I consider my passport a life-sustaining necessity. Since I was a baby, I've been traveling internationally, visiting more than 40 countries and taking up residence in 6 different nations- some quasi-democracies, some dictatorships. When asked where I'm from, I'm more likely to say where I've most recently lived/visited. Most unusual experience: spending time with the Nivacle tribe in the remote Chaco region of Paraguay.
