Probably the most romantic place I have been to w/ my husband in Hawaii on Ohau but would love to revisit with him and hear the music and enjoy all the flowers, the beach and we haven't been back since we were last stationed there in 1982

I would love to go to the Bahamas with my husband. We have never had a honeymoon. also he is a solider and so we dont get to much time together. It would be a nice place to just relax and spend time toghether before he has to go back down range to Afganastan. My Danish-summer-romance beau took me to see the local castle in Sonderborg. We were practically the only visitors on that late afternoon and it was easy to imagine the place as our own. It was even easier when we realized the room had been locked as the staff prepared to leave for the night. Our calling out (pre-cellphones) brought an embarrassed young man with a huge key ring to our rescue.

Before we left he told us that a former King had been confined in that very room, and pointed out the worn path in the wooden floor from the captive King's pacing.

I'd like to get back ti Undersaker, Sweden where 3 of my grandparents came from. I can still visit houses where my great grandfather lived and worked before leaving in 1871, for northern Maine.

When we got married we didn't take a honeymoon. My husband surprised me with a trip to Maui for our tenth wedding anniversary. We loved it (aside from the long plane flight). It is absolutely beautiful there.

The most romantic place I've ever been to has to be the Mayan Riviera. I enjoyed wonderful walks along the beach with my husband.

I have never been here, but I would like to be around the presque islands, in the summer or fall. To do some hiking and enjoy the waterfalls it is beautiful preserves ful of nature and beauty. SO much to see, even the apostles islands up in bayfield.

In Feb 2010, darling hubby (of 36 years) and I visited S.E. Asia; and we had the most exciting, most romantic time of our lives. After touring much of Laos and Angkor Wat in Cambodia, we ended with a week on Koh Laanta in the South of Thailand. The resort--La Laanta--was exactly what we needed after heavy-duty touring. The staff waited on us so sweetly that week, with wonderful meals presented 3 times a day. The pampering of the staff, the gentle lapping waves of the Andaman Sea, and the privacy of your own "house" make this trip beyond romantic:) and our dream is to return for our 40th anniversary!

The most romantic date was very sporadic and we went to the lake. We ate a picnic lunch and walked over the bridge and took a paddle boat ride. It was simple, but very intimate. I meant he really took the time to get to know me. My favorite romantic destination is Maui by far. It truely is remarkable from the ocean, the scenery to the whales.

The most romantic getaway was actually at home. My husband arranged for all the kids to be somewhere for the weekend and it was just the two of us, which doesn't happen very often! He arranged a few dates and even had a friend come in and clean up while we were out for the day as if had actually been at a hotel!

I would take a trip to Canada's Rocky Mountains, Canmore Banff or Lake Louise, and book a private helicopter tour to a remote mountain plateau, only accessible by air. Heli tours drop us off with champagne, a picnic lunch and all the trimmings, and we would spend the afternoon entirely alone up there. Ultimate gorgeous experience that we can share as a couple, alone! One day we will do this :)

I am lucky because my son lives in Honolulu, so have visited several of the islands. My favorite romantic getaway was the Parker Ranch on the Big Island, since my husband and I love ranching, horses, and cattle. We stayed in a house that used to belong to a ranch foreman. Just beautiful.

I've been all over the world, mainly to Asia. I haven't yet been to Thailand though, and I'd really love to visit there one day. Most romantic place I've been is probably Burma, and it has nothing to do with who I was with or anything, but everything to do with the people of the country, the culture, and just how the country made me feel.

so far the most romantic place I've been is Redwoods in Yosemite. I'd love to go to the beach and spend a quite weekend.

My most favorite and romantic spot is Monterey Bay, California. We stay at the Best Western Monterey Bay Resort. We love to have aroom on the side toward the bay so that we can leave the trapdoor open to listen to the waves crash on the beach all night long. This is especially nice in mid to late October.

