I would travel across the US to see friends and family. I have family in 4 different states. I'd also like to see states I have never seen before like Vermont, and New York. I've always wanted to see the Empire State Building.

I would take my wife to Florida and to Washington State to visit her family. I would also give some of the reward points to my step-son who doesn't have money to travel and donate the rest to Wounded Warriors.

If I had 1 million Best Western points, I'd use them to take my sweet wife of 25 years to the Best Western in Athens, Greece for our anniversary. When we married, I had $80 to my name (but no debt!). Over the years we were blessed to be able to adopt 2 beautiful children, a boy and a girl, a "millionaire's family" as they say. Just wish I had the million dollars to go with it!

Things haven't always gone easily, but through it all, she has been an amazing woman of strength, compassion, humour and grace. She makes me want to be a better man! She is thoughtful with regard to our elderly neighbours, always sending a dinner plate or some baked goods to a widow/widower, etc. She teaches Kindergarten and not only do her students love her, but their parents do as well. She's phenomenally gifted but utterly humble.

So if I had 1 million points, I would take her to Greece for our 25th anniversary. We'd see the Acropolis and the Oracle at Delphi, and perhaps even travel to a couple of the Greek Islands, like Mykonos or Santorini (yes I've been researching!)

I have been with my husband 20years this year and its our 10yr anniversary on the 30th July and we have never taken a vacation without our children. I would love to take a vacation for just the two of us to a beach getaway and just enjoy each other. Knowing I couldnt spend all my points at one location I would allow the children to go to the BW Sterling Inn here in Michigan for a weekend getaway as well.

By Valarie Holm on July 9, 2013 4:54 AM

I would just drive out of my driveway and go. Whatever direction felt right, and keep driving until I found a Best Western at the end of the day. Then continue doing that, sightseeing along the way, until I ran out of points! Wandering is the best travel!

By James McIver on July 9, 2013 5:03 AM

If I had 1 million rewards points I would take our entire family on a family trip. I come from a family of 7 children and my wife has 5 siblings. There are lots of us and I would take the entire family to California to visit our nephew who lives in Palm Springs. Each year my wife plans a trip for our family but most of the time there are some members of family who can't go because they can't afford it. This would be my way of giving back and making a dream come true for the McIver family. I'm claiming this early so thanks Best Western!

By Richard Marcoux on July 9, 2013 5:05 AM

I would do a tour of Europe and take all the time I need to really enjoy their way of life.

I would spend some quality time exploring, having fun and relaxing with my children. We cannot afford vacations so we would love to be trippin with best western!!

If I had one million BW points, I would take my husband, 2 children, myself and the grandparents on a vacation to Scotland. Our daughter is a highland dancer and has been greatly supported in this sport by my mother, who was diagnosed with brain cancer 8 months ago. She has been battling the disease fiercely. One of her dreams is to watch her grandaughter compete in Scotland. The points would allow us to make this family vacation a reality, while my Mom is still well enough to travel.

How would I spent 1 million Best Western travel miles? Traveling. Would start with a sister's reunion at Best Western Inn of the Ozarks. Vickie and Bob might be able to bring a boat. Yvette loves the idea. Patrice and Damon might enjoy it too. Then to remember mother, we would go to Red Lobster and convert points for some great eats. With choices like Chilis, Carrabbas, Outback we will be eating great. We love Cozie en bianco at Carrabbas and there is plenty to share. YUM. OK then we trade for some airline miles.
Alaska airlines sounds terrific for a NorthWestern trip with Jackie and Bev. Best Western Plus Vancouver. Our son Bruce loves Vancouver. Mall is a great place to start. Highly rated and free breakfast. Then we try Delta (for Cincinnati folks) and do a fun vacation...BestWestern -Dunes in Tybee Island in July is awesome for seeing brother Mike, and nieces, Sarah, Shawn and Casey. Casey's new husband Jack loves Tybee. And we try SouthWest Airlines for some time in Utah, Bryce Canyon. Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn. Maybe Brian and Heather can join me. That's a good start on the miles and the fun.

By Anne Csepreghi on July 9, 2013 5:34 AM

I would use a million points to stay in the Disney area hotels of Best Western in Orlando Florida with my grand children.
My grand daughters so love Disney and it would be such a surprise to treat them to a holiday which they cannot afford themselves.
My husband and I are new Best Western members but have seen some beautiful hotels advertised on the web site and would consider any of the Disney properties if we could stay in a Best Western Hotel.

    By H M Lisk on July 9, 2013 5:38 AM

With one million Best Western Points my husband and I (we are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this year) would embark on a senior road trip from North Carolina to Salt Lake City, Utah to visit our son, his wife, and our 3 grandsons who moved there a year ago. We could celebrate USA, family and our 50 years! Thank you.

By Sheila Gill on July 9, 2013 5:39 AM

I would spend the points to have my son and I ( and maybe a few of his friends) go to a nice beachside resort. His sister will be off to college in the fall and it will be just us, so i want to make a vacation special just for him for the first time.

By Bonnie Nash on July 9, 2013 5:45 AM

I would like to go to Quebec City and sightsee around that area and partake in the wonderful French food and take our kids and grandkids so that they can have the experience of the culture there.
We could drive in our daughter's van and stay at Best Westerns in Ottawa for a day or two and then Montreal for a day or two and finally Quebec City which would break up the trip into small segments. This would be an educational adventure for our family and time to bond together and we could go on to Bar Harbor to savor lobster and seafood and come back through the States stopping at towns or cities to break up the trip on our return. I live in Florida but am spending holidays with family in Canada so this would be a great break for all of us and something to remember the rest of our lives. The locations of Best Westerns is convenient wherever you want to visit so you can stop when you find an interesting destination and not have to make lengthy distances if you get tired

By Andrea Berger on July 9, 2013 5:46 AM

I would travel from beach to beach this summer.

By Shelly Gould on July 9, 2013 5:52 AM

A million points! Oh what a dream that would be! There is no doubt in my mind that I would be using those points to stay in your hotel/motels all around North America. I would take a road trip to visit all the provinces and states, and of course use my points for the gas in my car. Being able to use the points at the restaurants usually conveniently attached to the motels, is always a convenience, and the free breakfast is always a delight!

I could send my family gift cards for getaways to your hotels, as well giving my grandchildren trips to theme parks. What more could anyone ask than a stay in a beautiful setting, in a very clean and comfortable establishment at no charge! What a great pleasure that would be for anyone!

    By Gary D on July 9, 2013 6:07 AM

It would be easy to know how to spend a million points. I would use them to travel to the western US and see the beautiful wilderness of Washington, Oregon and California. I have never traveled in these area except for northern Washington and southern California. Those trips have given me a small taste of the area so I would like to fill in the middle of my experiences.

By William Hartley on July 9, 2013 6:21 AM

If I had 1 million Best Western rewards points, I would use it to plan the "Ultimate US History Road Trip" for my family and me. I have been teaching US History for 29 years and would love to reward my commitment by next year (after finishing 30 years all at the same school) taking a trip to all the important places in US History I have never been to (believe it or not): Philadelphia, New York, Boston and more (Valley Forge, Fort McHenry and so forth).
Our 10-year old son just started doing the "Junior Park Ranger" program through the National Park Service on a short family trip to Tennessee, and those points would sure help to fill up is "park ranger passport" with stamps from national park sites all over the eastern United States!
Will is developing quite an interest in US History. I would welcome the chance to take him to all these places and share my love of our history and heritage with he and his mother. He also shares our love for baseball and we would love to take him to some of the great ballparks, especially Fenway Park in Boston and Camden Yards in Baltimore (Yankee Stadium would be difficult, given we are devoted Red Sox fans, but still....).
So those 1 million Best Western rewards points, and certainly a $250 gift card, would go a long way to helping me realize the "dream trip" I have been planning ever since William Francis was born on August 12, 2002. I hope you will seriously consider my application.

