kind and friendly people who make vacations extra special.
I hope to be able to travel more often in the coming year.

In September 2010, after a cruise from Copenhagen to Venice, my husband and I made our way to the island of Cres Croatia, his birthplace. We visited his the home where he was born and toured the home of his deceased grandfather. We had a rental car and toured the island from one end to the other as well as the island of Krk where I have a cousin and the beautiful Istrian penninsula. A dream come true. And oh yes, in Copenhagen, we stayed in the Best Western, on my birthday!

My family is spread out from one coast to the other. I would like to have everyone together again............maybe at a Best Western in the middle somewhere.

I had always planned a trip across canada, but before the grandbabies get too old, we are taking them to disneyland this year..they are 6 & 8..next year maybe canada, we took a trip across the states one year and covered 13 states...would love to do that again. Can't wait to do the cross canada!

This year I will see a shuttle launch, never caught one before. I wish to camp in the Everglades and to drive the Gulf coast from Key West to Brownsville TX, the last of the US mainland coast I haven't driven.

I have recently been asked to oversee our Anchorage, Alaska office at work. Unfortunately, there is no budget for travel. I would love to make a vacation that way with my family and surprise the 100 or so people that don't expect to see me any time soon! There's nothing more exciting than a surprise visit from the human resources rep!

My sister has lived in southern France for a couple years, and I would love to make a trip there to visit her this year. France has been my dream destination for 20 years, ever since studying the Palace of Versailles in high school - now having my sister there is just a bonus.

I recently retired from a year round special ed teaching schedule with only travel time opportunities during spring and winter breaks.
My 2011 resolution is to take advantage of the new unscheduled time, available to me, to travel more. I am especially looking forward to taking trips during mid-week when destinations are less crowded and prices tend to be more affordable. We have so many incredible places to see and things to do here in California that are within reasonable driving distance of the Bay Area. I have a long list of places to drive to, stay a night or two and leisurely enjoy the scenery and activities the area has to offer.
The $250 Best Western Travel Card would be a very nice addition to my travel budget.

Travel resolution is to travel more, sit at home less, and see all the sites this great country has to offer.

My resolution in 2011 is to be able to make reservations for my husbands 60th birthday in May of 2012. I hope to provide hotel rooms for us and 5 other couples to help him celebrate his big day. At least one person in each couple have been friends for a minimum of 13 years and we have known the majority of them for over 35 years.

My travel resolution is to continue our quest to ride all of Route 66. This year we plan to start in Chicago and travel to Joplin, Missouri.

My 2011 travel resolution is to build more family memories by journeying to the Maritime provinces in eastern Canada. My children are 11 and 14 years of age, which is perfect for family holidays where we can all, adults and children alike, enjoy the experiences and sights together. Last summer we had the trip of a lifetime when we went to Europe - and although we did considerable camping while there, I must say we enjoyed our Best Western hotel stays interspersed between the days of camping (so we could feel a little more human every once in a while). Our Maritime road trip will involve camping too, but we plan to break that up with some Best Western hotel stays again. A Best Western gift card would be a welcome addition to the budgeting plans for this holiday!

Starting from June Lake, Ca.,I've planned a mega trip this Summer.On my 2005 Honda Goldwing motorcycle, I'll take HWY 395 up to Reno, Nv. and up the pan-handle of Idaho to Sandpoint. Being a pilot, the Byrd Aviation Museum is a must stop for me. It's been awhile since I've visited Canada, so on to Glacier National Park. Across Canada HWY 1 to Winnipeg where I'll enter the USA in Minnesota. I have a fond memory of Winnipeg or not so fond; in 1973 I hit a moose...damn that's a big annimal! I'll continue on the lower end of the Great Lakes with a stop in Connecticut where my brother will join me for a bowl of Clam Chowder in Cape Cod. I haven't even thought the return trip but this one has got to be close to ten thousand miles. Every night will be spent at a Best Western and that is my resolution for 2011.

My resolution is to go on more short weekend trips within drivign distance. These are often more fun than the stressful airplane trip. I love going to Grand Marais every year and staying in a suite at that best western.

My travel resolution this year is to visit my sister and her family in Halifax. As a Maritimer now living in BC, I find it a treat to travel "home" and visit friends and hangout in some of my former haunts and stomping grounds.