I went to the small islands off belize , such as Ambergris Caye. The water is so blue and you can snorkel with exotic fish and you stay in grass huts (cabins) . The people are so friendly and layed back and the outside world just disappears.Awesome !

Park City Utah. We went and rode the Heber Valley Railroad for one of their Murder Mystery rides for our 8th Anniversary and then stayed in Park City that night. It was a lot of fun! And getting to spend time together was the best part!

I think the most romantic place we have been to is Puerto Rico! My husband and I went on a trip two years ago. It was Christmas, so the plazas in San Juan were decorated and beautiful! After leaving San Antonio,Tx.,My wife and I began a road trip that took us north to Montana and then south to Phoenix Arz.We depended on Best Western' to provide very comfortable accomadations at the end of each day's travel, We were not let down.My wife called ahead to confirm and in most all occasions they knew and greeted us as we arriveed.She had called ahead as we approched Phoenix.When we arrived she went in to register,when we arrived at The ROOM I was blown away,she had taken a Suite.What a treat!,it had all amenities from flat screens(even in the bedroom)to all appliances.What a Romantic Evening!

The Florida Keys....The water there was such a beautiful color and our visit there was too short. I would love to go back and really take they time to enjoy it.

Picture palm trees, a hammock tied between two of them, warm water breezes coming off the azure blue sea. We walk over soft white sand, past the fragrant flowers, to our spot. We take off our sandels and climb inot the hammock. On the table next to us, under a pastel umbrella is an exotic drink with an umbrella in it and fuit. We sip it watching the waves and relax.

My boyfriend and I decided to spend the weekend in Toronto (even though its only 20 min away from home) just to get away and go on a mini vacation together. We went for dinner the first night at a restaurant that is on the 51st floor of an office building so we got to see the skyline of Toronto in a beautiful, intimate restaurant. We had amazing food, and wine and then got the hostess to take a picture so we can keep our memory :)

I would absolutely love to go to Key West with my man. Nothing better than a romantic stroll along the beach, have a beautiful view of the sunset while having a romantic dinner and finish it off at the Best Western hotel.

For me, the hands-down most romantic place in the world is Paris. It was there, on New Year's 2012, that the culmination of ring hiding and nervous secrecy came to fruition. My husband and I got married September 19th, 2009 and our financial situation was very bleak. I have multiple schlerosis and had to leave my job in 2008. We didn't have much money for the wedding, so I made all the decorations and the invitations. To me our wedding day was the most romantic place that we have been together. We had planned to try to save enough money to go somewhere romantic in the future, but my husband got hurt at work January 2011, so our finances have really taken a turn for the worse. We have always wanted to go to Hawaii to see the sun rise and set while strolling on the beaches. The serenity of the beaches I think is just what the doctors ordered

My favorite place (so far) has been Destin FL. We don't have the chance to travel very often and it has been about 10 years since we were there. We loved it..the white sand beaches, the food, just overall a beautiful place!

My dream vacation would be to take a second honeymoon with my wonderful husband to Hawaii! To us Hawaii is the land of warm milk and honey with a little cookie on the side! We have worked all our lives to build our retirement and be able to enjoy traveling to places that we wanted to see before we were too old to enjoy them! I have had a few health issues and have been unable to work for a few years and now our retirement fund is not building up as it once did, so our plans to travel may be put aside to provide for our health and welfare in our older years! A family trip to Hawaii would be a dream come true! Thanks!

Most romantic spot to date has been a remote island in the chain of 700 islands in the Bahamas. No one for miles and just the crystal clear ocean waters and pure white sand as company while we went snorkeling. Quite memorable!

My husband and I took a trip to Florida before we were married. My supervisor at work recommended we take a break from Orlando and Disney and drive over to a place called Siesta Key. Been lots of places love them all, but this nov 2011 we went to pigeon forge, tn and the smokers , rented a tiny cabin, just the two of us , ( dog too) we spent 4 days and nights, relaxing by the fire , In the hot tub, eating in and out, and then renewing our wedding vows at the exact same day and time on our 30th anniversary,. On the grand staircase of the titanic museum,, a great trip!