    Sincerely,
    William L. Hartley

After we got married we did go to Florida but not alobe-we took our 4 year old and my 9 and 13 year old boys. So needless to say it wasnt a honeymoon. We are in desperate needof a get away with just the 2 of us.

Through history many people and cultures have suffered. We in our lives tend to forget because we are safe in our homes with our day to day existence.
If I won the points I would take my family of 6 to Europe. I would show then the Normandy Beaches, the Concentration Camps and the Berlin Wall. I would want them to remember that this freedom did not come cheap and that they need to be grateful for all our military has done, so we can live like we do today.
This would enable me to also show them the historic sites of Austria and how the composers like Mozart, Tchaikovsky created such wonderful music .
Italy would be my last stop to show them how "Rome was not built in a day" we use this phrase a lot.Florence, Venice and Rome would be fantastic to see.
Dreams do come true if you wish for them hard enough.

By Sue Dahl on July 9, 2013 6:28 AM

We would definitely use it to get our family together! Our 1 & 3 yr old granddaughters love water, so perhaps a MN lake (near their Great Grandmother, whom they've only met once)....., or an east coast ocean location nearer to where they live. With 7 of us coming from 3 different locations, I'm sure we could make a big dent in a Million Rewards Points on lodging, gas, eating out, and visiting local attractions!

My dad passed away dive years ago so my mom, daughter and I started going on girls road trip every year since then. We have a lot of fun wherever we go and we usually stay at the best western. M y brother just passed away this year in January so it has been tough so far and my mom is heart broken so this trip in July is going to be especially hard but we will make it fun for her. Our first stop is Leavenworth Washington, and then on to Lake chelan, we are a little disappointed that they have changed that hotel as it was part of the best western chain and not anymore. We get air miles and we always use them for the points to get the bestw eastern cards, Ir is getting expensive now adays to travel but we could use the million points to go all the way to California for a two week vacation. And I would like to take my mom to Italy too.

By Rachel on July 9, 2013 6:47 AM

With 1 million points? I'd go where ever I want, and bring some friends, because that's a lot of points to use by yourself.

By ColetteK on July 9, 2013 6:48 AM

We don't get to travel much, being we farm and raise cattle, so if I had these points, I would make SURE we went ANYWHERE to enjoy a short vacation away from the farm...summer goes by too fast, and we don't get to enjoy it away from the farm.

By Pamela Greenlaw on July 9, 2013 6:49 AM

I would take my granddaughters on trip somewhere where they haven't been.

If I was to win a million rewards points,I would travel to Florida to see my only child. He left here in 2009 and went off to college. I have seen him only a few times since then. He is now an executive chef with lots of student loans to pay. I live on a budget thanks to my bad health. Three weeks ago I had a heart attack to add to all things. I plan on driving to see him and take his only grandma he has left, but would love to stop and spend the night to rest. I would use the other points to stay there awhile and for places to go when he has a day off.

    Hi,

If I had a million Best Western Reward points I would use this for my husband and I to travel the USA on our Harley Davidson. It is on our bucket list to get to every state in the USA on our Harley. This would be a dream come true. We do travel as often as we can and our choice of hotel is the Best Western and you just happen to have a relationship with Harley Davidson which is really awesome. Thank you for all the programs that you do offer. See you at a Best Western soon. We will be going on a vacation the end of August for 10 days and we will be staying at a Best Western as our 1st choice always.

    Thanks,
    Karolyn Wied

    Hi Best Western folks,
If I had 1 million Best Western points I'd take my freelance technology writing business on the road to see America and write as I traveled.
I'd go to Washington, D.C., and relive our nation's history.
I'd go to Charlottesville, Va., to see this pearl of a city.
I'd go to Memphis and see Sun Studios. I'd go to the Lorraine Motel, now a museum about the last moments of Dr. Martin Luther King's life.
I'd go to Nashville to listen to great country music and see the sights and sounds of this music mecca.
I'd go to Raleigh, and then Asheville, N.C., to experience new places and experiences.
I'd go to the Outer Banks because I've never been there before.
I'd go the the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to see the history of our space program.
I'd go to Orlando to visit family.
I'd go to New Orleans to again relish that lovely city that oozes with charm, history and amazing food. I'd eat beignets and drink chickory coffee at Cafe du Monde.
I'd go to Oklahoma City to see the federal building bombing memorial and pay tribute to the victims who lost their lives there.
I'd go to Austin, TX., to see it again and hear more great music. I'd drive to Amarillo to see the town. Of course, I'd have to go to El Paso, the theme of many a country song.
I'd go to Albuquerque, Sante Fe, then on to Tuscon and Phoenix. Las Vegas of course, and on to Reno and San Francisco.
Portland would beckon, as would Seattle, then on to Cheyenne, Boise, Omaha, Sioux Falls and Boulder.
I'd be a man on a mission of seeing new places and reliving some old experiences.
Then there's Iowa City, Dubuque, Madison, Milwaukee, Racine and Chicago, through the heartland.
Back east through Indianapolis, Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Museum, on to Erie and the lake, then to Pittsburgh and Shanksville, where I would honor the Flight 93 memorial site.
Up to Ithaca, Niagra Falls, a stop in Keene, N.H., lobster in Camden, Maine, a jaunt to Boston and a stop in New York City.
Philadelphia my home town, then home to Lancaster, PA, to sit, ponder and relish every moment of the journey.
All the while I will be able to work from the road in Best Western hotels and enjoy life on the road, and its surprises, travails and occasional monotony.
That's what I'd do with 1 million Best Western points.
    I can't wait to get started. :)
    Thanks and best wishes,
    Todd

I often travel to B.C. to visit my Mom and the hotel is always a big cost as I am not a wealthy lady. I try to get out there as often as possible. Not worrying about paying for my hotel would be such a big help.

I could go on and on but we would have a ball!

My husband Frank and I have a yours, mine and our family, 6 children together, with a child in Michigan, a child in Florida, and 4 in Amarillo, TX.

All our children are grown, self supporting and busy with work and family.

It would be wonderful for the whole family, grandchildren included, to all meet in one place, Florida would be perfect. We could all have hotel rooms on the ocean for a few days and spend time with each other, that would be like a little piece of heaven to me.

I don't want much in life but that would be the icing on the cake.

    Thank you!

I've always wanted to visit Ireland, Switzerland and Greece, so that is those are the first places I would research. Being able to go hiking and sightseeing in any of those 3 countries would be wonderful.
The other place I would consider spending the Best Western points would be in Florida along the Gulf Coast, especially the Naples area. It's so beautiful there and there's so much to do. After spending time in Florida I would love to spend a month on Jekyll Island in Georgia. The peacefulness and natural beauty is breathtaking.
So many places to visit, I imagine I could write a book on all of the ways I would spend the Best Western points!

By Linda Nixon on July 9, 2013 7:37 AM

If I could win one million rewards points, I would give them to my brother-in-law, Mike Conner. Mike has a dream (he calls it his bucket list) to visit every major league baseball stadium in the United States. For his birthday one year his kids gave him a trip to New York to see Yankee Stadium before it was torn down. Mike was so excited and still talks about the trip. One million rewards points would certainly cover hotels and expenses to make this happen. It would make a great commercial too.

By the way, my husband, myself, my sister and brother-in-law (Mike) took a trip out west a couple of weeks ago. Now we are all BW rewards members. We can always count on the quality of Best Western hotels.

By Carol riddle on July 9, 2013 7:38 AM

I would use the points to stay in top-notch hotels When we take a trip to Texas this fall.

I would use the 1 million Best Western Reward Points to help my son pay for his
hotel stay. He's in the Army overseas and is returning back stateside for another job assignment. However, the military requires he do training at another base other than in the state where he will be living. Do to the sequester he has to pay for 6 weeks of the hotel stay and a rental car, and he doesn't have the money.

I would take my family on a well deserved vacation of their lifetime!! My wife has wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise forever and my kids want to go to somewhere like Hawaii or the Washington DC area. I just want to go somewhere that I can relax, sleep late & not have to worry about the 2 jobs I work.

