By now you may have read my post from last month about the outlook for the fall travel season.
The lead on this post read: Election-year uncertainty and a weak US economy combined with higher gasoline prices, airfare and hotel rates have not deterred American travelers this summer, and healthy demand should carry on into the fall months.
Well, editors and producers at Fox News are reading this blog, too. After seeing the post, they asked me to come on air and discuss my fall travel outlook with anchor Shannon Bream. The segment was seen by nearly one million viewers!
When you are on the road, which news channel do you most frequently watch from your hotel room? Fox? CNN? Headline News? BBC? MSNBC? Local news? Please leave your responses below.

My favorite place for viewing the fall leaves is Hendersonville, North Carolina. It is a good base for hiking to waterfalls in the Pisgah and DuPont Forests, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, touring the Biltmore House, seeing plays at Flat Rock Playhouse North Carolina's State Theater, golfing at Mt Mitchell Golf Club, antique and clothes shopping in Hendersonville, Brevard and Asheville and of course, eating in the award winning restaurants.
