Nearly every frequent traveler has heard that the dirtiest thing in a hotel room is the TV remote, right?
Starting this year, one of the first things you'll notice when you walk in your room at a Best Western is the new "fresh remote"--which has been specially sanitized by housekeepers, then slipped into a hygienic wrap.
Earlier this year, I took my video camera out to the BEST WESTERN PLUS Grosvenor Hotel in San Francisco International Airport for a closer look at how Best Western housekeepers are using new high-tech tools to keeps rooms super-clean. Come on along and take a look with me!

I recently stayed at a Best Western in Eagle Rock. I was actually really impressed with the cleanliness, especially as they change the bedspread between each guest stay. Yes, the hotel was located next to a freeway offramp, and room had the ice machine directly outside of it, but I was so pleased with how clean the room was that I would totally stay there (and other Best Western's) again, because the room was as advertised.