By Thomas Tisch on July 9, 2013 7:43 AM

I'd donate the 1,000,000 miles to Partners in School Innovation in San Francisco for hotel stays to support their USA national work to turn around under-performing public schools

By Virginia L. Flores on July 9, 2013 7:44 AM

I would use the points to take my twin granddaughters on a trip. In June, we were on our way to Yosemite after spending the night in Fresno, when one of the girls had a seizure. The ambulance took her 41 miles back down to Fresno, where we spent a few hours in the emergency room, spent another night in a hotel, and returned home the next day. Happily, my granddaughter is taking medication now and is doing fine, so i would like to treat the girls to another vacation.

By journjock on July 9, 2013 7:44 AM

I would donate 150,000 award points to a group that needs housing for families visiting hospitals.
I would run a contest among my family members to pick a Best Western Resort for all of us to go to all together.
I would go with my wife to our favorite city for a private weekend after that noisy all-family event.
I'd save a few award points for a rainy day. This all sounds so practical and actually do-able that I just might follow through if I should be obliged to send Best Western a thank you letter.

By Jackie Crowder on July 9, 2013 7:45 AM

I'd get on my motorcycle and with my husband and friends we'd take a road trip on a loop north through California, Oregon, Washington, into Canada, down through Montana and Idaho, Colorado and home. That's our "dream loop."

I'd use the point to travel with my wife to cruise ports. Get there a few days early. Check in at the Best Western in that city and enjoy the sites before leaving on our cruise. . Upon returning from the cruise check back in for a few days of rest and relaxation before returning home. Sweet and simple, but oh so enjoyable.

Winning a million Best Western Reward Points would be better than winning the lottery for me. I love to travel and it is what motivates me in life. To see all parts of the world has been a lifelong dream. As Best Western is my go to hotel wherever I travel, I would start in Paris as I truly love the Best Western Aramis St. Germain hotel. A week there would start my dream of a dream vacation. I would bring two of my closest friends with me - those who cannot quite afford the luxury of world travel. This way I would be making their dreams come true as well. From the City of Lights I would travel to Amsterdam to see the Rembrandts and the Van Gogh paintings. I would stay at the Best Western ApolloMuseum Hotel - what a treat. And from Amsterdam to Copenhagen to the Best Western Hotel City to see the country that refused to deliver their Jewish citizens to Hitler on the eve of WWII. I admire them so. From Copenhagen I would go to Switzerland - to Geneva to see the people who make the clocks work and stay at the Best Western Hotel Diplomate. Then onto Strasbourg to discover the city that is both French and German, staying at the luxurious Best Western Hotel de L'Europe. Then off to Hamburg for German beer and culture at the Best Western Alsterkrug Hotel. Our last few nights would be spent on the sparkling Mediterranean Sea at Nice at the Best Western Hotel Alba, before taking the high speed train back to Paris for a nighttime tour on the River Seine. Thank you Best Western for giving me the chance to dream!

By Elizabeth Rome on July 9, 2013 7:56 AM

I would spend as long as possible exploring all the cities I love and all the cities I have not been to yet. Disneyworld would be at the top of the list, and then I would rent a car and visit my family in Houston. I would take them all out to eat at the best restaurants there (like Tony's).

By DeLayne Capshaw on July 9, 2013 7:58 AM

If I won the $259 travel card I would use it to see the South. There are so many wonderful places to visit in the USA that I want to explore it. My daughter lives in Louisianna so we want to visit her and then travel to Tennissee ,Mississippi and Georgia.

If I had 1 Million Best Western Rewards Points, I'd take my wife and son on a European vacation so they can see the places where our families came from. We'd go to Italy and see the Vatican, go to Sicily so my wife can explore her family's roots, and then head up to Poland, Germany, and the Ukraine to see some cousins of mine we've managed to keep in touch with over the years. We'd see the site of the former Berlin Wall, see the camps where my family were sent during World War II, and explore the heritage that so many kids my son's age don't even realize they have to explore.

By john nijmeh on July 9, 2013 8:05 AM

My husband has recently been diagnosed with primary liver cancer. We are very fortunate to live in a state that has a wonderful cancer center- Emory Winship Institute in Atlanta. We live approximately two hours from the institute and have to drive early in AM for his appointments and treatments- which is exhausting. We would use our points to stay at a Best Western in Atlanta, for food and gas. All would be a great help since we are without insurance and every penny counts. Once his treatment is finished we would use the remainder of the points to travel and celebrate life!

By Donna on July 9, 2013 8:11 AM

I would love to get it as I am a widow and would enjoy being able to travel and not worry about the cost of motels along the way.. It seems that the motels are more expensive than gas on a long trip.. My big dream is to travel across the south from florida to calif. and enjoy the sense of not worring about the cost of a room for 8 hours.

By Linda Sobotkiewicz on July 9, 2013 8:15 AM

I want to keep my promise to them, that one day I will take them.

I would spend a great vacation to somewhere at the beach.

By Paul Lambert on July 9, 2013 8:16 AM

I would stack my points in giant stacks so I could laugh maniacly while crying "They're mine, they're all mine!"

I would spend my points on genetic research so we could have unicorns. I've always wanted to ride a unicorn.

I would gamble all my points in a high point stakes poker game.

I would use my points to bait a troll trap. Everyone knows points are the best troll bait.

I would give my points to the New Orleans Saints. After this last season they could definately use points.

I would start collecting stares to match the amount of points. That way, when I want to make someone uncomfortable I'll have a good supply of points and stares that I can whip out. Also handy for Superman spotting.

I would keep a bunch of points in my pocket for when I come across people watching golf and fishing on TV. At least then it'll have a point. And for people that argue on the internet.

I would open up a business that sharpens darts. With a good point stockpile it should give a decent headstart because I wouldn't have to come out of pocket for all the new points up front.

I would keep them out of the reach of infants and toddlers. I wouldn't want one to lose an eye.

I would spend one on this post. It definately needs one.

...or I would use them on a trip to Jamaica for my 10th anniversary for me and my wife so we could revisit where we got married.

I would definately have my husband drive me on the motorcycle to as many places as we could see. Best Western and sister companies are located all over the country and I think we would start with the one we like best in Gatlinburg, TN. Its right in the heart of things. Then we could just take off for the next place because gas wount be so bad on the cycle and the rooms would be free. I think we would have a quick stay on Miami Beach too, we like that Best Western too! Well, hope this brings me luck !

I've always said that I want to play golf at least once in every state and these points would go a long way to making that dream come true!

I would undertake a trip arouns the world; staying in Best Western Plus facilities in different countries in order to be able to compare customs, values, history to explain the different modes of living. While travelling around the planet I would utilize some of the points for airfare, cruises, car rentals and other modes of transportation. Winning 1 000 000 points should give my wife and I a good starter on a project that we have cherished for years.,

    Hoping that we win

I am embarking on a world trip tour starting this fall. I am on a disability pension and dollars are very tight. But, my disability is getting worse and I want to travel while I still can. Having so many dollars means no more low-budget rooms, better food and endless gas to travel across Canada and the US.
Just imagine, week long stays to explore at each location instead of a day. Yahoo!

I would love to take my beautiful wife on a late honeymoon (27 years late). We couldn't afford more than a weekend when we were first married and now after raising two kids we have the time but not so much money. With college tuition and the poor economy it's feels like it's still just a dream. We have always dreamed of going to Italy or Croatia to visit where our grandparents came from. We still have relatives we have never met. I would love to surprise my wife for our 28th anniversary. A million points might do the trick.

Using the 1 Million Rewards could benefit the less fortunate. I would find deserving single parent children who can not afford a vacation and travel with them and document their trip to a life changing educational trip. Be it to a homeland not known, or finding a loved one, or to a place of passion that could transform a child's perspective on life and its' possibilities. I would love to be able to help someone who could later in their life "pass it on"!

