1 - definitely. There's always something different every time you go, but there's always the enjoyment of being comfortable and familiar.

2 all the way. We go to a different 6 flays every year and this year it is the one in Nj we have a 14 year old foster child who wants to go to the beach. So we picked Nj, the best western is giving us 6 flags discount tickets.

I vote for #1. My favorite place to visit is Washington state to spend time with family. Living 1500 miles away from them, I enjoy going and spending time with them when the opportunity arises. I would rather travel to visit them than never be able to see them again. I don't need to be a world traveler to be happy

We always try and travel to at least one new destination every year but always include our usual spots in the route. I'm a teriffic navigator! I always search for Best Western because they are more "pet friendly" than a lot of the others. Plus their suites are the greatest! Thanx Best Western!

I'd choose #1. I've done my share of travel and am old enough now to where I already tend to go to the same favorite places over and over. Just to know I'd be able to go "without fail" would be wonderful! (I had to cancel this year because at the tender age of 60 caught mono and was quite ill)

I've been living #2 for the last 6 years. (Well, with a few repeats such as Vienna, New Orleans, Sydney, Chicago, Hong Kong, DC...) Life is too, too short and the world too, too wide to limit myself to one destination.

I have enjoyed so many places and said I'll go back every year lol. It always turns out the same, I go to a different palce each year. Even though the weather hasn't always been up to par, the golfing is ! I'll have to go with "2" and keep seeing the world.

Oh definately #1! Going to your favorite spot repeatedly means you establish friends most of whom will also be there every year. It also means discovering new things each year in places near your favorite spot. It's like reading a good book over and over or seeing a wonderful film again and again- you are constantly discovering new things about the story or the film. In addition, no one says you can't take a completely separate trip, at another time, to new places.

i would take #2 for 2 reasons
1/ for a honeymoon with my 2nd husband (didn't have one with the first)
2/ because i have only been in alberta for 4 years and the rest was in ontario have not been anywhere else

#2--never been anywhere other than ontario and alberta

2 for sure. While it can be fun to visit the same place, and the same people, to me it's much better to explore new places!

number 2 because never going back to someplace you love could be really disappointing but never going anywhere else would be sheer torture.

What a privilege it would be to be able to see so much of the world! And knowing I could only visit each place once, I would make even more of an effort to make the most out of each trip.

We enjoy a new adventure when on going on vacation. There's so much to see and do, so have fun traveling and enjoy what this world has to offer!

1 - It's OK to be a creature or habit when the kids can look forward to it all year!

Going to the same place more than once can be disappointing, as things/people change, there are still so many exciting places to explore.

1 - never do a location twice it is so much to see out there...Venture out and spread your wings.

2 - the favorites are great, but not to be able to find new favorites would be sad

This is a big wide wonderful world and as much as I have enjoyed returning to places for a second and sometimes thrid time, the lure of the remainder of the world is immense. Every day another destination seductively whispers to me to come and to see, taste and feel its beauty, culture, sites sounds and tastes.

I would chose number 2 because I am always open to new adventures and you can always take cool pictures and have those memories forever.

Number two .....We love road trips and have been to twenty one states and visited sixteen National Parks in the last three years. I have also been to four European countries and want to see more. Does only the final destination count? It seems that to get anywhere you must go through somewhere else.....like a major hub airport!.

I choose 2. I find myself entering a new phase in my life. My husband is in hospice, in the end stage of renal failure. When, we were able to travel, we always went to the same place. I am seeking new adventure, the opportunity to travel and make new memories. As a woman, traveling alone, I know I can trust any Best Western location, I might visit.

#2 for me. Variety and new experiences are important to any traveler. Why limit yourself when the world is waiting!

1 - There's nothing like returning to the same place - guaranteed to be great - but you will always find something new to do as long as you look for it. That way you get the best of both worlds. Why fix what aint broke and why spend your whole life looking for something you already have :-)

I was able to have a fabulous trip to Germany last year so this year I would love to spend a few days in New York. It's been many years since I was there for work. This time I'd Love to just explore and experience all that city offers-or as much as I can