My husband and I spent a week and a half on a road trip - the only thing missing was the station wagon! We traveled from So Cal to Park City, UT, stopping and seeing the sights along the way in Las Vegas, Mesquite, NV, and Cedar City, UT hiking, playing golf and bike riding. On the way home we hiked up the Narrows in Zion - what an experience and what a beautiful country we live in.

My wife and I have been wanting to go to Hawaii for over 30 years. Last year we celebrated our 50th weddidng anniversary. In September we were able to see our dream come true. We went to Hawaii and stayed 10 nights at the Best Western Coconut at Waikiki on Oahu. The hotel accomodations were marvelous. The staff was great. We had breakfast every morning at the hotel icluding fresh juices, fresh pineapple and other fruits and many other great breakfast items. It was a fantastic trip that we will never forget.

Years ago my husband and I decided to use our honeymoon money to bring his parents and a brother from war torn Croatia to Montreal (instead of taking a honeymoon) so they could attend our wedding.
19 years and three kids later we are still trying to take that honeymoon. It hasn't been easy but we are happy.

Last year my husband and I decided to take a road trip, our first vacation in I don't know how many years. We headed from Ontario down through Pennsylvania, and then stayed a few days in Washington DC. From there, we continued over to the coast and down through Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. Then we tracked west and north, up through the Blue Ridge parkway and then into Lexington Kentucky in time for the last 4 days of the World Equestrian Games (the first time the WEG has been held outside of Europe). Most of the trip, we stayed at Best Western. We have decided that we must do a road trip every year - this year it might be New England!

I will definitely be staying at the Best Western Hibiscus again this year!

My goal is to take my daughters and husband to Eastern Canada to show them where I grew up - Quebec and the Maritime Provinces...

My travel accomplishment for 2010 took place on my birthday on May 13, 2010. My husband had asked me what I wanted to do for this very significant birthday as I was turning 75 years! I said my greatest wish was to make a trip to our favorite ski mountain (Mammoth Mountain, CA), and be able to ski all day on my birthday. As senior skiers (skiers since the 70's), we have season passes for Mammoth and try to get up there as often as possible, usually one week per month during ski season. My birthday was a really special ski day, as the weather was clear with a cloudless blue sky and great snow. The day was perfect, as my gift included a new pair of skis and a wonderful dinner out at a gourmet restaurant with friends.

I would like to take my grandchildren to Disneyland this year.

My travel goal for 2010 is to hike in Big Bend, Texas and in 2011 to run my first ever marathon.

My wife and decided to test our snowbird wings last fall with a six-week southern road trip, capped by a canal-front house rental in Siesta Kay. Leaving the last week in October and returning the first week in December, we combined our holiday with a tour of the Old South, stopping off in Savannah and Cedar Key, then Saint Augustine and Charleston, SC on the return trip. And Best Western provided us with timely and comfortable accommodation when weather forced us to 'hole up' in some places. We had so much fun, we'll do Arkansas and New Orleans on our way to Florida later this year. As for the way back, who wants to come back?

My travel resolution: Visit at least one new country and flounder around in its language. Camp near home, sleeping on the ground and looking more closely at the leafs and petals of my home state.

My travel resolution for this year is to travel more for pleasure and less for work!

We are planning to have a Family reunion in FL to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

My travel resolution for 2011 is not really for me per se, it's for my wife and daughter. I always wanted to celebrate our anniversary at Walt Disney World in Florida, however due to financial reasons, our daughter had foot surgery, etc; we were not able to go the past few years. I hope this year we can take a special trip down in "Land of the Mouse" :)

Our son was born on 9/11. Yes, miracles happened that day. We told our family (giving them plenty of time to save for the trip) when our son turns 10 and he is old enough to enjoy the rides, we are taking him to Disney World. Well, that is this year and we are planning the trip. We went to Disney World in '95 and had scratched it off our bucket list, then we had our wonderful son. He is very active in sports, etc. and will really enjoy Disney World. Can't wait to take him. We love Best Western, reasonable rates, comfortable accommodations and you can find one just about anywhere.

Forty-eight years ago my wife and I spent our honeymoon in New Orleans and we have never have been back as we promised ourselves back in 1963. We didn't have much money to spend but we did go to a place called Court of Two Sisters and ordered a drink in a glass shaped like a latern glass w/ 2 straws so we could share the one drink. We don't remember where we stayed but it was on the outskirts of town where the rates were lower. We do have pictures of the motel but are sure it is no longer there. We plan to visit our daughter in Fairhope, AL and then go on to New Orleans in June for another honeymoon if the Lord be willing.