If I had one million points, I would travel to the west cost in Oregon, Washington & maybe upper California. I have been to Oregon and had the best vacation of a life time. Next time I would like to stay at a hotel near the Ocean. Another thing I would like to do is to just go to one of the beautiful hotels that you use in your advertizements...like the one listed for San Diego in the current e-mail sent today. Just seeing the pictures makes me want to go. I also would go to any destination near friends that you advertize in the Special Internet rates...such as Salem Or. or Fort Myers, FL as I have family in both areas. Would one million points be enough to do all of this? Of course, I would earn more points while traveling.

We are snowbirds. We like to take our rr south for the winter. We leave in December or January so the trailer is already winterized. In order to avoid any problems with pipes freezing, etc. we leave it that way until we arrive in Nevada. During are trip we stay at Best Westerns along the way - for a number of reasons: Best Westerns are accessable (very important when towing a 5th wheel trailer behind a pickup truck), have a pool, are pet friendly, reasonably priced & I am a Crown Club member so enjoy earning club points .Winning points would be used during these times for lodging and meals - maybe even some fuel.

One million BW points, a dream come true. I would like to cross the usa from east to west, visiting every large city, staying one week at least in each onre to appreciate museum, opera house and good restaurant.

Because my husband owned his own business, we have only taken one family vacation in 31 years. In fact, last year the economy was so bad we didn't even do anything for our 30 year wedding anniversary, and this year we went to dinner and a movie for our 31st.
If I was fortunate enough to win the million points, I would gift enough to my daughter for her honeymoon--she's getting married September 27th, and then after that, sit down with my husband and children and plan several family vacations together. Once we have our family trips scheduled I would like to take a trip, just my husband and myself to Hawaii, since we have never taken a trip just the two of us, and have never been to Hawaii. We need that much needed time away to reconnect and relax. My family is the most important thing to me. Both of my parents have passed away, so we will want to bring my in-laws on one of the shorter trips we take since their health can be an issue.
Going on any vacation with my family, would be one of the biggest blessings in my life--those are memories that can never be taken away. My children still talk about our one and only vacation to Lake Powell, and that was over 10 years ago!

By Jenny Bryce on July 9, 2013 8:57 AM

Wow 1 million rewards points! We already take advantage of Points and gift cards from our Best Western Rewards but we do have one lifetime trip that could happen if we were able to afford the accomodations along the way. We love to travel along scenic roads on motorcycle. Since the milestone of our 60th birthdays has slid past us, our dream for my husband and myself is to ride from Ontario to the west coast around and back, taking in provinces and states that we have only read about so far. We love to plan our route around towns that have a Best Western. We have done this in Canada, the US and Europe and we know that we can expect a specific standard each time that we enter a friendly door. Because we are on a motorcycle, our luggage capacity is limited. Hairdryers and bathroom supplies are welcome after a day in the air on the road. Since we are a bit older the comfortable bed and linens work magic. Internet allows us to keep in touch with family that sometimes worry about their delinquent parents and keep an eye on banking while away. Majority of the hotels will have a breakfast buffet that lets us get a normal start on our next day adventure. The west coast and back--lots of days and lots of nights to accomplish that. This is our bucket list.

If I would win one million besy western points I would organize a weekend flying and dining experience for my friends and relative's. I would fly folks, from Alaska, New York, and Europe. for a 3 day weekend in Seattle. We would stay in the downtown Seattle Best Western in Pike Place Market. Between air fares, dining experience and all the Hotel rooms the points would be gone and everyone would have a memorable sleepless in Seattle weekend.

By Maryanne on July 9, 2013 9:07 AM

I would spend my points on friends who have fallen on tough times and my friends who have lost their loved ones in the fires, make it one happy getaway for all of us to relax, breath and be able to enjoy life's simplest joys again... I would want to see them laugh and maybe cry to let out their feelings and give them back something they may not be able to do again.... And of course I would let them choose the destination.... Even if I couldn't go I would want see them come back with big smiles and happiness... So thank you for giving this opportunity.... :] :]....

Our 50th anniversary is coming up in the next few years and we are trying to figure out our options. I would use the 1000000 Best Western points to stay in Europe and plan the trip around the various countries. It would be a dream come true. Neither of our parents made the 50 years.

By Fran Lennie on July 9, 2013 9:08 AM

As I plan to return in the coming year (2014), I will finally have the time to enjoy a vacation that is longer than a week or two! My parents originally came from Scotland, and it is my dream to spend a month there to reconnect with my heritage. As Best Western has many fine independent hotels throughout Scotland and Great Britain, I know I would have a ball arranging my intinerary of accomodation and meals with my one million Best Western Rewards Points! What a dream come true this would be.

By Will Cordery on July 9, 2013 9:10 AM

I would use the One Million Rewards to find a deserving family and document their travel to a educational trip that could create hope and open the minds of children to a world full of possibilities. The world is full of possibilities and beauty and should be shared with children of passion. Travel to the seven wonders of the world such as The Great Barrier Reef, Victoria Falls, Gallopigas Islands, Castles of Ireland, Yellowstone National Park, Thailand's floating markets, and of coarse a Trip to Disneyland, possibly in Japan.

By peggy vogds on July 9, 2013 9:11 AM

Wow, One Million points!! I think I would like to give to the charities that Best Western features especially the "Make a Wish" and the "Hotels for Heroes". I am blessed that I don't want for things, and don't get to travel as much as I would like, so I think I could share points instead of using them for personal reasons.

If I had 1 Million Best Western Points I would buy enough Delta Skymiles to fly me and the hubs to Paris, rent an Avis rental car and tour the country staying in Best Western Hotels! I would also buy an Nook to keep up on my reading and a the Canon SX500 to photograph my journey! I would also use them for a Samsung 8GB Galaxy 2 Tablet 7" Screen so I could stay connected and get the Ray-Ban New Wayfarer sunglasses to protect our eyes! I would also redeem the points for Macy's, J.C. Penneys and Kohls gift cards so we can purchase some really cool clothes to wear in Paris! Lastly, I would use a ton of points to make a charitable donation to Hotels For Heroes Donation to assure that our military is rewarded for their sacrifices and a second to the American Red Cross to help the victims of all the natural disasters that have plagued our country recently. As you can see I'm a good little shopper! Now, If I only had a Million Best Western Points! I better get working on it!

I think I deserve the Bahamas trip more, than anyone else in the whole world. I'm gonna make a twin of my self, while I'm there too. So that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Bahamas here we come.

What would I do with one million points? Me I always wanted to go back to Europe, been many years since I was there and on my bucket list to go back....I know it cost a lot to stay at hotels and this would make my trip...I have checked into where Best Westerns are located and they are every where that I would like to visit. I am actually trying to save enough points now to help out for when I do go back I can stay for a few nights, this will take a few years but by then I will be retired and can afford it....

I would take my parents, who are Italian immigrants, back to Italy for one last visit. My Dad is 92 years old and I am so grateful to have in in my life this long. I would like him to see his family farm (still cared for by his cousin) before he passes. He immigrated to the U.S. 66 years ago and only returned to Italy once. My Mom is 85 and I would like her to visit Italy again too. My Dad worked hard his whole life to take care of our family, he still does. I would like to show him my gratitude with a special trip.

My husband and I are new empty nesters. We've been married 19 years, and have never been just a couple, because his daughter was 6 when we got married, and then we had a daughter together. The youngest just graduated high school and moved out. It has been a rough ride, with the youngest having several surgeries and needing years of therapy. But we survived, and are stronger for our struggles. If I had a million points, we would travel every weekend to a different destination - exploring the United States first.

By Arlyne Polosajian on July 9, 2013 9:53 AM

I am in the military and am across the country from my family and spend a lot of time out on field ops sleeping in the desert. There's a Best Western that I love to stay in about an hour away from where im stationed, when ever I get a chance I go and stay their and relax. The Best Western I like to stay at is in Palm Springs CA near the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base. If I won the travel card I would take a few days off and relax and enjoy being at a nice hotel without the worrys and stress of the Marine Corps.

