For families, another fall staple is the week-long break our kids get from school and the plans you must make to keep them busy. This fall season, why not include a fun trip in your fall break plans?

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta

While this festival just took place, it's not too early to start planning for next year! Take a trip to Albuquerque to watch as hundreds of hot air balloons fill the sky at one of New Mexico's greatest events and a world-renowned destination for kids of all ages, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Join in the week-long festivities - reserve a balloon ride and take in views of the southwest from the air, explore the Balloon Discovery Center, witness the amazing creation of sculptures created from chainsaw carving, and other family-friendly activities.

Fall Foliage Road Trip

Experience the natural beauty of the fall season by taking a road trip through New England. Start in Maine and make your way down the coast through New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, stopping to visit the towns and cities along the way. Throughout your trip, you'll see picturesque autumn scenery and an explosion of colors that only this season brings.

Fall Tropical Vacation

Go somewhere unexpected this fall season, and take the family to Hawaii. The islands have beautiful year-round temperatures, but since fall comes just after the summer vacationers and the just before the tourists looking to escape harsh winters, this is a perfect time to take advantage of the deals you can get from airlines and hotels.