The most romantic place I've ever traveled in Wiesbaden, Germany. My husband and I met there in high school and, several years later, were stationed nearby when we were both active duty. Both our children were born in the AF Hospital there. A few years ago, we went back, just the two of us, and wandered around, visited favorite places from the past and enjoyed Sekt (German sparkling wine) as we toasted our anniversary. It's a VERY romantic city.

I think the most romantic destination would be Hawaii. My husband and I have often talked about going, but something always seemed to get in the way. We were young and I was still in college when we got married, so our honeymoon was camping in Estes Park in a little LUV truck. Wife dropped a hint a couple years ago that she would like to celebrate her 60th birthday at a luau in Hawaii. Well with much planning we managed to surprise her with a complete family luau at Germaines on Oahu. I took her there and we visited all the islands then the second night on Oahu was the luau. The rest of the family, grandkids etc arrived unbeknownst to her and snuck up behind her at the luau table. Noone has ever been so surprised and we all had a fantastic time. Would love to go on another romantic and exciting evening like that one again with her.

But...after a lot of thought, I would say the most romantic spot would be in a log cabin anywhere (well the Canadian Rockies to be precise) with a lake out front. To dine by candlelight and watch the stars awaken, than cozy up by a warm fire and well...sleep because with 2 toddlers we haven't had that luxury, than wake up and have coffee at sunrise and watch a new day begin. On Yew Year's Eve of 1988 my husband and I were stuck in Florence, Italy. We were backpacking, and every hostel was full. So we decided to buy some wine and to take the overnight train to Venice. Eventually we found ourselves roaming the damp, foggy, echoing streets of Venice; all the tourists had left. The town was ours. All the lights were still up. It was so QUIET, with sounds of just footsteps and water lapping, after the traffic of Rome and Florence and the noise of the train! We found a sort of fun house like you see in the local carnival; the proprietor opened it up just for us and a handful of others. The trick vent when I exited blew my long skirt up, and everyone laughed. It was very dreamlike and magical, and romantic in the true sense of the word.

Jackson Hole Wyoming. We stayed there a week and played in the snow. Did not go for sking but loved the week. Our cabin had a view out over a ield with deer and elk to watch while sitting in front of a real fire place.

I'm single but thought Lover's Beach in Cabo San Lucas was heavenly. Get dropped off, feeling stranded with sun and sand (and then get picked up again!)

On our first anniversary my wife and I went to San Francisco,CA. for the week end because we could not afford the honeymoon of our dreams. We took in the sights and then went to the beach and had a picnic. While we were sitting there an elderly couple walked by, each holding a cane. Walking hand-in-hand in the rain along the cobble-stoned beauty of Old San Juan, San Juan, Puerto Rico, en route to a delicious restaurant, was probably my most romantic date.
My future goals include taking the man I love to Venice, Italy and kissing him on the Ponte della Costituzione (English: Constitution Bridge) which is a gorgeous pedestrian bridge spanning the Grand Canal.

One of the most romantic places that my wife and I visited was San Francisco. We stayed there all summer as part of a summer research opportunity. We had plenty of time to explore most of the city, and had a romantic dinner at one of the big hotels atop Nob Hill. That dinner was at the end of our trip, and we danced to "I left my heart in San Francisco"! Sweet!!

For my wife and I, Aruba is definitely the place! We love to have a torchlit dinner on the beach at sunset. Nothing like eating a gourmet meal with your toes in the sand with your love at your side!

My wife and I enjoyed a romantic trip to the Hawaiian islands. We were on Kauai which is not as populated as some of the other islands. We hiked the rain forest. Back near our hotel we stopped at a bar called the Trade Winds and had the best Mai Tai's!