If I had a million Best Western points I would use them to see my family, who is living in the East Coast, over a well-deserved relaxing vacation. My husband and I have had to move to Alberta for work (during which we stayed in Best Western hotels all across the country) and we've found it hard to be so far from those we love. We would be so excited to make some old-fashioned family memories with them by bringing them here to see the Calgary Stampede or taking them to Disney World where we can forget about the troubles of day-to-day life and the hard reality of being separated. Everyone needs a little magic and love in their life!

By Cathryn Payne on July 9, 2013 10:55 AM

I would use the points to plan a vacation for me, my husband and our four children ages 26,24,19,17. We have not had a "family" vaction in a many years due to school, work and schedules. I really feel that this would be a great way to relax and have fun with our adult offspring. I think as adults we forget that it is important to show our children that we know how to relax and enjoy time together instead of rushing here and there to stand in line and wait. None of our children are married yet or have their own children so I believe that this would be a great time to enjoy each other and reminisce about our lives.

By Chuck Gwatney on July 9, 2013 11:02 AM

For years, my wife and I have dreamed of taking a trip out west, following old Route 66 as much as possible. I did that as a boy in 1952, and often look at those old photos from back then, and thought how wonderful it would be to do it again. We recently got a new car, and would really like taking this trip now since we should have no car mechanical worries to hold us back. I really believe that if we won that $250 Best Western Travel Card, it would push us over the edge, and we would finally take that trip of our dreams.

I would love to take my husband to the North Shore of Ma. in the autumn. We would go during the week and I would pack my watercolors, he would take his camera and fishing rods. We are working on our bucket list and this would be his first time to experience Kelly's seafood on Revere Beach, to see the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem [where both are families are from], and to visit Plum Island's nature preserve. We would then drive to lake Winnepesauke in New Hampshire and take the cruise around the lake enjoying all the beautiful colors that New England has to offer!

By Marilyn L. Charkin on July 9, 2013 11:09 AM

53 years ago, we vowed that our marriage would be for better or worse and in sickness and health. This past year we have been tested with surgery for lung cancer, two knee replacements, and assorted physical problems. Yet, we continue to laugh and dance and live for each moment. As medicine saved our lives, we feel fortunate to have medical bills. However, It would be wonderfully unexpected to relax by a beach, have a massage, and be treated to all that Best Western offers. We are both happy to be alive and well. We are satisfied to just wake up in the morning. A wonderful vacation would simply be unexpected icing on the cake. When we think of all the places we still haven't seen; all the experiences we still haven't had, we can only dream. Selfishly, we realize that there are others who may need this more and we can't deny them their dreams. We can only hope that you understand what this would mean to us.

    Thankyou,
    Linda and Chuck Charkin

I would love to get my wife and kids and pack our bags and take a nice road trip across this great country of ours! I would take my kids to historic places that our country has to offer, so they can see places that they've only read about in school. A MUST would be to travel to some of our National Parks and stay in towns that they may never get a chance to stay in again. To make memories and stories with my family, so that my kids can share them with their kids someday. That's what I would do if I had 1 Million Best Western Rewards Points!

My first thought would be to book a flight and go to Ontario,CA. From there I would check into my favorite of all places to stay Best Western Pine Tree in Chino, CA. however after thinking of myself I would actually donate a portion of the million points to charity. Seeing that families have the burden of paying for hotels and motels during the most trying times. Especially with all the tragic occurrences that have happened within the past year. I would want to lighten someone's anyone's burden.

By Ray Johnson on July 9, 2013 11:48 AM

By Diana on July 9, 2013 12:28 PM

I would love to go to one of the Hawaiian Islands and bring my adult children with me. I would stay one week and enjoy not worrying about money and truly relax and enjoy my family. It is hard to go on vacation without scrimping on food or other excursions due to limited funds.

By Karen Faulkner on July 9, 2013 12:56 PM

When we travel we always purchase BW travel cards before leaving home so this would certainly help us in our travels. We don't like coming home to a large credit card balance. We would definitely look for BW Plus along our route before leaving home. We always use the travel trip planner which is a great help. As retirees, we now have more time to hit the road. Hopefully we will be the winner.

    By J Berg on July 9, 2013 1:12 PM

I would love to win one million Best Western Reward Points because it would mean I could actually afford to travel more and find time to visit my daughter who is headed off to college. Throughout my daughter's life the two of us have traveled extensively for golf tournaments which meant staying at numerous Best Western Hotels) to help her reach her dream of playing golf in college. After a lot of effort and hard work she has reached her goal and of course she chose a college out of state that has year-round sun, beautiful golf courses and beaches. Guess which state that is? However, now to see my daughter it means we will have to take flight and will be limited on how often we can see her mainly due to money, distance and short school breaks. So yes, I would absolutely love to have a million BW reward points so I can afford to see her more often and maybe travel a time or two with my husband as well. Best Western has been a huge part of our summers as we traveled throughout Washington and Idaho. We knew we could always count on the quality of the rooms and she loved starting her morning with waffles and fruit just before an early tee-time. So thanks Best Western for becoming a part of a great childhood and contributing to a well rested and well fed athelete!!

By Cathy Zimmerman on July 9, 2013 1:20 PM

I would use my points to rent a car so that I could take my kids and our dog on a trip from Pennsylvania to Seattle, Washington, I have driven across the US using a southern route, but would like to go along the Canadian Border, possibly crossing over into Canada. I know Best Western has hotels across the United States as well as in Canada. I would use the 1 million points for a variety of items, like hotel stays, rental car, gas cards, and dining gift cards. It would be a great escape without the worry of how I was going to pay for it...

By Irene Corey on July 9, 2013 1:23 PM

I would go to Raleigh,NC. I would use the points to stay as many nights possible I could with it, since Best Western is The Best! I would brag to everyone how nice the rooms are, the great complimentary breakfasts, relaxing pool area, and just the relaxing ambiance of staying in a Best Western. I have stayed at Best Western many times, and they are so quiet and relaxing. They are my first choice for a hotel, anytime, anywhere.

By Alan Graham on July 9, 2013 1:27 PM

I would find myself a great Best Western and stay there until all one million miles were used up!

By Greg Samson on July 9, 2013 1:31 PM

Those million points would be gone in a heartbeat at every Best Western "Plus" Hotel across Canada and the U.S.A.

What a way to spend the Summer and Fall!

    By Ashley D. on July 9, 2013 1:50 PM

Last month I retired after serving as a high school English teacher for 25 years. If I had a million Best Western Reward Points, I would embark on a life-long dream to visit all 50 of the wonderful United States. I would use the points for gas and hotel stays on my odyssey.

By CJ on July 9, 2013 2:13 PM

There's so much world to see! I've been to 49 of the 50 states, so I'd probably put Hawaii at the top of my travel list - the last state to visit. And then start over! Alaska, for the LONG summer nights. New England for the fall foliage. Maybe feed my inner history geek and drive the Pony Express Trail. Or plan a trip around some of our wonderful National Parks. The possibilities, and the dreams, are endless!

By Amy on July 9, 2013 2:15 PM

I'd take my 2 grade0school age kids on a tour of famous Revolutionary War sites - Boston, Philadelphia, Trenton, there is so much to see!

By James Tobin on July 9, 2013 2:24 PM

Some of the best stays I have had have been at Best Western. Several years ago we traveled cross country from Ma to Yellowstone. We stayed at Best Western Inns during our drive across. and during our return trip.

By Patricia Leonard on July 9, 2013 2:25 PM

I'd go to Ireland. Do not add my name to any mailing list, or sell it to any other company.