I would like to go to Tibet to see the Potala and Tsuglakhang.

My 2011 travel resolution is to go to WEST PALM BEACH FLORIDA for the Barrett-Jackson Antique Car Auction this April. My hubby and I are going to spend a few days enjoying each other and our antique car addiction. And believe me the prize would be a big help in paying for our stay at the Best Western Hotel near the West Palm beach airport.

I would like to see my husband (83) see his brother (80) in No. Carolina and he very much wants to drive from CA. He loves driving and is a good driver and we enjoy the journey along the way and love to stay at Best Westerns. However, the price of gas may be a problem. This would sure help the situation. I've never travelled outside of Ontario and would love to go to British Columbia. Every picture I've seen of that province from my family members who live there is just beautiful and I'd love to see it in person. I don't get to see my family very often and have been trying to find the time and money to go out there for years.

We hope to visit 10 National Parks in 2011. We have already visited Sequoia and Joshua Tree.

I fulfilled my travel resolution for 2010 by repeating our family vacation to Rivieria Maya over Thanksgiving - gotta love it on the beach!

My wife and I(retired) stay at Best Western first. From March 2010 to February 2011 we will have spent 150 nights in 13 Best Western hotels in Canada and the U.S. Some of our stays where a vacation and the rest(135) are attributed to the birth of our first grandson in San Francisco. We are staying at the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel and are absolutely thrilled with this hotel, the management and their staff. We will be returning regularly in the future for family visits and to see our friends at the Grosvenor. Anyone planning a trip to San Francisco should check out this hotel first.

I spent over 120 nights in over 10 Best Western Hotels in 2010. My resolution this year is to stay in over 20 Best Western Hotels and exceed 200 nights. I have never had accommodations that were unacceptable. I have had some really great experiences. Such as the night I got a flat tire in a blizzard and the hotel called not only to check on me, but one desk associate ventured out in the snow to several service stations trying to find assistance for me. I stay at that hotel weekly and one just could not be treated better than the staff at the Jamaica Inn in Jamaica NY treats me. Although, the Best Western Grant Park in Chicago does have an incredible property with 5 star staff. Best Western Plus Lehigh Valley Hotel And Conference Center, Bethlehem PA also has great accommodations with plenty of food and lounge choices and great rooms. The list goes on. I love staying at Best Western and I would also like one of my 2011 stays to be in another country.

Our family's travel goal for 2011 is to visit Charleston and Myrtle Beach, SC this spring. Much warmer than where we are from:)

My resolution is to make the most of my time off and travel the world -- with adventures unlike anything I've ever seen, rather than the same old, same old.

I travel frequently for business purposes. During my travels I frequently stay at Best Westerns. My wife and I discussed traveling for Spring Break this year and decided to go to a spring training for a major league baseball team. We will be traveling with our two children to experience the fun of pre-season baseball. I am lucky enough to have some rewards points saved up and we are planning on making our vacation less expensive by redeeming those points. Thank you Best Western.

My 2011 travel resolution is to travel at least one weekend every month this year! So far so good! In January I celebrated the New Year in Paris, then visited Brussels, Belgium for a few days. In February, it's a business-personal trip to Dallas. I'll visit my Mom in Phoenix in March. In August, it's Wales. In September, Prague and Budapest. So much world, so little time!

Last year I spent two months achieved my goal of studying for 2 months in Italy and visiting small off the beaten path places. I studied in San Remo and in Lucca, visiting small beach towns like Bordighera and Allassio, and walking to Bussana Vecchia, the 11th century village that had been deserted due to an earthquake, but rebuild in part by artists who occupied the ruins. I visited Sarzana for the International Antique Fair, watched a joust in Pistoia, became a fan of the Palio in the small town of Bientina. I rode standing up in a 4 wheeler through the Alpuan Alps taking photos while bracing for the hairpin turns by leaning my elbows on the open sun roof. I cycled the countryside as well as the beach front. I tangled my brain learning of Italian Politics in Italian and watched a vigil in a town who was determined to resist the mafia. I heard the stories of the dead grandfather who really never died, a woman's first, only and terrifying ski experience, a lifelong residents insider story of Lucca and was taught new words by children. It was not my first visit, nor will it be my last. Italian is music for my soul.

