Best Western Introduces New Cleaning Technologies For Hotels

Maid.JPGYesterday marked a special occasion For Best Western, as our new program - I Care Clean - was launched via an exclusive in USA Today. Best Western continues its dedication to lead the hospitality industry in customer care with advanced cleaning technologies throughout 2012 in the more than 2,100 Best Western hotels in North America!

The new program empowers Best Western's Housekeeping to set a new standard for customer care with the use of UV Wands, Black Lights and Clean Remotes.

Here's a more detailed explanation of what to expect:

- Ultra violet (UV) sterilization wands- Wands from Purelight are used to sterilize "high touch points" in the hotel such as telephones, clocks, light switches, door handles, bathroom fixtures and common areas.

- UV inspection black lights - These black lights are used as part of the housekeeper inspection process to detect any biological matter, food particles, and more, that the human eye cannot see.

- Clean remotes or wraps for the remote control device - These unique, seamless remote controls are designed specifically to make it easy to clean and disinfect before each guest stay.

- Pillow and blanket wraps - Extra pillows, blankets and towels are wrapped in 100 percent recyclable and biodegradable single use wraps to ensure guests know that these products have been cleaned just for them.

    Longwood Boston Ma is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in will not be staying at another best western anytime soon checked in today because I will be having a serious surgery on monday and needed to start cleansing my body on Sunday the toilet does not work correctly that should be just great tomorrow when the cleansing starts . First time we stayed after chemo that toilet didn't work either .

    Franklin, Tenn. It was the worst also. Our room key never worked . We had to get a new key every time we tried to enter the room. It was not very clean. The air conditioner grinded so much we didn't even turn it on. I must say the people were nice.