By Linda on July 9, 2013 2:30 PM

If I had a million rewards points, I would acquire enough Southwest Airline points to purchase two round trip tickets to Orlando, Florida. I would book a stay at a Best Western hotel in the area using more of my points. The remainder would be used to purchase Disney gift cards so I could be a kid again at Walt Disney World. If by chance there were any points left, I would use them to get Outback gift cards so I would not have to cook when I got home. I have not totaled the number of points that would require. If there were enough points remaining, I would take one or more people with me. Why be selfish?
Thank you for the opportunity to dream. I'll have to settle for using my real points for a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale the night before our next cruise. Reward points are a wonderful thing!

By Kelly on July 9, 2013 2:32 PM

If I won 1million Best Western Reward Points, I would turn into a traveling guru. I would visit the most gorgeous spots all over the world using my points as currency. I would purchase my: airline tickets, gift cards, gas, dinning, hotel and all the other stuff needed for a world class vacation using only Reward Points!

By Lynda Mauro on July 9, 2013 2:44 PM

If I won a million Best Western Points, I would use them to stay at the Best Westerns in the cities my children live in!! I go often to visit my Grandbabies and as the kids have only a small apartment I have to find my own place to stay.44.If I didn't,t have to pay for hotels, I could buy more gifts for The Babies!! That would be the biggest gift of all! I!! I love BW hotels and use them wherever I travel!

By Epifanio Rosales on July 9, 2013 2:51 PM

If I where to get 1 Million Best Western Reward Points I would take my wife and 2 little girls to Sea World! I cant afford to take them and they have always wanted to go. I would also get gift cards to Walmart and Target to get my girls school supplies and their school uniforms now that would really help me out. Times are hard living pay check to pay check. I would really love to get the points it would help me a lot and just to see my family smile and happy that would make my day. THANKS BEST WESTERN FOR ALWAYS OFFERING GOOD THINGS.

By Darlene Prine on July 9, 2013 2:51 PM

If I won 1 million Best Western Reward Points, I think I might hit the Gulf Coast. My husband and I would get away, just the two of us!! Gulf Shores AL., maybe or maybe a little further south into FL.. I just can't imagine being able to stay in a Best Western with that many reward points, but I can almost smell the salt air!!

By Joyce Janelle Bates on July 9, 2013 2:53 PM

If given 1 million reward points, well we would strap on that traveling clothes and go again. This time, since the points would be free, and we could fly to Great Britain all season and see England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland, and Germany. The hubby and I would be digging deeper into our family genealogy. It would be my chance to see these places as I have never traveled outside of the U.S.A. I don't know if I'll ever get to the UK, but I like to think I will someday.

We just got back from a car trip across the U.S.A. Most of the places we stayed with Best Western, and without a doubt they were the nicest hotels, with the nicest people running them. It was almost like staying with family. The only cities where we stayed elsewhere the BW was full up and/or there wasn't one close to where we were stopping for the night. The hubby likes to drive until he picks a spot. I tried to gage and call the next BW to see about a room. It worked about 2/3 of the time in a two week period. We stayed in a lot of really nice BWs.

By Laura on July 9, 2013 3:04 PM

Tour as many Best Western hotels around the country. Get to know more great employees at them all

By Wendy LaGrand on July 9, 2013 3:25 PM

I would spend the 1 Million Best Western points to take my family on a beach vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. I am a single mom to three kids, (17, 19 and 23), and my middle son will be deployed to Afghanistan in late Sept and it would be really nice to have a family vacation before he leaves. He is a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, (my oldest son was just honorably discharged from the Navy as a Corpsman). It is very difficult to go on any sort of vacation since I am currently unemployed, but if I had to points, I would love to spend that time down on Ocean Blvd, in Myrtle Beach! Thanks!

Today my husband and I celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. We never had a honeymoon so I would put the points toward a honeymoon in Hawaii.

Next summer hop in the car for 2 months and drive around the country with my wife of course!

By Mario Dumaine on July 9, 2013 3:36 PM

I would spend my points in BW around the world where there are diving center close to the BW hotels

By Garrett Iverson on July 9, 2013 3:38 PM

I am an aspiring professional golfer and during the summer I drive around the country for 3 months and play in all the state open golf tournaments and instead of having to sleep in my car some nights to save money I would be able to stay at more Best Westerns and be able to have some more fun in each city I travel to. and since I would have more money saved up because I wouldn't have to pay for hotels I could pay for WEB.COM qualifying School this year or next year and not be broke after trying to accomplish my dream of being a PGA Tour member.

By Abbie Hill on July 9, 2013 3:44 PM

I would use the 1 million points to stay in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where my only child (a daughter with the same name as me) lives. She is 23, beautiful and I miss her so much! She graduated from Tufts University last year and I stayed at the Hotel Tria, near Fresh Pond in Cambridge for the ceremonies. They made me feel so welcome there; it was almost like my own home. You can imagine watching my daughter graduate from college was a thrill, but it was bittersweet because I knew that I was now an empty-nester. Abbie lives about a 15 minute walk from the Hotel Tria. It would make my heart sing to be able to spend a month or so reconnecting with my precious child.

By Ann Fredriks on July 9, 2013 3:44 PM

I would take my husband and stay at as many Best Western hotels as I could all along the California, Oregon and Washington coast. I would definetly stay at my favorite Best Western in Brookings, Oregon.

I think that I would spend one million reward points on a 30th Anniversary cruise to Alaska with my husband. Although he has travelled extensively, he has not really spent any time in Alaska and I have never been there. When our 30th hits, we will be empty nesters. Some travel, excitement and adventure will be just what we need to embark on our "new" life together!

If I had 1 Million Best Western Rewards Points, I would use them to book a second honeymoon in Jamaica with my husband. We went to Jamaica for our honeymoon and had hoped to go back to celebrate our 5th...and then our 10th anniversaries. Since we have a young child still at home we haven't been able to go back as we have no family nearby for child care. Our son turns 12 this month. Since Best Western Rewards Points do not expire, I would hold them for when our son goes away to college in 6 years. Then my husband & I could have a second honeymoon without having to worry about our son so much.

Too many marriages end in divorce these days. My husband & I have maintained our commitment to one another, grown together instead of apart, and still cherish one another. A second honeymoon seems like the best way to spend 1 Million Best Western Rewards Points!

We sure will enjoy it !!!

Lovey, my year old Chihuahua and I would continue our 18 month cross the United States trip. We have been staying at the BW in Orlando, getting into Disney and our Favorite Universal Studios'(can you say Scooby Doo!). We ride up north to Charlestown to taste the fine old southern hospitality, ravel in the old homes, and see Fort Sumter. We are the history, eating kind of a team. Baltimore and the National Aquarium, and Fort McHenry the birthplace of the Star Spangled Banner. NYC, food, fun, Broadway, and then to the heart One World Trade Center. We would stay on the road, Niagara Falls honeymoon capital of the world, we would see Justin Timberlake in Chicago, and Lovey wants Chicago style pizza.
We would see the east and mid west, stopping for food, the unusual, and sleeping in our bed at the Best Westerns along the way. Maybe we could even to make it to Mexico. Still haven't figured out to get a passport for Lovey.

By Marilyn Friesen on July 9, 2013 5:47 PM

Wow! My husband and I would use the points to travel throughout the southern United States - this is a trip we would like to take this next winter. Then, in spring, we would travel to France and redeem more points in Paris, in Normandy and in Aquitaine, followed by a trip to London and Cornwall and Devon. Being able to stay with "family" aka Best Western, would be the icing on our travel cake!!

I would use the Best Western Reward Points to take my husband (survivor of 6 treatments of cancer over 24 years), my Mom (recent survivor of cancer), my Dad (who still works daily at age of 81), my Brother and his family (wife and 2 girls, 10 & 7) to go to the Grand Canyon National Park. In my work, I have traveled there many times, but could only bring National Park videos home. I think I would like to share this country with my family. thanks.