In 2010 My family went to Yellowstone National Park. I have wanted to go for several years and share that not only with my husband but with the kids before they grew up and moved out - which isn't all that far off.

I am so glad I stuck to my guns and convinced them all it would be worth the drive as it was, and I know we'll all remember it for a long time!

My 2011 travel resolution is to visit my mom and family out of state. Seeing mom has been my biggest resolution of each year and so would be 2011.

I resolve to travel at a slower pace in 2011 so that I may stop and smell the roses!

I resolve to travel in 2011 only to the places that I love and that have Best Western accommodations.

My wife had visited and stayed in every state for 2 to 4 days but 5 states. They were all on the east coast. So last year I wanted to take her to those states. We did it with Maine being our last state.
This year I plan on taking her to Key West FL so she may swim and play with the Dolphins. This has always been her dream. She is 78 and has Mysathina Gravis so she has to use a wheel chair at times but that doesn't stop her. We checke for Best Western Hotels so we know where we will be staying. Also we want to go back to Maine to Acaida National Park so we can see the first sunrise in the US.

Sir, My resolution for 2011 is to fulfil my wifes dream of playing and swimming with the dolphins in Key West, FL. She has Mysathina Gravis and at times has to use a wheel chair. Both of us at 80 and 78 love to travel. We always feel safe when we stay at Best Western.

We travel regularly from St. Louis, Mo. to Portland, Or. (then to Newberg, Or.) to visit our daughter and granddaughter. It is our wish that Southwest (A Best Western partner) implement a non-stop round trip flight between cities..

My wife and I plan on going to the New England states this summer, as we've never been there. Looking forward to going to both new, and old travel spots. Enjoy Best Western the most, because we haven't found bedbugs at any of Best western suites we have stayed at, so far.

Due to my job redundance in Sept 2011 we are only planning a one week 2011 travel to see area around and in Thompson Mb. or Thunder Bay, Ont. I had the most amazing trip over Christmas 2010, despite being rerouted from landing in Europe because of the snow storms. (Had to go to Hong Kong). I went to Abu Dhabi, U.A. E. to see a girlfriend from Saskatchewan. It was so different than anywhere I've ever been and was glad to have experienced the middle east. The Arabian Gulf is stunningly blue and the country was very clean.
My resolution now is to see the other half of Canada. I've never been east of Toronto! When possible I too, enjoy seeing your signs in the cities, and find it a comfort to know that Best Western is all over the world.

My trip for 2011 would be to take my daughter to the Calgary Stampede. Her wish of a life time( at age 14!)

On June 27, 2010, we left VT and picked up Rte 66 in Springfield, MO where we spent 3 nights at the Best Western Rail Haven. We continued on the old route as much as possible to CA. We followed the coast as we had previously done from southern CA to WA. After spending several days in Vancouver, we re-visited the Grand Tetons and other much-loved places. We discovered many new favorites, such as the beautiful MI Upper Peninsula, while returning east. After 11,391 miles, 62 days, 30 states and 2 Canadian provinces, we returned home with many beautiful memories. 40 years ago we took our first cross country trip, camping each night; however, this time, we stayed in motels and looked forward to finding the familiar Best Western sign.

My resolution is to only stay at Best Westerns so I can maximize the REWARDS program ♥

My travel resolution for 2011 is to finally take my lovely wife on the European Trip that I have been promising her since before we were married. 2011 is the year! Plane tickets are already bought! Look out London/Paris/Rome, here we come!!

My girlfriend is 44 years old and she never traveled with her ex-husband. So last year I took her on her very first trip west. We left Wisconsin on a Friday after work and stayed in western Minnesota that night. From there we stopped at 1880 Town, Badlands and Mt. Rushmore on our way to Cooke City Montana. From there we went through the Yellowstone National Park and stayed in Cooke City for a couple more days. Heading home we went up Bear-tooth pass and in to Red Lodge. On to Billings and then to Devils Tower with a stay in Sundance. Next stop Sturgis during the bike rally, a first for both of us. From Sturgis we headed to the Corn Palace, The Great Plains Zoo and home. Great trip, a trip she said she would never forget.

I wish to see the sun more often this year. I live where the sun don't shine, literally......in Astoria, OR.

My resolution is to travel to a country I have never been to this year, where they speak a different language (from French, Spanish or English) so I can really get tge culture shock I like so much!!

