As you may have noticed, we've been posting here lately about New Year's resolutions related to travel. If you're like us, your travel goals for the year are always ambitious. Best Western now has a Facebook promotion that can help you achieve those ambitious goals, check out the details below!
In 2007, UK Professor Richard Wiseman conducted a 3,000 person study at the University of Bristol around New Year's resolutions. He found that 88% of New Year's resolutions fail, despite the fact that 52% of those people felt very confident in their ability to succeed on January 1st.
This sounds grim, right!? But , there's still hope! All people really need is a little motivation and a little help. That's why Best Western launched the new Travel Resolutions promotion.
Whether you want to visit family more or go to that Polynesian island you've always fantasized about, your travel resolutions could make 2013 the best year yet! Share your 2013 travel resolution with Best Western on Facebook and you could win BIG.
Here's how:
When you enter your name and resolution into the Facebook app, your travel resolution will become public and you will be entered to be one of two people to win 1 million Rewards points and be featured on the Best Western Facebook cover photo as the "Feature Fan of the Week". Best Western wants to put you in the top 12% of commitment keepers. They believe that your travel resolutions are important and shouldn't be forgotten. Hopefully, 1 million reward points can make that dream a reality!

Our resolution is to travel more this year with our 4 border collies. Last year we left them at home. We missed them so much that we have decided to buy a trailer to haul our two Harley's and all our dogs. Best western is pet friendly and that will work out great. In my experience Best Western is the only place to stay and is the only place I do stay. So watch for us at your motels as we travel to see friends and family all across this great country this coming year.