By Gayle Massey on July 9, 2013 7:16 PM

I HAVE A DREAM...a dream that includes all of our children and grandchildren. My husband David and I are getting very close to our 50th wedding anniversary, and we would very much like to go to Honolulu, Hawaii to celebrate. We have looked at the BEST WESTERN The Plaza Hotel on line and love it. The problem is the expense. My dream is for all three of our children, their spouses and our eight grandchildren could go someplace really special to celebrate our 50 years of marriage.
We have taught our children, and our grandchildren that marriage is a "Love Ya' Till I Die" commitment. To be able to celebrate in Honolulu would truly be a dream come true...but, if we don't get to go we are still very blessed.

Dreams are made of things like this. Being able to bring a family together that time and miles have separated. Giving an Aunt who has not driven the chance to fly and see the ocean. To hold a Grandchild close after several years. To see the smile of my aging mother. Meals, hotel transportation all done. Side trips of unforgettable beauty. Words alone are not enough. But the photos would last forever.

I would spend my best western points on staying at the best western plus beach resort in fort myers beach. i went there in 2009 with my wife and kids. they had the best time and it was the vacation ever. i recently went there agin with my wife and had a great get away vacation. we could have picked lots of other places but chose this place because of that time in 2009. we would like to go back again soon as a family but money has always been a issue. this place is by far the best place ever and would staying there multiple times a year if we could. no need to spend my points anywhere else.

To have and spend 1 million Best Western Rewards points will be quite pleasent way to see Europe without a hasle. The easy way to make reservation and consistency of basic standards between locations along with local flavor of each hotel makes travel with Best Western Hotels very enjoyable experience. We done it , we sure about it. It is like having summer house or condo or in thousands locations.

I would go to beach resorts owned by best western would be number 1! I would use my points for purchasing gift cards to buy my beach resort clothing, I would use my BW points to eat out at the finest restaurants! Probably in pismo beach, or key west, but most likely where I have never been! I love my BW points and all the places I've been.

By Shealagh Easton on July 9, 2013 10:45 PM

    Hello,
What would I do with 1 million Best Western Rewards points???
Well first of all I would like to say how much I enjoy being a BW Rewards Member. My husband and I both joined a couple years ago and have been enjoying the benefits ever since. We love staying at BW properties because we always know we will have a nice, clean room with a comfy bed. The employees are always friendly and as a matter of fact a few even know us and call us by name at our favorite BW hotel in Edmonton - the Denham Inn & Suites Plus.

    So, here's what I'd do...

I would plan the Best trip for my amazing Mom to visit Ireland where my Grandfather was born. I would bring my lil sister too because it wouldn't be the same without both her daughters with her.

My Mom is the Best! She is the most selfless, thoughtful, kind, loving and generous person I have ever met. She does wonderful things for everyone who comes into her life and never expects anything in return. She is just happy knowing she was able to make someone else happy or just make things a bit easier for someone in need. Whether it be an ear to listen, shoulder to cry on or just plain good advice she is always there for anyone in need.

My Mom gives and gives to everyone in her life. Our friends all call her "Mom" and have since we were little. She is our Best friend and is always there for us no matter what. She's helped countless kids 'make it' in school and helped them to believe in themselves so they could make it in the real world too as they grew up. I can't even imagine how many Science Projects, Speeches, Essays and Math tests she has helped with in her lifetime, but I know she enjoyed evey minute.

My Mom has never taken a vacation ever. A few days here and there but not a real vacation and certainly not one where SHE was what it was all about. It would be such an honour to be able to give my Mom the opportunity and experience to visit a place she has always dreamed of with her daughters. I want to try and make her feel as special as she always makes my sister and I and anyone who comes into her life feel. To be able to give back to her for all she's done would be the Best gift ever.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,

    Shealagh Easton

We would travel to as many places in North America where there was a Best Western Hotel...using the points for vehicles, gas, attractions and of course, hotels & restaurants.
If we hadn't used them all up in our own country, we would travel to Europe and the UK as well.

I would use my reward points for my son Garrett who's Autistic...loud noises as in dogs barking, screaming kids, phones ringing, timers/clocks buzzing/ringing etc....when this happens, he screams holding his ears(he wears headphones), has a fit that takes 5 to 20 min to calm him down. He sits at his desk looking/playing on his computer, and watching tv(that is silent) only nickelodeon. sometimes diney cuz the movies. He will go to the park maybe 2 times a month, then a kid will scream cuz hes having fun, but garrett can't handle it so we leave. we moved into this house 6 yrs ago. we have 1/3 acre with trampoline/enclosure for safety, 15x24' pool, big wooden swing/play set, but wont go outside!! I think the dogs behind us(all 3 houses behind us, beagle, lab, rott & yappy2) stop him from going out cuz he's always worried when the next barks coming. A vacation at best western would be perfect because he'd have internet/tv, pool/video games, and no worries about dogs

I would spend my points celebrating me graduating from college with my masters. I finally done with school after being in there for 7 years and we are trying to plan a big trip! We plan on staying at a best western since it has been the nicest place we have stayed at. We also plan on sitting by the beach somewhere and relaxing. If given a chance to win 1 million reward points, I would bring my parents whom are in retirement to a few places they have always wanted to go in Canadaand could not afford or did not have the time to plan for. I think this gift would be a great way to create many new memories seeing that life is so short. I would also take a few trips with my own children and husband so we can explore and fulfill our travel dreams all around the world. I think its important to travel to learn and appreciate other cultures. The best way our kids can learn about history and geography. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

While in Alaska this past June, several Australians told us of the 'must do ' places if we ever went 'down under'. This got me to thinking about how many great places are right here in the US of A.

I'm making a list of places in each of the 50 states, and plan to see as many of them as I can when I retire in the next 5- 7 years. I had not stayed in a Best Western previous to this trip to Alaska and the experience was top-notch, so I joined the loyalty club. Since Best Western is partnered with SWA, I've got my personal set of travel guides.

By sharon york on July 10, 2013 7:40 AM

Would travel to Florida and see my son and 3 grand son's. We don't get to visit them much because of the cost.

By Daniel Kasowitz on July 10, 2013 7:58 AM

I would spend the reward points by taking my wife and 81-year-old father-in-law to Israel. It's been his lifelong dream to visit Israel. He's well-versed in the Bible, and he would appreciate a trip there.

By Susan on July 10, 2013 7:58 AM

We would go to some of our favorite Best Westerns (Plus), including the Cristata Inn in Uncasville, Connecticut. We enjoy the WNBA games at Mohegan Sun, do a little gambling, eat there--all made easier with the free shuttle limosene! There is another Best Western Plus near Baltimore, MD that we enjoy and have used their shuttle bus into Baltimore. We find that each Best Western is a little different and we enjoy them all. Perhaps with a million points we could visit several of them again?

By Robin S Gatrell on July 10, 2013 8:21 AM

I would use the 1 million Best Western Rewards Points towards airlines tickets and hotel reservations, etc. for my husband and myself for a long overdue return vacation to Honolulu, Hawaii. We would like to spend two weeks in Hawaii and island hop. The last time we were in Hawaii was for our Honeymoon and we only spend 6 days in Honolulu and were always busy. We were only able to spend a couple of hours at Pearl Harbour on our tour that we booked. We want to spend an entire day there to capture the history, two hours was not enough time. There is so much to see and 6 days was not enough time.
Let me express to you my husband does not like to travel to far from home, but I convinced him to go to Hawaii for our Honeymoon. We both enjoyed every minute of our trip and didn't want to come back home. We were wanting to make a return trip back on our fifth year anniversary this year but financially unable to make the trip possible.

By AD Lister on July 10, 2013 8:21 AM

"if you had 1 Million Best Western Rewards Points what would you do with it?" Well we'd use it to stay in a number of Best Western Hotels on our way to the East Coast to visit family that I hardly ever get to see, like once every 5-6 years & sometimes longer than that in between. Then of course we'd stay for a week or so in a Best Western Hotel once we get there, how wonderful that would be. When we get back home we'd use the remaining points for a once a month date night & stay at our local Best Western Hotel in the Honeymoon suite we stayed in the night before we left on our Honeymoon.