In 2010 traveled to Europe for a vacation. Saw Father-in-law for last time in the UK. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer and died shortly thereafter. Traveled back for funeral.

We are thrifty in all aspects of our retirement to allow us the travel the world and see the wonderful sights and experiences of other societies and cultures. It is our retirement vice and we love it.

We hope to hit the Vietnam Cambodia region this year.

Always wanted to visit the grand canyon, this is going to be the year....

Our trip to Florida last fall and our trip to Cape Canaveral this month are the best of 2010 and our travel resolution for 2011. After days of delay in November, and months of waiting for the next launch attempt, we will be flying the 2000 miles back to take in the awesome experience of a Space Shuttle launch. Yeah, it is on our bucket list and one of the toughest to accomplish!

Even though times are tough economically for our family, we always resolve to get away, even if for only a short weekend to recharge our batteries and visit family that lives out of town.

My granddaughter turns 16 this year and she would like to visit DC and see all of the monuments and do the Smithsonian. I'd love to make this happen for her. Neena

Growing up, my family never traveled for leisure. We lived in IL and my mother was from northern farmland in Canada, so our yearly trip consisted of driving 24 hours straight to stay on a farm with NOTHING to do. So when I graduated college, I promised myself I would go out and see the world! However, sometimes life does not allow that...so this year, my resolution is to travel (by car, rail, bus or air!) at least once per month! So far in January, I traveled to two different big cities in the US, I am hitting up Chicago next weekend for restaurant week and the auto show, St. Louis for Mardi Gras, and I have another trip for every month of the year planned out...and I am NOT planning on missing any trips! I think this is the BEST resolution I have come up with so far in my life, and maybe the only one I will have ever kept :) So pick me for your winner, and I will promise not to disappoint!

My wife and I have set ourselves a new travel goal this year. From 2011 onwards we plan on going to see as many Wonders of the World as we can. Wish us luck!

We are now both retired as of Dec. and now we need some alone time.
So our dreams & wishes are to return to Arizona-Sedona-Tennessee-Texas.
These places they left us with some very impressive memories.
We had the opportunity to met with many delightful people along our way with incredible information pertaining to the areas we were visiting, their information was significant to the many places we had and were going to go to.

Many of our stops were usually for one or two days as that was our time and as far as our finances would take us.
So winning extra cash to put towards another trip would be marvellous.
We would just like to get away. This time we can stay longer than 1 or 2 days at one of our favourite B.W.H.

Some friends from Argentina are coming to visit us here in BC. We plan on taking them down to the Oregon Coast for some good R & R. We'll also tour around BC.

I am 74 years old and love to drive, anywhere, with my little dog. We went to Iowa last year to visit my daughter. We then went to Colorado and then back to Texas. We stayed at Best Westerns along the way because I know that they accept pets. I would love to go to Florida this year to see my first great grand baby. God willing and the creek don't rise, I will be there.

I would like to visit the land of my ancestors, Japan, to see where my grandparents lived and their culture and see living relatives. It is important to remember and honor past generations.

In August 2010, I finally fulfilled a life-time dream and drove across the country and back. I started in Pennsylvania and ended up in Hollywood via a southern route. My trip home (through Las Vegas, of course) was via a more northern route on Interstate 80. I saw many, many wonderful things and am proud to say that I stayed exclusively at Best Western hotels. I stayed at about 20 different hotels and they were all terrific.

We completed out resolution by taking a family vacation to Florida last year, this year our resolution is to take a family vacation to St. Louis!

As a single Parent I wanted to do something special with my young daughter. I asked her where she would want to go if we could go anywhere in the world...what I was not expecting was a list....the first was Egypt the next was Ireland, then poland etc. In 2009 I made the Egypt trip a reality. and Last year I made the Ireland trip come true. Ireland was extra special to us because that is our heritage. I was so thrilled to make this happen for my daughter. Sacrafices aside... it was totally worth it.... this year we will probably not be able to go to Poland (again our heritage) due to tight funds... but that is my next goal!

I have to say my best experience with travelling (other than going to Disney with my kids) was when my partner asked me to go to Mexico with him. We had only been dating for a very short time and here we were in Mexico! The all inclusive resort was amazing, the temperature, even though we went the first week of September (rainy season for Mexico) was awesome! We had such an enjoyable time, just relaxing with no cares in the world! It always seemed to me that travelling was a luxury, but now I see it as therapeutic...a well needed retreat from the every day hustle and bustle of family life....a chance to explore each other and the wonderful world around us...4 months later my partner proposed to me...I said yes!