My husband proposed to me in the courtyard of Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans. He wanted to pop the question while we were riding on a surrey, but other people got on too. We enjoyed exploring the city by streetcar. We had great meals and enjoyed dancing to Cajun music.

My mosr romantic spot my wife and I went too was Disney World for our honeymoon 15 yrs ago. Specifically, it was a Wednesday night and we went to Epcot for the day and we decided as part of our Disney Wedding Package to go to an Italian Restaurant. The food was excellent, and they serenaded us too. Also what made it sweeter was a thunderstorm had just come when we were in the restaurant and a nice mist was their when we came out of the restaurant before heading back to the hotel. It was almost like we were in Italy.

The most romantic place I've been with my boyfriend was actually where he was born, an island called Jersey, which is off the coast of France situated in the English Channel. Spending time on the secluded beaches that only the locals know, and walking along the beautiful country side, and cliff paths are some of my best memories I have.

My Husband and I stayed at Best Western Vine Skegness UK last year. We had a beautiful room, had our lunch in the garden where Lord Tennyson wrote prose. We had the most wonderful food and service. So much in fact that we have booked two days this spring. To us the accommodations and service make a romantic get away.

To me, Disneyworld is romantic. Nothing beats snuggling in front of the castle watching fireworks or a carriage ride through Port Orleans resort. Dinner for two from the California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort is amazing as well.

The best place I been to was on a cruise to the Caribbean, Norwegian Song of Norway was so beautiful and the three Island we stop on was spectacular and the food on the ship was so good,the midnight buffet and all the food and the ice sculpture spectacular,but the best part of the all trip was every evening after midnight me and my husband went to the very top of the crown and sit there all buy are self and cuttle up looking at the ocean....love to do it all over again.

Maui!!! we got married on a beach there and we'd love to go back either for an anniversary just the 2 of us or for a family vacation with the whole gang.
next place on our list though is Las Vegas, we're going in March just to get away for a few days. We're not the types to just sit on a beach and drink cocktails, we prefer a place where we can wander freely and explore (Maui is great for that, totally safe to wander off your resort grounds, and there's so much to see and do!)

Sedona in Arizona is my vote for a romantic getaway. The scenery is so unique and majestic you will be awed by it's beauty. There is plenty of shopping with lovely works of art and fabulous southwestern and mystical decor. There is no shortage of lovely restaurants with every type of food. The whole city is simply enchanting and inspiring!

Haleakala National Park (Hawaii). Driving the winding, often foggy road to the top of the dormant volcano is worth the trip. My wife and I made trip twice and snuggled together, wrapped in a hotel blank or towels to keep warm until the sun rises ''above' the clouds....soooo romantic.

I would like to travel to Montana with my wonderful wife for a ski trip and a visit to Going to the Sun Road at Logan's Pass and tour Glacier National Park. It's some of the most scenic land in the country. A great way to get away, relax, get back to nature and enjoy the great sport of skiing.

A simply trip to the coast of Oregon, rain or shine, in the BW Agate Beach. A stroll on the beach or staying in the room with a nice brie, baguette and bottle of wine would be a delicious holiday.

By far the most romantic place would be New Orleans. That may sound odd, but when you are a student of both history and the occult, it is a fascinating place. The nightlife can be whatever you make it, including romantic. I mean, how much more romantic can you get than a carriage ride around the quarter at dusk in the spring or fall? You can't. =)

My husband and I will be married 35 years. From the time our kids we small the only vacations we had were camping because money was always tight. A few years ago when the kids both moved out on their own, my husband and I took a trip to Ocean City MD. It's close to home and it's a great great away. We had the time of our life. It was like being 18 again with no worries. When we got back we vowed to go again. However, the economy claimed us as victims and my husband has been laid off I don't see us being able to take another trip in a long long time.

I would love to travel to Hawaii for a second honeymoon. A do-over since we were broke for our original one and didn't have a real honeymoon.