    By R Lister on July 10, 2013 8:33 AM

With a million Best Western Points, I would use them to take my parents to Denmark to see aunt and their family. On the occasions when our favorite (and only!) aunt from denmark visit, it always seems too short, so spending a little extra time with them would mean the world to all of us, especially with their new little baby Oliver!

The Best Western there has a bowling alley as well as a gallery of wonderful old pictures in black and white of the Grand Canyon including the Phantom Ranch Lodge building the swimming pool at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The breakfast as well as all the meals sounds great. . From the Grand Canyon, going to Williams for the train ride as well as Bearazona. Driving the car through the park to see the Buffalo, Wolfs, and much more. This sounds like a treat. In town they say the best pies are there. costly but worth it. One million Best Western Rewards Points is a lot of points that we will use to stay at Best Western Hotels when we travel to many destinations such as Swift Current, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg (anywhere in Canada). With these points they could be converted to Travel Reward &/or Gift Cards to use during travels in Europe, UK and Scandinavia as well. We have always been well-treated during our stays at Best Western.

Now that sounds like a fantastic way to spend 1 million Best Western Points.

We would bring the extended family together for a family reunion. We are scattered from coast to coast.

By Debra Blomstedt on July 10, 2013 8:23 PM

A million Best Western reward points would be great to use for an extended family getaway. What could be better than getting together to celebrate family? Last fall my husband and I stayed at a fantastic Best Western in San Diego that I wouldn't mind returning to with the family. Each family could decide how they would like to use their points not used for hotel stays--would they like restaurant gift cards or gas cards? The reward points would make a family trip more attainable for all members.

    By Laurie25 on July 10, 2013 8:36 PM

I would spend a million Best Western Points by traveling to each and every province and territory in Canada. If there were still points left after that exhausting trip, then I would try to visit to every continent anad stay at Best Western of course.

As a commercial driver, I am on the road all the time, and ,money gets tight. It gets tiresome sleeping in my van all the time. So Sundays (and some Saturdays) are the only time I can get out and stay at a hotel. So for me, I would use them on the hotels, so I could save some money. Some of it I would use to take my wife out to dinner and a movie when I did get home. I also would use them for dinner on the road, again to save money. During the summer I, I would like to use some to stock up on fishing gear and for a fishing trip. Some of the points would make for a nice honeymoon my wife and I never got.

One million miles.......enough to take my wife away for a weekend every month for a while, to give her the break she needs, and to take the family for a vacation to see the National Parks that everyone should get to enjoy once in a lifetime.

As I approach retirement, my goal is to visit every state capital. With the exception, of Juneau, there is a Best Western that would allow me to complete this quest. Perhaps by the time I retire, Juneau will be added to the locations available.

By Mary Lou Jones on July 11, 2013 7:07 AM

I would travel along the ocean and go from state to state. I would spend 2 nights at each Best Western so I could tour the area and then I would move on to the next area by the ocean. I have NEVER stayed at a Best Western that I didn't like! They have all been very clean, breakfasts very good and staff very helpful and nice.

By Catherine Grobler on July 11, 2013 12:16 PM

Hawaii on your mind? It's on mine, too! The one million reward points would be enthusiastically spent, with much aloha, on O'ahu, near Diamond Head, where I would toast the hotel chain with a delicious tropical drink; on Maui, near Lanai, where I'd snorkel with joy in the beautiful Pacific, thinking about the Best Western comforts awaiting me after a day at the beach, and on Kauai, my favorite island, where I would wear a pikake lei in honor of Best Western's generosity. Mahalo for the brief fantastical escape to paradise.

I would go see my brother who currently is living in a rehab/senior nursing home in Grants Pass, OR. My brother has MS and it's at it's worse stage. My family needs to see him and we don't have much money. It would be the best day ever if we could go there and see him. He's very depressed being all alone with no one to see him. All of his family live in Santa Rosa, CA.

Hospice is now involved in his care. I have gone to see him before and stayed in Best Western in Grants Pass and found the staff to be extremely helpful. This is the only place I stay anymore when I do travel due to my experience in Grants Pass and Eugene OR when my brother was in a rehab there. We stayed at the - New Best Western in Eugene and it to was very nice and accommodating.

Please help in our plight to see my brother. I really don't know how much longer he has and he's all alone there.

    Sincerely,

    Sharon Rogers

Then I would head to Indiana to visit my dear friend, Luke, in a senior care facility. Then I would stop in Lansing, MI and pick up Pam. We would go to the Upper Peninsula and along the coast of Lake Michigan together, check out those dunes. On my way back to Washington I would stop at as many National parks as possible. On to Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea, and the New Hebrides.

Time to catch breath in South Africa (Best Western here I come) to plan an overland route to Egypt via Ethiopia and Sudan.

Probably good idea to see how many points are left after this far.....

If I had a million points - first, I'd be smiling ear to ear and woohooing to beat all get out! Then I would be on the internet plotting a road trip - first to BC to visit our son and then out to the East coast to say that I've finally seen Canada from sea to sea. Next, I would be sending out travel cards to members of our extended family as gifts with a big plan to have a big family reunion someplace fun that has all the amenities you could hope for (like hearty complimentary breakfasts!) Oh, the fun we would have...
Thanks, Best Western, for chance to even imagine a million points!

1/2 for husband and I to enjoy...no expiration! Because it will take us forever to save up gas money and jukin' money besides the free hotel rooms. 1/2 to a charity that provides hospitality for people needing room and board near hospitalized family members...or perhaps save it for winter time and give them to people who may need somewhere warm to get out of the cold - if only for a night.

    By Jo-Anne McKimm on July 15, 2013 12:22 PM

Would use points to travel and see family that I haven't in 10 to 20yrs. Would also take my kids on a family vacation which I have always dream of. The reason I say this is because as child I would always here kids at school say they went on vacation to places like Disneyland and we could never afford to to those type vacation. Because our vacation going from town to another to work in farm labor.
So now that I am a adult my dream is to give my family the vacation I never got.

(I especially want to check out the theme rooms at the Fireside Best Western in Kingston, Ontario!) I would fill up the gas tank numerous times and take family and friends on some "Tina adventures", because they all know that when I hit the road that I always want to see what's around the next turn, take in community events, and take LOTS of pictures! (I would make neat coffee table books for presents, too!) Just think of the options! Who knows where we'd end up!

If I were to win the Million Best Western points :)

I would travel with my husband, his brother and wife and our best friends the Steeves. We love travelling together and have always dreamed of flying to Europe and travelling from one Country to another by Train, plane or automobile :). We've been to Paris, France and we stayed at the Best Western Ville des Artiste Hotel which we found absolutely a great location, comfortable rooms and I'm now hooked on Best Western Hotels. It's so nice at the end of a busy day to go back to your room and have all the comforts of home. The staff were friendly, professional and it was a very clean place, the beds were sooooooo comfy, the tub was deep enough to soak in a comfy bath and I can't wait to go back. We really really want to be back in Europe and travel from place to place. All three guys love photography and take more pictures than we have time to look back at, we also shoot video and put local music to our film for an invaluable keepsake, we would share our memories with Best Western to capture our life experiences.

I hope you will consider us for this contest, my brother in law has battled cancer more than once and his wife also has major heath concerns.
We believe in living life today, there are no guarantees for tomorrow

    "Cease the Day-Couples Abroad"

There is nothing I'd love more than to take them with us
to enjoy a dream of a lifetime.

I might take a trip there and go to a luau, which has been a lifelong dream of mine.

I would use them to go on a trip to New Zealand. I'd like to see the active volcanoes - from a safe distance, kayak in Abel Tasman Park and cruise on Milford Sound. On route a stop in Tahiti and /or Bora Bora might be nice. and...if there were any points left over maybe an extension into Australia.

I would use them to take my family on trips to a few places we've always wanted to go but can never really afford. We've wanted to go to Florida and Denmark since I was a kid and have never had the chance.