I have a 12 year old whose favorite words are "road trip." No doubt this summer we'll roll out on a few or three. Likely destinations include Port Clinton and South Bass Island, Ohio and anothe chink of Route 66.

My 2010 Travel Accomplishment was touring Washington, D.C. after years of wanting to go and do it. I am 67 years old and saw all that I could possibly see in 3 days, needed a rest after returning home. Loved every minute, so much so, am going back in May with my husband, sister and brother-in-law to see more. We travel together all the time, they are the best travel companions ever.

On Dec 31 2010, I booked a flight to Australia leaving on March 18th -- even though I have broken my arm - fell on the icey sidewalk - I am determined to go and have a good time - just hoping its healed by that time-- there is so much to see and do there its a lovely country - weny there last year

with raffle proceeds going to the Haiti orphanage.
My dear cousin Scott, his wife and children adopted Claire Brydityzki
from Haiti and she was also present to the bowling ProAm. The family
stayed with us at the hotel and it was a very memorable weekend of our lives as we meet Claire for the first time (she had arrived just 3 wks prior).
This year we are continuing the efforts and we will be staying again at the BW Amador....a big thank you to KC there.

I'm going to travel "my way" and stop paying attention to the expectations and suggestions of others.

We had a great 2010 in traveling to China, seeing The Great Wall and Terracotta Soldiers plus going to Egypt in October to see pyramids, temples, and hieroglyphics!! Glad we saw Egypt before all the unrest problems! Unfortunately, we had a Feb 2011 Antarctica trip cancelled because ship hit a rock!!

I have a friend in Maui I haven't seen in about 15 years. I want to go this spring!

We have wonderful memories of our Sept, 2010 trip to California.
We took our four kids. Our 14 yr old birth daughter, our 7 yr old adopted son as well as our two foster kids 10 n 8 yrs old.
We first checked in to Best western across the street from Disneyland where we had a wonderful time and the accommodations were great for our four day stay.
Then we headed down without reservation looking for another best western, we found a cozy little one within walking distance of the beach.
Here they provided us with the use of lounge chairs for the beach as well as sand toys for the kids making it a great experience for us all..
Foster kids often get left behind when in foster care when families take family vacations. But thanks to best western and there wonderful prices and great accommodation they made it possible for us to share our family trip with these kids who have never been to Disneyland or ever seen the ocean. Thanks Best western.

I'm a loyal customer of Best Western for the past 5+ years. Whenever I travel either within USA or international I'll always forst look at if there any Best Western facility available with in 50 miles of my destination and always prefer to stay there. I don't mind staying 50 miles away to get the best price and service offerred by Best Western. Go Best Western :)

We love the motorcycle and Best Western we discovered last year is the best for bikers as we get a discount and they have towels and make us feel just a little bit more special than other hotels. My resolution is to just stay Best WEstern on our bike trip this year.

This is OUR year to travel! We two have the time and a great car to wander the USA this year at our leisure. No security lines and flight delays at the airport for us! If we can't drive there, you won't find us there this year. Scenic drives and small beachtowns beckon during the summer months, but first, we can't wait to trade the midwest cold, snow & ice for some Florida sunshine next week. A trip across the middle of the country towards California is already in the planning stages for this fall. We always stop to see family & friends as we pass through their regions, but we don't like to stay overnight with them. Best Westerns suit me just fine. Besides, we can't linger very long. We have to be on our way - another adventure is waiting just down the road...

My husband and I are in our 70s and will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary next June and we plan to travel to Mich. and Canada to commemorate our anniversary.

I plan to go on a nice sunny vacation with my boyfriend after graduating from SFU! :) We're thinking of going to Hawaii most likely, and we want to take a cruise there.

I plan on taking my wife of 47 years to British Columbia for our anniversary. One place we love to stay is the Best Western Colonial Inn in Bellingham, Washington. We will stay in a Best Western affiliate in BC.
We are also going to California for a golf tournament and look forward to staying in Best Westerns on our way to, during and returning from California.

Took my wife on a little drive in my 30 year old Triumph. From Tacoma to San Diego and back for a regional Triumph car show. San Diego beaches, a Gold concours award, Big Sur and the redwoods with the top down.

The girls and I finally had a 4 day shopping trip in Grove City! That doesn't sound like much but when two of us are shift workers, it is very hard to co-ordinate schedules! My hubby and I have had numerous trips to the Niagara region wine country and have enjoyed our stays at the Best Westerns in the area. The people are always friendly and helpful at the front desk and our stay is always comfortable.

I attended a conference in Victoria BC in Sept 2010. The day after the conference was over, my husband and oldest daughter drove in from Whitby Ontario. They had driven 4400 km (2734 miles) across Canada. That same night our youngest daughter flew in from Toronto to meet us. We all went out for dinner to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Our daughters had left their young families at home to spend some time with us and it was an incredible adventure.
From Victoria we drove to Tofino, Gabriola Island, Vancouver, Okanagan Valley, Banff, the Cowboy Trail, Radium Hot Springs and small towns and big cities across this wonderful country. We saw old forts, elk, moose and wolves, watched the salmon run, adored the beautiful prairies, wonderful Winnipeg, visited family, met new friends, took a thousand pictures and fulfilled a long time promise to ourselves.
The girls left us in Winnipeg and the two of us meandered home to southern Ontario – basking in the gratitude of spending this precious time we had with them and knowing that we were given an opportunity of a lifetime.

In July 2010, our family, aging from 45 to 3 years old, set off in our van from Saskatoon to British Columbia. New Westminster is a two nights stay away from Saskatoon. So, with our Best Western catalogue in hand, we were easily able to choose hotels along the way. Our favourite by far was the new Best Western in Kamloops. Journying home, our second favourite was Vernon. The river running through the hotel was calming and the kids especially enjoyed the ducks who snuck in. Our 2011 resolution is to take the kids to Disneyland as they have proven to us that they are ready to travel. Thanks, Best Western, for the service on our journy.

Last year we flew to Phoenix for $840. This year it is almost $2100. So we are going to drive down and we are going to be nice and not argue all the way there and way the way back. That is almost 7000kms round trip. Wish us luck. We are also going to stay in Bestwestern's along the way. If you stay 3 nights, you can get 1 night free. We usually stay at Bestwestern's anyways.

Our Mother passed away 1 1/2 years ago. My mentally challenged brother has lived with her all his life. Never went anywhere. We plan on taking a trip out west this coming fall and show him some of the United States. We took him to Florida and he was so amazed at the ocean, we want him to see the Grand Canyon, etc. He has lives all his life in a small town and eating out for him was getting a grilled chicken sandwich at a BP gas station. While we are all still physically able, we would like to make a month long trip and show him the western part of the United States.

To celebrate my mom's birthday in 2010 we went on a trip together - something we haven't done in years!

Friends of ours moved to Australia years ago, and our goal is to travel there to see them, and while we are the other side of the planet, tour beautiful green New Zealand as well.

I plan to fly to and stay in L.A. at a B.W. very close to my son's aparttment, visiting my son learning to surf and snowboard then visit my parents in Phoenix also staying at the very close B.W. there.

Go back to Helsingborg Sweden and stay with the great staff there.

Our best family summer vacations have always been road trips to National Parks. In 2010, we visited several California Nat'l Parks (Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia, Redwoods) with our young adult children - who are nowl happy to go on those long hikes and listen to ranger talks. Travel goal for 2011? At least one National Park visit this summer - and hopefully can get the kids to join us.

Going to Montana from Calgary and exploring the southern destinations on route - a change from the normal trips up north.

Finally visited the Bahamas last year. It was warm and a great break from the snow!

My husband and I travel the month of July each year covering a new part of the U.S. and ending in Rehoboth Beach with friends and family before heading back to Arizona. This year we are going to spend time in the New England states, NH, VT, ME especially, that we have not visited before. We will be staying at Best Westerns along the way as they have proven themselves as excellent accomodations over the past 4 trips.

Since becoming a caregiver for my mother, I haven't been able to travel much lately. Now that she's doing a lot better I resolve to do a bit more traveling this year, starting with Las Vegas.

I'd like to travel at least one place totally new this year.

Before I saw this contest, my husband and I had made a resolution to plan a minimum of a 3-day trip every month in 2011, beginning in March.

I resolve to take a trip to Ireland this year.

I traveled to London England this past June, and plan to travel to Ireland in 2011. I try to take 2 trips a year, this way I can see the world at a much faster pace.

In 2010, my husband, our 3 kids, and I travelled outside of the U.S. as a family for the first time. We went to Mexico, about 1 1/2 hours south of Cancun. We had an absolutely wonderful time! We are looking forward to our next vacation together and hoping it happens before our son graduates and moves away to attend college. We'll have to see what we can afford.

This year I plan to visit Savannah,GA and Charleston, SC for the history and proximity to the ocean. I would also like to photograph the butterflies and birds of Costa Rica.

In 2010 I returned for the first time in 54 years to a town in Utah where I was born. The car trip through Utah was interesting but I'd rather live in Alaska.

In 2011 I would like to travel to South America more often.

I worked as a Security Supervisor at the Athletes Village, in Whistler, for 9 weeks, during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. I also worked as a Security Personnel, at the G8 Summit in Huntsville, Ontario, a couple of months later. These were two of my most memorable experiences of my life. The people I met and the experiences I had are too numerous to list.

My father bought a small restaurant business in Los Angeles when i was about 12 years old. From then on, through college degrees, I worked for the family business during any vacation time I had. All the traveling I wanted to do was put on hold. After graduation came my career, and again, my travel desires were put on hold so I could work. Finally, in 2009, I retired at the age of 63 and it was time to put my travel plans at the top of the priority list. The first travel goal I met was in 2010 and it was to drive Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles with my wife. We took our time, staying in a lot of Best Westerns! It was as much fun as I expected it to be, and recording the countryside with my camera has given us some wonderful permanent memories. We plan to take at least one long road trip a year from now on. In 2011, we plan to drive up the Pacific Coast Highway to Oregon, and back to Los Angeles down the center of the state, recording the coast views and the central valley views with our camera once again. We look forward to staying in Best Westerns along the way as they are very comfortable!

Every year our resolution is to visit a place we have never been, for us the best way to plan a trip is to consult the Best Western Hotel Guide...
We take a look at the maps in the book, see where the B.W. hotels are on our planned itinerary, look them up by state, province, or country, learn from the internet what, when, where about each hotel...
Always exciting, and for the next adventure in April we fly into Las Vegas(from Montreal), where we have already a choice of 5 BW hotels!!! Then we will drive through Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico, visiting Sedona, Grand-Canyon, Page, Cortez, Chinle, Albuquerque, and besides the spectacular & breathtaking vistas, we will always be happy and curious about our next stay at a Best Western...!!! As I get older, I find I would like to revisit many of the places our father took the family to after he retired from the Air Force. We spent the entire summer traveling all over the US that year and I would really love to go back to Yellowstone Nat'l Park this year as my first trip around America. I loved the park with the history, nature and the various geological features. The surrounding area was great also. It would be wonderful to be able to take a couple of weeks and reacquaint myself with the area.

My travel resolution is to take my running shoes and my swimming suit whenver I go to a Best Western. I need to make sure that I take the time to take care of myslef and exercise.

2010 was a banner year for travel as we raced to a 3rd and 5th in two different classes in our Northwest road racing series sponsored by the ICSCC. This included 12 weekends of racing with repeated stays in Portland, OR, Mission, BC and Spokane, WA at Best Westerns and at other locations where no Best Westerns are availabe. We even participated in a NASCAR support race in Portland where 37 BMWs provided more exciting racing than the NASCAR guys did.

I intend to try all three types of Best Western Hotels while traveling to someplace new with my recently widowed Mom. I want her to be able to see new places ,to forget some of the anguish of the last year, and enjoy herself.

My travel resolution is to make it south - to South America!!! I have never been further than the florida keys and I lived in Florida for 10 years so I want to go on a trip to South America and see a new part of the world. I'm not sure how or when but its my goal and I intend it to happen.

My goal this year is to travel to S.F. at least 3 times to see the my favorite baseball team & new world champions the GIANTS!!!

I want to see at least 2 new places this year - either with beautiful Canada or outside of it!

My travel resolution for 2011 is to fly Cathay Pacific first class.

My resolution for 2011 is to finally get my butt to Las Vegas! I'm 26, travel for a living and have never been! $250 would help out!

We did our 2011 resolution by driving across the Northern part of the US from Oregon to Conn., and then down to Florida. First time to Yellowstone, Mt Rushmore, Hot Springs, R n R Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Chicago, Niagra Falls, and the USS Nautilis submarine in Groton, Conn, Stayed in Best Western several times. Good rates, rooms.
